VAMPIRE DOLLHOUSE

Chapter Day 2- Hope

~Your beautiful smile.

I could stare for hours.

I’m enchanted by your soul.

If we could hold each other right now.

I think I’d be able to finally understand what you meant when you told me you were at peace when we are together.~

Luke looks at me, having awoken from his 24 hour nap. It is midday and I am only looking at him. He smiles at me and blows me a kiss from where he sits on the floor. “Good evening, Angel. How are you doing, Beautiful.”

“I am doing fine now that you’re here with me,” I smile. “Do you think the help will come soon.”

“Yes. I'm positive someone will come saveus and if not, hell, we’ll save ourselves when the full moon rises. Just like we planned.”

“I’m so excited. I can’t wait,” I reply, smiling peacefully. I feel soft and fuzzy as we speak. And I do. I feel at peace at the sound of his voice. “What do you think we’ll do when we get out of here?” I ask.

“Well, I’d like to ask you to marry me for one.”

I smile, feeling my cheeks warm and my heart beat harder in my chest. “You would?”

“Yes, would that be all right with you? If we got married?”

“Yes. I would be so happy if we got married.”

“That’s makes me very very glad. I hope I can get you the best diamond ring on the market. I’ll buy you flowers and get on one knee and propose to you properly in the way a man should propose to a woman.”

“And I would say yes when you proposed to me.”

“Thank you, Angel. You’ve made my day.” He continues. “I’ll quit my job as a Werewolf Slayer and we’ll move to a quiet little town and never think of these things again. We’ll buy a little house with a picket fence and buy a little puppy and you can have all the fineries I can possibly afford to give you, my Angel.”

“That sounds wonderful,” she spoke wistfully. “I can’t wait. Do you think there will be flowers.”

“Of course there will be flowers. There will be so many flowers you won’t be able to count them all. And we’ll plant a little flower garden in front of the house together. That would be fun wouldn’t it.”

“When we get out?”

“Yes, when we get out? I couldn’t reach my friend again but once they break the barrier for us, I should be able to use my telepathy once more.” He smiled. “Are you bored?”

“Yes a little.”

“Would you like to see flowers right now.”

My eyes light up. “I would. I would.”

“Watch this.” He snapped his fingers twice clapped his hands once. In the center of the room formed a beautiful hologram of the field of flowers they had seen the night before. “I also have the power of recall. I can conjure up the past images from my memory and show you them.” He put his hands together forming a triangle with both hands and a cloud of faeries sprung up from the floor in light imagery only. They began to twirl and sing and dance in the center of the 3d hologram of flowers.

“How lovely. The images from the other night,” I whispered gleefully. “How adorable.”

They watched for awhile and watched as the flowers glistened under moonlight and the faeries twisted and twirled beneath a velvet sky. And the dancing and singing was as lovely as it was the other night.

“How much longer.

These precious moments

Will they last

with us together.

I love you

Please don’t disappear.

Because when you live forever,

an eternity is like a second

and a memory like a dream.”

They sang.

The dancing faeries and flowers were a wonderful sight and I found myself singing along to their sad song. Luke joined and soon both of us were singing quietly to the faeries light tune.

“How much longer.

These precious moments

Will they last

with us together.

I love you

Please don’t disappear.

Because when you live forever,

an eternity is like a second

and a memory like a dream.”

We sang.

“How much longer.

These precious moments

Will they last

with us together.

I love you

Please don’t disappear.

Because when you live forever,

an eternity is like a second

and a memory like a dream.”

All together,

we sang.
