Chapter 726
Sophia's blanket had been changed, and all the equipment in the room had been moved away. One could tell that the room had been cleaned.
Jasper followed behind Sophia slowly and said, "Do you like it? If you don't, I'll change it for you. Ruby chose the color for you."
In the afternoon, Jasper and Ruby changed the color of the bedsheets for Sophia. They were light green and represented vitality.
Ruby said that it represented a new beginning.
Sophia glanced at the light green four-piece set. She bent down and reached out to touch it. It feels comfortable and soft. She said, "It's beautiful. Jasper, Ruby, thank you."
"It's good that you like it. These are a few new clothes Jasper and I bought for you when we went to buy blankets this afternoon. Try them on and see if they suit you," Ruby said.
After that, Ruby turned around and took the shopping bags from the sofa. Seeing that Sophia was trying on clothes, Jasper tactfully went out. Before he went out, he pinched Sophia's cheek dotingly. She was so thin that her cheeks were not as chubby as before. His heart ached slightly.
"I'm going to the study. Send me a message if you need anything," Jasper said. He didn't want Sophia to run around.
As soon as he stepped out of the door, he bumped into Olivia, who had just come out. She was holding a pillow in her arms. It was the cute doll that Ava had given her. Jasper pressed his palm against her forehead and said, "Slow down."
Olivia glanced inside and realized her parents were no longer in the room. She asked, "Oh, I'll sleep with Sophia tonight. Where are mom and dad? Are they downstairs?"
Jasper was afraid that his two sisters would chat too late. Sophia needed to recuperate now and could not sleep late. "Okay, sleep early. Sophia can't stay up late."
Olivia nodded and patted her chest. "Got it. I won't let Sophia sleep late. I'll keep an eye on her. Don't worry, Jasper. Go ahead with your business." She waved her hand.
After giving his instructions, Jasper went to the study. He still had a video conference in the evening. He had postponed it. Olivia went into Sophia's room and placed the pillow on the bed. Then, she turned back and closed the door without locking it.
Sophia was wearing an irregular pale pink sweater and a pair of pajama pants. A pair of white pants was still placed on the blanket. It should be a set.
"Hmm, not bad. Not bad. Sophia, why don't you change your style in the future? I think you look quite feminine in this sweater. Hide the black ones in your wardrobe," Olivia said. A new life needed a new way of living.
Sophia smiled, and her smile was not very natural. She had never worn such feminine clothes before. As Olivia said, the clothes in her wardrobe were black or white or camouflaged. They were all ordinary. There were no off-shoulder or irregular clothes.
"It's alright, but it doesn't seem to match me." She felt a little awkward.
Ruby walked over and helped Sophia pull off her hair, tied into a ball shape. She used her fingers to scratch the ends of Sophia's hair and tied a new hairstyle for her. "It's quite good-looking. It's just that you're not used to wearing it. As time passes, you'll get used to it. Mom didn't wear very feminine clothes in the past. She only wore jeans and sneakers. Later on, she wore a skirt and thin shoes." She still didn't wear high heels, though.
Sophia nodded. She knew that her mother didn't wear dresses in the past. She didn't even like to carry her purses. This was what Mary told them.
Seeing that Sophia had agreed, Ruby took the clothes to wash them. She did not ask the helper to wash them. Instead, she took them to her room and prepared to do it herself. The new sheets were taken to the dry cleaning shop to be washed. Because she had paid more money, it could be done very soon.
When Ruby returned to her room, Jasper had just finished showering and came out. This was the most comfortable shower he had had in a long time. In the past, he thought Sophia might suddenly wake up, so he always finished his shower quickly.
He glanced at the clothes in Ruby's hands and asked, "Is this going to be washed?"
Ruby said gently, "Yes, I plan to wash it. Sophia said that she could give it a try."
"I'll do it." Jasper put the towel around his neck and was about to take the clothes from Ruby's hand when she rejected him. "Sit down, and I'll dry your hair for you. There aren't many clothes. It won't take long." Jasper wanted to say something, but Ruby gently patted him. In the end, Jasper could not resist her stubbornness and let her wash the clothes as he went to dry his hair himself.
One was washing clothes in the bathroom, while the other was drying his hair in the same room. And they chatted. Jasper asked Ruby to wash them in the bathroom. The bathroom was big enough, so there was no need to go to the laundry room.
The sound of the hairdryer and water flowing did not seem out of place. They were harmonious.
Ruby washed very seriously. She lowered her head and washed these clean clothes repeatedly. Jasper tilted his head to look at her side profile. Her skin was soft, to begin with, and it would turn red with a slight touch.
As she lowered her head, a strand of her hair fell. Jasper had just finished drying his hair and put the hairdryer in place. He tucked her hair behind her ear. The sudden touch made her look up and see that his hair was not completely dry. She said gently, "Blow it a little longer. It's still a little wet."
Suddenly, he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and rested his chin on her shoulder. His hands tightened. "It'll be dry when you're done. I'll stay with you."
Ruby smiled, laughing at how he was acting like a child. "How should I wash it if you hug me like this?"
Because he had been suppressing his emotions during the period and had not treated her well, he thought he must have neglected her a lot. He could not help but lean close to her neck and kiss it. "Just go on washing, and I'll continue hugging you. It won't affect you."
Ruby was silent for a while. She could tell that he was relaxed from his tone. At least he could act shamelessly now. At last, she did not push him away because she felt sorry for him. She bent down and continued washing with a smile on her lips.
