Warfare of the Brain

There are not enough masks in the world

To protect those I love from the seed of hate

Sowed deeply in humans’ hearts and furled

Around their brains, lying in patient wait

To infect and mutate those pure of heart

Into mindless monsters of malice and ignorance,

Of violence and sentence to tear people apart,

And shame those for their flaws and differences.
