True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2213

Sylvia could feel her heart beating wildly after Kendrix kept staring at her. She felt her heart about to jump out of her throat.

However, apart from the surging look in his eyes, he still seemed calm.

Sylvia knew from the bottom of her heart that she was no match for Kendrix.

"I am not afraid that you will hurt me. I know that you won't," Sylvia said in a confident tone.

However, Kendrix was still suspicious of his own character.

To be honest, he did have the urge to commit a crime to an underaged girl, and that urge was causing his rationale to go out of control. He was afraid that he would not be able to control his own actions. However, Kendrix knew he couldn't do it.

He pursed his lips, and the surging light in his eyes finally dimmed after a while. Soon, he finally calmed down.

He could not let a girl who trusted him so much suffer any harm. Otherwise, he would really not be worthy of her love.

Kendrix stroked Sylvia's hair and muttered softly, "Close your eyes and don't talk."

"Oh okay," Sylvia still wanted to say something, but when she saw how tired he looked, she could only nod. She did not dare to say anything else.

Kendrix looked very tired. If she insisted on talking, it would probably make him feel even more tired.

She closed her eyes obediently and snuggled in his arms. She was so excited that she could not sleep at all.

However, she still did not open her eyes for she was worried that he would not be able to sleep well.

Sylvia kept her eyes closed the entire time. She did not know that Kendrix had opened his eyes silently and was staring at her with a gentle smile on his face.

Sylvia was tightly tucked away in his arms as though she was a cute little kitten. His heart skipped a beat upon gazing at her delicate yet gorgeous features.

Kendrix felt extremely happy and satisfied to be with her. Perhaps it was because he had been too lonely. Now that he had met a girl who was willing to accompany him, he was immediately filled with joy. Sylvia was really too nice to him.

Kendrix was greatly touched.

He stared at the girl in front of him. Even though her eyes were closed, her eyelids were still fluttering. It was obvious that she did not have any intentions to sleep because she was too nervous.

Kendrix also felt a little bit amused. He sighed silently.

Perhaps he was the one who had not thought it through.

Kendrix had only wanted Sylvia to stay with him for a while. However, he did not expect that it'd be so stimulating for the two of them to lay on the same bed. It was natural for a young girl like her to be nervous and on edge.

Meanwhile, Sylvia could hear his sigh.

She immediately opened her eyes subconsciously, her bright and clear gaze making contact with Kendrix's deep gaze.

For a brief moment, Kendrix could feel his emotions on the verge of breaking out.

Sylvia could not help but purse her lips. Her anxiety made her lick her lips as well.

Kendrix looked at her pink lips and raised his eyebrows. His gaze sank.

Sylvia noticed that there was something wrong with Kendrix's gaze. Not only was he staring hard at her, he was even looking at her covetously.

She immediately realized that there was a change in the atmosphere and her whole body tensed up. She could only stammer, "Kendrix... You-!"

Before she could finish her words, Kendrix had sealed her lips with his.

The sweet and delicious taste of her lips made it impossible for him to control himself.

This was indeed the true testament of a man's willpower.

Sylvia wanted to push him away. She was worried that they wouldn't be able to stop what was about to happen since the two of them were laying on the same bed. However, when she thought of how tired he was as well as his bloodshot eyes, Sylvia couldn't find the heart in her to reject his advances.

Meanwhile, Kendrix wasn't hesitating at all.

Sylvia's lips tasted like morning dew. It was fresh and crisp, and just one bite made him lose all rationale. He wanted to continue.

Under such a situation, Sylvia found it hard to restrain him. She could even feel a sense of danger coming from Kendrix.

Despite all that, Sylvia still thought that Kendrix would not hurt her for she still believed that he was a reasonable man. Besides, she trusted her own intuition and taste in men.

Sure enough, the most Kendrix did to her was kiss her. He did not go any further.

He placed some distance between them with his forehead still pressing against hers. His breathing was unstable as he whispered, "Sorry. I could not control myself." "Haha!" Sylvia couldn't help but chuckle softly.

"What are you laughing at?" Kendrix's voice was hoarse. It seemed like he was in a good mood.

"I just feel a little proud that I'm charismatic enough to attract you," Sylvia giggled. Her eyes were red as she said these.

"Yes. You are quite attractive," Kendrix admitted frankly.