Jasper was so clingy today. During the washing process, Ruby had already lost count of the times he kissed her. He kissed her frequently and non-stop, making her not be in the mood to wash clothes. However, seeing that he was in a good mood, she could not bear to stop him.
In another room, Trevon, Olivia, Sophia, and Natalie were chatting in the same room. One of the twins was lying down, and the other was sitting under the blanket. Natalie and Trevon were sitting on stools. Olivia had agreed to chat with Sophia, but in the end, she fell asleep earlier than Sophia after chatting for a while. Perhaps it was because she had been tense for so long and hadn't slept well, and she felt at ease sleeping beside Sophia.
Unknowingly, she fell asleep. Listening to the balanced breathing beside them, Trevon, Sophia, and Natalie looked at each other and smiled. Natalie's heart ached when she saw the smile on Sophia's face. Sophia had lost weight.
Sophia used to eat a lot, and her face was always chubby. Now, there was no chubbyness at all. "This child might be too tired. Sophia, if you feel unwell, you have to tell me in time."
"Mom, aren't the results of today's checkup good? I'm fine." As she spoke, afraid that her parents wouldn't believe her, Sophia stretched out her arms and moved them to show she was alright. The couple turned around at the same time and looked at each other. Trevon said in a negotiating tone, "Sophia, I want to go to a snow mountain. Are you interested in coming with me?"
Hearing this, Sophia widened her eyes and was a little stunned. She suddenly raised her voice and realized that she had been too loud. She glanced at her sleeping sister beside her and lowered her voice. "Snow mountain? Where?"
"It's overseas. Do you want to go and travel there with me?" Trevon's eyes were filled with anticipation as he looked at Sophia in a daze, afraid she would reject him.
A few seconds later, Sophia seemed to understand what her father meant. She smiled and said, "Alright, I'll go with you. Just the two of us?"
Trevon replied, "And Terrell."
"Terrell, does he want to go too? He..." Sophia swallowed the questions she wanted to ask.
"Yes, you'll know when you get there. Then I'll start making arrangements. The two of us will go out and play. We'll attend your brother's wedding when we return," Trevon said.
Regarding this matter, Sophia wanted to apologize to Ruby, but Ruby did not allow it. She only said she would be glad to have one more sister at her wedding. She knew Ruby was comforting her. "Has Jasper's wedding date been set?"
Natalie could see the guilt in
Sophia's eyes and comforted her.
So, she said, "Not yet. We're still choosing a date. Go out and play with your dad first. When the time comes, we'll inform you to come back. Perhaps the date we choose will be when you come back. I won't go with you. Your grandfather's legs aren't good. I have to stay at home and watch over him. Jasper and Ruby have to go to work. I will be a family doctor at home."
Natalie and Trevon stayed in their daughter's room for a while and were about to leave. Trevon stood up and patted Sophia's head. "Go to sleep. I'm leaving." "Dad, Mom, good night," Sophia said.
"Good night. Sweet dreams. Don't think about anything else. We agreed this afternoon, understand?" Natalie touched Sophia's face and said with a smile.
Sophia nodded and smiled. "Okay."
After leaving Sophia's room, Trevon called Terrell and asked him to make arrangements. The time was set on January 20th. He planned to wait for Sophia to recover for a few days and for Olivia to go to school.
"Bring more bodyguards over. Didn't

Joseph say that's where the wild beasts appear? Our goal is to empty Sophia's mind and add new memories. We're not risking our lives," Natalie said. She was still a little worried. She had never experienced the thrill of wilderness survival, but in the afternoon, she read news about many fans of wild adventures online. It looked a little dangerous.
Trevon put his arm around Natalie's shoulder and entered the house. "Don't worry. Terrell stayed there alone for three months back then. We'll bring ten bodyguards with us. We'll be very safe."
Early the next morning.
Sophia woke up early and slept well the entire night. Little did she know that Natalie had added sleeping pills to her milk. Natalie was afraid that Sophia would have nightmares and wanted her to sleep peacefully for a
few days to recover.
In the dining room, the family sat together to have breakfast. It had been a long time since such a gathering had taken place.
Sophia asked Olivia, "Why don't you sleep a little longer?"
"How come I fell asleep last night? Weren't we chatting?" Olivia had forgotten how she fell asleep. She just suddenly fell asleep while chatting.
Sophia said, "I fell asleep, too. Grandpa, do you want this? I'll get it for you."
Caleb waved his hand. "Leave it there. I will take it myself. Are you feeling better?"
Although he said that, Sophia still helped Caleb bring breakfast and placed it on his plate. She even asked Caleb if he wanted to drink milk. Caleb waved his hand to indicate that he didn't want it.
After helping Caleb prepare breakfast, Sophia smiled and replied, "Grandpa, I'm fine. Look, I'm revived."
Trevon suddenly said in a deep voice, "I'm preparing to go on a trip with Sophia in a few days. You can arrange the company matters. Terrell will also go out with us."
Ruby turned around and looked at Jasper. She did not say anything. She did not know what Trevon and Sophia were going to do. As a junior, it was inappropriate for her to ask too many questions. She only
ate quietly.
Jasper nodded. He knew what his father was thinking. If Terrell left, he would be even busier. "Okay, got it. Have fun."
The last sentence was directed at Sophia. Sophia nodded. She was afraid that Jasper would be too busy. "Dad, if..."
"You think I can't make it?" Jasper asked with a smile.
Sophia shook her head.
"Then, have fun," Jasper said.
"Okay." Sophia nodded.
Caleb and Rachel did not stop their son's arrangements. They only nodded and did not object.
