Unknown Magic (3)

Chapter 4,1

From the first sound of the drums, and crackle of the fire Wolf next stage in life would begin. Everyone wearing a traditional leather clothing from a mixed of 1600’s to 1800’s to modern day. Making it seem like you were walking through different times zones at once. Thought from other packs it made sense that traditional clothing would be varied throughout.

I only wore a cotton long sleeve beige shirt, with stretchy black trousers and a nice leather looking jacket for the cool evening. Since I would not be on display of attention, as most future Lunas would be. I didn’t need to be dressed to impress.

The coronation began with Wolf walking to the built throne with a crowd on either side of him watching his every move. His gaze would shift every once in a while to where I stood just off the stage but near the throne at the front. I would catch his eyes and always give a reassuring look that I would still be here.

The last minutes of the sun made the wooden throne seem darker and richer in material but that soon changed when now it was becoming a show where you saw dancing flames shadows on it. Night was arriving and the full moon cast down the silver light onto Wolf who held my gaze one last time. His eyes bore into mine and I gave another smile and node letting him know I was till with him. Just then when reached the throne he turned and allowed himself to lower into the magnificent chair sitting nicely but he looked uncomfortable with all the attention. Him and I both were not ones for attention yet somehow, we draw it.

Mama” A hush voice came and I looked down to see Alice winding herself into my arms. I smiled and offered to pick her up. She accepted and made herself comfy on the edge of my hip. I then turned her focus onto her father. Who was being spoken to about the deeds of being a alpha for the Hunters Forest pack.

Though the words seemed foggy barely listening to them as another little being wrapped his arms around my waist under Alice legs. Shifting Alice a bit I pressed Junior against my arm hugging him to my side. Now I really tried to focus on what was going on. There obviously would be no crown but a handshake, transfer of power.

I looked up again to see Wolf stretching out his hand to his father. They clasped hands together. There was sternness of a look, unspoken words of agreement.

“—Do you Wolf understand and take full responsibility of the Hunter Forest pack, acknowledging and taking care of how they are?”

I only heard the cracking of the fire and a slight wind as everyone had gone quiet. I could hear a slight unevenness in Wolf breathing before he actually answered.

“Yes, I do, they are my people, my family” his accent came out heavy, but I saw something in his eyes that only a wife could detect. But that took a distraction as the waves of blue light wrapped around from Atreyu to Wolf. They wrapped around down to towards Wolf hands and elbow seeping into his skin.

Wolf was not alpha of the Hunters Forest.

Usually, the old luna and alpha did the transferring of the power together but since I was no Lycan and only a immortal. We had to skip that part of the ceremony. Though Wolf alpha powers would transfer to me since we did have a union marriage. But they would be different powers. As I could already feel some of Wolf power seeping into me, only in a different way. I didn’t feel power but I felt him. I would not be known as a Luna but as Wolf consort of a power.

Soon the ceremony ended and people began to mingle amongst themselves while Wolf came down to his family. Smiling the kids rushed to him and he knelt down embracing them.

What did you think?” he spoke his native language since we raised them bilingual.

interesting cool…like the way Gran explained it” Junior answered. Then pulled Alice away as food was beginning to be served. The mingling became louder and crackling of fire louder as it began to grow in the night.

I came forward to Wolf and he embraced me in his arms.

You did it” I whispered only for him to hear.

He didn’t reply but only held me in his arms, to eventually pulling away and staring down at me. “As my consort…” he faded with the word, “You will need to support me in every way possible…this may be a different ceremony and Hunter forest accepts you insanely well, but” he looked over his shoulder to the other packs. I followed his gaze seeing multiple different crowns of colour and tattoos laced on skin in the crowd. A different world of Lycans. I turned back to Wolf as he did with me. “but, be careful, we both do because—”

“Others may not agree” I finished for him. He didn’t look stunned but had a hard face.

Wolf I know… your packs accept me because I make you powerful and I am your mate, which Is not common” I smirked.

Wolf’s body untensed than broke away letting the cold seep back to my skin. He took my hand leading me to the reception of the final celebration.

Let’s show them how we party” Wolf smirked.

It was if time of celebration reversed time or something I couldn’t describe. Bustling of bodies dancing and mingling bodies was bit overwhelming. Multiple packs were here, I just never realize how many there actually were. The difference of clothing, culture can be marked of colours were so different. At times I forgot that I was till stationed at the Hunters forest but a few touches and flanked from Wolf reminded me where I was. He too seemed a little overwhelmed by all of it. But that didn’t stop us from dancing the traditional groups dances that would create a vibrance throughout earth.

I could tell the ground near the sea reaching the idle of the village that had the main bonfire was being beaten by dozens of feet.

