Chapter 40
Chapter 40 Julian Bringing Annalise To Jadeborough
"Dad, what's wrong?" Tony panicked when he heard the voice on the phone.
"Master Samuel, are you alright?" Gilderoy immediately rushed over to support Samuel and hung up the phone dropped to the floor.
He quickly called the family doctor. "Dr. Suller, please come quickly. Master Samuel has fainted."
Gilderoy quickly helped Samuel to the bed.
He had been working for Samuel since he was in his twenties.
Now, Samuel was old and had high blood pressure and coronary heart disease.
He was also afraid that something would happen to Samuel, so he had been living in a small guest room in Samuel's suite since a year ago,
In the middle of the night, he heard Samuel calling. Samuel sounded a little excited, so Gilderoy was concerned.
When he heard the bang outside, he was so frightened that he immediately rushed over to help Samuel up. Dr. Suller lived in the Parks' residence. When he received the call, he rushed over. After a flurry of checkups, he said anxiously, 'the agitation got to his heart and caused his blood pressure to rise, then causing him to faint. I'll get an IV for him immediately. I hope he can wake up tomorrow."
"Okay, okay," Gilderoy replied.
His phone rang. It was Tony.
Gilderoy picked up the phone and called out politely. "Sir!"
He had always addressed Samuel as Master Samuel and Tony, just sir.
"What happened to my dad?" Tony asked.
Gilderoy's eyes flickered violently. He sighed and advised in the tone of an elder, "Sir, Master Samuel is old. No matter what, he's an elder. Please keep that in mind..."
Tony's voice sank. "I'm asking you, what happened to my father?"
Gilderoy said, "Nothing much. He was just so angry that he threw a cup on the ground."
"Really?" Tony didn't quite believe it.
"It's true. He's lying in bed and sulking, Sigh!" Gilderoy said very seriously.
Tony was skeptical. "Is my father really fine? He didn't fall?"
"No. You're his only son. If he did fall, how can I not tell you?" Gilderoy said.
"You wouldn't dare lie to me." Tony hung up.
At six o'clock the next morning.
Samuel still did not wake up. Gilderoy became even more anxious and asked Dr. Suller, 'Doctor, when will Master Samuel wake up?"
Dr. Suller was the Parks family's family doctor. He was also anxious. If anything happened to Samuel, his job would be over.
Ever since he came over to put Samuel on an IV drip, he did not even dare to close his eyes and had been. guarding the old man.
He looked at the IV drip with a grave expression and took Samuel's pulse. He rolled his eyes and sighed. "I don't know when he'll wake up either. Master Samuel was really angry and that caused him to faint. The blood test results are out. It's still the same as before. Old people's common illnesses. High blood pressure, and coronary heart disease. Gilderoy, it's dawn now. Why don't we send Samuel to the hospital for a thorough checkup? After all, my equipment is limited. I'm afraid that if there's any problem, we won't be able to find out."
Gilderoy's expression was unprecedentedly solemn. He said, "Master Samuel was just getting too agitated. It's not a big problem. There's no need to go that far."
"But..." Dr. Suller frowned.
He was afraid that something would happen still
"Let's wait and see. If he doesn't wake up tonight, we'll send him to the hospital. Dr. Suller, I'm doing this for your own good" Gilderoy said.
"Thank you, Gilderoy. Dr. Suller immediately thanked him.
Indeed, if Dr. Suller sent Samuel to the hospital then, it would definitely alarm the people in the house. At that time, they would then despise him for not being able to treat such a minor condition. "Dr. Suller, please wait for a while. I'm old and can't stay up anymore. I'll take a nap for half an hour," Gilderoy
said.
"Okay, okay," Dr. Suller agreed.
Gilderoy went to the inner room.
As soon as he closed the door, he immediately lowered his voice and called Julian.
At six in the morning, Julian was about to get up when he received a call from Gilderoy. His first reaction was that something had happened to Samuel.
He immediately picked up the phone with a solemn expression. "Gilderoy, is something wrong with grandpa?"
Gilderoy was a person who knew his limits. If it wasn't something important, Gilderoy wouldn't have called him so early.
"Sir, last night, after Master Samuel received a call from your father, he fainted from anger. Dr. Suller stayed up all night and your grandfather didn't wake up. We have to send Samuel to the hospital today, but I'm afraid that if this matter blows up, Albert and Christopher will make a move," Gilderoy said solemnly.
"Send grandpa to the hospital immediately. I'll rush back immediately." Julian quickly put on his clothes.
"But..."
Gilderoy wanted to say something, but Julian interrupted him. "Send grandpa to the hospital immediately and keep an eye on him. No one is allowed to approach him until I return."
"Yes, sir!" Gilderoy immediately perked up at Julian's orders and replied firmly.
After Julian hung up, he immediately called Annalise.
Annalise was still sleeping. When she heard the phone ring, she reached for the phone on the bedside table Without looking at the caller ID, she picked up the phone lazily. "Hello..."
"Annie, I have a favor to ask. Grandpa has a problem. Please look after him for me." Julian immediately got to the point.
Annalise suddenly sat up and was wide awake. "Where's your grandpa? What happened to him? Has he been sent to the hospital? What did the doctor say?"
Knowing that Samuel was in trouble, she didn't hide the fact that she knew medicine.
"He's currently at Jadeborough. Last night, he fainted from anger because of my father. The family doctor put him on a drip and he hasn't woken up yet. He's preparing to be sent to the hospital immediately," Julian said.
"Then send him to the hospital first. Should we head over immediately?" Annalise took the initiative to ask.
The hospital in Jadeborough could definitely treat a heart attack.
She was afraid that Old Mr. Parks's condition would cause other illnesses.
Whenever she thought of the teachings that Old Mr. Parks had told her in the study, she wished she could immediately appear beside Old Mr. Parks and check if he was alright.
"Yes, we'll head over immediately." When Julian heard Annalise's words, his heart warmed.
"How about this? Send me your identity information and I'll book the nearest flight. Then, we'll each rush to the airport and meet there," Annalise said.
"Alright, I'll send you the information. Then, I'll come and pick you up immediately," Julian said.
"Alright, let's do it that way." Annalise hung up.
After hanging up the phone, she immediately opened the wardrobe and pulled out a small suitcase from the pile of clothes. She opened it and checked the tools inside.
After confirming that the medical bag was complete, she packed some clothes into her suitcase.
After receiving Julian's information, she immediately booked a ticket and freshened up.
Once she was done, she immediately dragged her suitcase down.
After a while, Julian drove over.
"Why are you here?" Julian immediately got out of the car, took Annalise's suitcase, and stuffed it into the trunk.
