Uncovering My Wife's Secrets (Annalise and Julian)

Chapter 43

Chapter 43 We Meet Again

The group boarded the plane.

Alexander asked his assistant to book a ticket too late. There was only one first-class ticket left on that flight.

Knowing that they were in a hurry to get back, the assistant booked first class for Tony but only economy. class for Alexander and Abigail. After boarding the plane, Abigail was unhappy. "Economy class? But I've never taken an economy-class seat before."

"Baby, just make do with it," Alexander said gently.

Inwardly, he was dismissive. She complained about flying in economy class, never giving any thought about him never having done so before. He thought how dare a young lady from a small city like her was showing off her superiority in front of a Jadeborough elite like him.

After boarding the plane, Abigail immediately saw Annalise in first class. Her expression suddenly turned ugly.

Annalise was in first class, but she was in economy class.

That meant Annalise won over her again.

Her anger rose for no reason.

At the auction, she had already been suppressed by Annalise. Now, Annalise was doing it again.

She suddenly had a feeling that Annalise would suppress her in the future.

"Bah, in your dreams!" she said inwardly.

She wondered that after reaching Jadeborough, even with Julian's protection, would Annalise, who looked like a bumpkin, be able to integrate into Jadeborough's elite circle.

Feeling uncomfortable, she couldn't help but said sarcastically, "It's really true that getting on with the right. person means being able to ride on their success indeed. A nobody can indeed be somebody just like that."

When Tony saw Annalise, he immediately thought of Annalise asking him for 1.5 billion dollars. He was also filled with anger. He followed Abigail's words and said, "A leopard can never change its spots. No matter how flashy one dresses, one can never hide what's inside."

When Annalise saw that Julian was about to flare up, she immediately pulled Julian back and said, “When I was young, I was very good at stepping on shells. My body sank, and when I stepped on a shell and felt uncomfortable, I would immediately plunge into the water and fish out the shell. Once, I fished up a shell that was bigger than my face. We started a fire and roasted it."

Whether it was Abigail or Julian's father, no names were mentioned. She saw no reason to take it personally. She had always had a principle. She never flared up in front of insults. If others were to speak sarcastically, it meant she could do it too.

For example, she deliberately brought up the story about stepping on a shell. She knew that it could anger Tony because Tony could not stand things related to the countryside the most.

Sure enough, when Tony heard that Annalise had dived into the water to fish for shells when she was young, he was so angry that the corners of his mouth twitched. He roared at Julian, "Look at what got here!"

Julian calmly retorted, "My wife may not look like much, at least she's clean and not a mistress."

"You, you!" Tony was really angry.

He immediately hit his chest and sat back down.

"Dad, we'll head over first." Alexander brought Abigail to economy class.

He still had to talk to Abigail about treating Samuel later. Anyway, he would let Abigail take a look first. If her medical skills could treat Samuel's illness, then she would be the attending physician.

If they couldn't, they could hire a famous doctor to treat Samuel. Abigail would only need to play doctor if they do so.

At that time, once the image of a divine doctor was established, it would definitely add points to her book. Tony knew that whatever Julian said was just asking for trouble. He gritted his teeth and closed his eyes to sleep.

Two hours later, the plane landed at Jadeborough.

Abigail smiled slightly. "It's been a long time since I've been to Jadeborough. The airport is still so clean, the air is still so fresh, and the sky is still so blue. Some people don't even know where to put their hands and feet when they come to such a place for the first time, right?"

Alexander had just told her the plan.

The thought that she would soon rise to fame made her very happy.

She was now a student at the Harington Medical School, Her results were good and she had already obtained the qualifications for a postgraduate degree. However, the graduate degree she wanted was actually one from Jadeborough Medical University.

She thought that if she could become a divine doctor in Jadeborough, with the Parks family's connections, she would have no problem getting into Jadeborough Medical University.

Adding that layer of prestige to herself, she could better establish her status in the socialite circle of Jadeborough.

Annalise ignored Abigail and got into a car that came to pick them up with Julian

Abigail squinted at Annalise's back.

Alexander reached out and hugged Abigail's waist. He said faintly, "Baby, our goal is to take over the inheritance of Parks Group."

Abigail looked at Alexander with bright eyes. "Darling, are you confident?"

Alexander smiled. "As long as you win against Annalise, I will work hard to win against Julian."

At the mention of defeating Annalise, Abigail raised her chin slightly and said confidently, "Perhaps I can't compare to every socialite at Jadeborough, but it won't be a problem for me to crush Annalise." "That's good to hear." Alexander raised his eyebrows slightly.

It was getting more and more fun!

In the car, Julian called Gilderoy. "Gilderoy, how is my grandpa now?"

Gilderoy said in a serious tone, "He's already been sent to the hospital. I've secretly invited a team of experts- from Metropolis Private Hospital, but Master Samuel hasn't woken up yet. I'm afraid that I won't be able to hold on for long. Albert's and Christopher's men will be here soon."

"Don't worry, I'll be there in half an hour," Julian said.

Hearing that Julian would arrive in half an hour, Gilderoy heaved a sigh of relief. "Okay, okay."

Half an hour later.

Julian and Annalise rushed to Metropolis Private Hospital. When they reached the 13th floor, they heard a commotion. "Gilderoy Ackerman, you're just a stinky butler. How dare you stop us?"

"My brother was fine the day before yesterday, but he's in hospital today. Gilderoy, what did you do to him?"

"Let us in!"

"You said that he's sleeping? Who would come to the hospital just to sleep? What's wrong with my older brother? We're his younger brothers. Don't we have the right to know?"

"Gilderoy Ackerman, who gave you the right to treat us like this?"

*Albert, Christopher, what happened?" Julian asked.

"Julian, it's good that you're back. Immediately fire this piece of shit who doesn't know his place here. We heard that Samuel was hospitalized and immediately came to visit. How dare a butler like him stop us?" Albert shouted angrily.

"What's going on?" Julian growled.

Gilderoy immediately said, "Sir, Master Samuel came to the hospital for a routine physical examination. After the examination, there was nothing wrong. Now, he is sleeping and resting in the ward. There is still

a

checkup in the afternoon, so we are staying. Master Albert and Master Christopher probably misunderstood and thought that Master Samuel was sick and that I had something to hide from them. In all honesty, I am just a mere butler. If there is really something wrong with Master Samuel's body, how could I dare to hide it from them?"

Gilderoy was the Parks family's old butler. He had always been by Samuel's side and could be considered Samuel's confidant.

He was very clear about the Parks family's situation. Julian was weak alone. It was only with Samuel's presence that Julian could barely fend off the vultures in the house. If something really happened to Samuel, said vultures would probably swarm over Julian.