Wolf and I would just be swaying around with others, embracing the warm air that was now created by the fire and others. The music was beautiful as we swayed to the wonderful beat. With the occasional spins and dips Wolf did to me. A smile and laughter would escape from my lips as did his, soon we began ignoring everyone around us. It was just us. But that was vanished, when even more joy came grabbing Wolf and I by the hands and spun us in a big circle.

Junior and Alice love to dance with us, they do their best to keep with the best while kicking the dirt up. Wolf was now holding onto Junior Alice hands as I did the same. Giggling and moving to the music as if there was not a care in the world. I wasn’t sure who was leading but this point it didn’t matter when Wolf broke away and spun his little girl around, while I took Junior away and hoisted him onto my hip and spun him around.

He let go giggling, flaying his arms out not caring, he was happy. We soon turned back to the original circle and just messed with our feet and moved out arms as if they were waves to the sea.

I wasn’t sure how long he had our family moment till the children broke away somehow telling us that they were off to find grandmama and grandpapa. Wolf took this chance to take my breath away by spinning me into his arms, luckily my feeting didn’t catch. This music was still up beat but slowed enough that I could slowly sway with Wolf.

HE threw me in another spin, though this time we slightly travelled through the crowd. My result to think why? he was to curious who was here. From what I could see were red, silver, green and the familiar purple with hint of blue Lycan marks.

Wolf and I were now in fast sway but tempo enough that we could still talk.

“I knew there would be many, I just didn’t believe this many… like almost every pack is here but we barely scratching the surface” Wolf said and spun me again.

I returned and clasped onto his shoulder, so I could pull myself to his ear.

Well, it’s not every day that a Lycan marries an Immortals and becomes Alpha” I reminded him.

He leaned back and stared in my eyes, we were closer to the bonfire which allowed me to see the gold in his eyes bit dominantly. He gave the look of amusement. The leaned in for a kiss that I happily accepted. His familiar pine scent and soft lips always gave me a relaxed feeling. Breaking away and dipped me with a shriek of giggles escaping me again. Roughly I was brought back up.

Yes, that is true, but also I hear that they think we will become a strong pack because of you and our children.” Wolf stated but I couldn’t detect what was in his voice. But he spun me out again with both our hands twisted above our heads twirling me like ballerina for a brief moment. And in that brief moment I didn’t have a care in the world. The warm fire, along with the mixed sea salt air, I allowed to caress my skin. But that was gone when my chest hit Wolf’s.

That also means alliances with us will be urgent and packs will want us” Wolf said in a hush tone just grazing his lips onto mine.

Now I was truly starting to understand why there were so many packs. But I couldn’t think about that anymore when a certain song came on. One that apparently captivates Wolf and I into a foreshadowing dance.

Our pack began to move away but that didn’t make a indent in the crowd. AS the softness of the music began to wrap around Wolf and I and take a hold putting us in a trance.

Our bodies started gliding to the music, we began turning each other around, staring into each other eyes as if it life or death if we break the stare. Soon the stare is okay to break and Wolf turned me into a forward spin as my clothing flared out and Wolf took charge. Floating us if we were on clouds stepping through the crowd like things changing our feet and hands. Like caressing the water. I wasn’t sure if people looked or took notice but the once, we dance around, the air around suddenly becoming cool.

A moment to which Wolf grabbed my waist and I let myself fall back reaching back feeling nothing but wind through my finger. Wolf had grounded his heel spin us around like ice skaters but on dirt. We joined back together in slow embrace, foreheads joined together, my hands on his chest both our breaths breathing heavily. The world around us completely shut out.

To do that as predicted twirls from Wolf to me were our last hurrah as we could feel the music came to a slow end slipping it grasp away from our skin. We returned to facing each other staring into another. But that soon came to an end when a eruptions of clapping that soon turned into cheering broke us away from our moment.

We stared around us, and saw that the reason why the cool air was vanishing was because we have been made center of attention. Where the wall was of people staring back at us, it was endless all around us.

Wolf clasped his hand into mine, waved to everyone probably a gesture to continue on and took me into the woods where the only light source was the moon now, that created shadows of the trees now. Mingling of people and music was not just faint sounds.

Wolf guided me to the edge of where the water met the trees and the village light was small. The cool air was beginning to wrap around me, but it didn’t bother me.

Wolf twirled me around, wrapped his arms around me and pressed his soft lips onto mine. I began to melt tin his touch. His lips soon trailed down my neck grazing my skin sending please shivers through my body. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him in.

“Asema” he whispered and my response was vital as I pulled his mouth onto mine welcoming a fun bliss night to come.
