Chapter 30 When I'm empty?
Swanstrom stood calmly as if he didn't know Taylor had called the police.
It didn't take long for the police officers stationed near the airport to arrive, and with them came the ambulance.
Swanstrom, seeing that the time has almost come, walks next to Maddison, and while she is not looking, both hands go up to hold Maddison's arms.
"Ah-" Maddison yelled in pain, pushing Swanstrom away with her other hand, screaming in horror, "Mom!!! She hit me again!"
Taylor raised her hand to slap Swanstrom, but thought the officer was approaching, so she had to hold back and turned to the officer and said, "Arrest her! She broke my daughter's hand!"
The officer looked at Swanstrom and saw that the young girl had a simple and innocent face, and did not look like someone who would break someone's hand.
"Doctor! Come over here first and check the victim's injuries." The officer greeted the doctor and came over.
Maddison hurriedly pointed to her injured hand and said to the doctor, "It's this hand, I can't move it at all, it hurts so badly when I move it."
The doctor rushed forward to check, but check to check, the doctor's face showed a suspicious expression, eyes between Swanstrom and Maddison.
"Doctor, what's wrong?" Maddison asked, "Is it that my hand...... won't recover?"
Taylor was so appalled and angry that he immediately said, "Sir, please arrest this prisoner immediately!"
Swanstrom said coldly: "Auntie Taylor, I call you Auntie Taylor, and please don't call me a prisoner. If you continue to call me that, I can sue you for defamation."
"Slander?" Taylor pointed at Swanstrom's nose and said, "You broke your sister's hand, and you're calling me slanderous?"
Swanstrom raised an eyebrow and said, "Auntie Taylor, don't talk too soon, lest your face hurt later. It's better to see what the doctor says."
Taylor looked at Swanstrom with a calm and relaxed look, and inexplicably some panic.
But this time, with all the evidence, she didn't believe that Swanstrom would be able to defend himself.
This time she's going to send Swanstrom straight to jail!
With this in mind, Taylor impatiently asked the doctor, "Doctor, have you finished your examination? Is my daughter's hand broken?"
The doctor looked at Taylor for a moment, and his face didn't look good.
He said coldly, "This lady, do you think we are all so empty? So idle that we have to help you manage family strife?"
Taylor froze and asked in disbelief, "What do you mean by that?"
The doctor didn't bother to pay attention to her, and turned his head directly to the officer and said, "The lady doesn't have any injuries, and there are other patients at the airport, so I'll leave first." Taylor and Maddison were stunned by the doctor's comment.
How is it possible that there is no injury?
Maddison tried to move her hand, and this time she was surprised to find that her hand didn't hurt at all.
She tried to exert herself and found that the force of her arms worked.
"What's going on with this......?" Maddison looks to Taylor and says, "Mom, my hand seems to be healing.
......
"Really?" Taylor touched Maddison's hand and sure enough Maddison didn't hurt at all.
Taylor, relieved and suddenly angry, glared at Swanstrom and questioned, "What the hell did you do?"
Swanstrom spoke icily, "I'd like to ask you what you're doing, is it fun to call the police? Do you want everyone to know about your own family's scandal?"
Maddison was furious: "I didn't call the police! Swanstrom, stop pretending! Mom, look at her!"