"How about you? Are you still able?" Sylvia asked worriedly.

Kendrix frowned, and a dangerous aura immediately emanated from his body. He spoke in a low and hoarse voice, "Sylvia, don't ever talk to a man like this."

Sylvia was stunned. She wanted to ask why, but she instantly blushed upon thinking of the reason.

"Oh, I understand."

"Good girl," Kendrix knew that she understood. He smiled, his forehead still pressed closely against hers.

"You... Are you really going to sleep like this?" Sylvia was somewhat worried.

Even though she had no experience in this, she could detect the tense atmosphere between them. With a simple trigger, Kendrix could easily lose all reason.

"Well then, if you can't sleep, what are you going to do?" Kendrix asked softly.

The more she listened to his hoarse voice, the hotter Sylvia felt.

She was now looking at Kendrix in a new light. For now, she could only stare at him with a sparkling yet hopeful gleam.

He was so good-looking that she was about to lose control.

"I don't know what to do," Sylvia turned her eyes away. She did not dare to look at Kendrix's face and muttered, "Hurry up and sleep. If you won't let me go, I will go outside, okay?"

Kendrix sighed, "I am afraid that if you go outside, it'll be even more unlikely for me to fall asleep."

"What?" Sylvia's eyes widened in shock. Just how did he sleep in the past when she was not there?

She did not expect his romantic words to make her blush.

Sylvia felt greatly embarrassed and her ears turned red. She lowered her gaze, afraid to look directly into his eyes.

Kendrix just looked at her face quietly and chuckled. Sylvia didn't know what to do upon hearing his deep chuckle.

She knew that if this went on, they would not get any sleep at all. They would just be staring at each other until the break of dawn.

"Are you going to sleep or not?" She muttered. There was a hint of coquetry in her voice.

Kendrix laughed, then sighed helplessly again. In the end, she was still just a little girl.

No matter how impatient he was, he still needed to wait.

He nodded and told Sylvia, "I need to sleep, so let's sleep now."

"Okay," Sylvia finally heaved a sigh of relief. She was worried that he would not close his eyes and decided to add, "Then you should hurry up and close your eyes." Kendrix did not listen to her. Instead, he continued to stare at her face.

Left with no other choice, Sylvia

could only turn around and stare back. Yet, she felt slightly

uncomfortable once she noticed his intense gaze. She immediately

covered his eyes with her hands.

Once Sylvia placed her palm over his eyes, Kendrix could feel his fatigue and soreness fading away.

He laughed and suggested, "Help me rub my eyes. They feel slightly dry."

"Well then close your eyes and relax.

I will give you a massage so that you can sleep better," Sylvia quickly said. She helped to gently rub his eyelids in an attempt to help him feel better. en.swhovels.net

She could feel his eyes under her palms.

This was a side effect of staying up late.

She had felt these symptoms before. If she slept late or read for too long, her eyes would feel dry and sore, and her vision would be affected greatly.

She rubbed Kendrix's eyes gently and smoothed his knitted eyebrows, trying to smoother, the wrinkles in between his eyebrows.

Kendrix thought that he could not sleep soundly in this situation. However, when Sylvia continued to caress his weary eyes gently, he slowly relaxed and dozed off under her touch. Gradually, his breathing grew a lot steadier.

Then, he fell asleep.

Sylvia looked at him and heaved a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, he had really fallen asleep. If he didn't, he would definitely have health problems.

She continued to rub Kendrix's eyebrows and eyelids gently.

Kendrix was completely asleep and had relaxed completely. However, his arms were still tightly wrapped around her waist.

Sylvia felt somewhat surprised. She did not expect Kendrix to be so clingy, and it was somewhat adorable.

After giving him a massage for half

an hour, Sylvia determined that Kendrix was probably sound asleep. Meanwhile, it felt like torture just laying beside him without sleeping. She didn't dare move in fear that he would wake up, so she tried to silently sit up.

However, just a slight movement made him tighten his grip around her unconsciously. Once that happened, Sylvia no longer dared to move a muscle.

She was afraid that Kendrix would wake up after he had just fallen asleep.

With that, she just stared at Kendrix's eyes and eyebrows. She tried to carve his handsome face into the depths of her mind bit by bit so that she would never forget his face.
