Triplets on Secret Mission

Chapter 46

Chapter 46 Diana intentionally pinched Adam's arm a little, but she quickly let him go and acted as if nothing had happened.

Adam frowned in pain as he looked toward Diana. He pursed his lips, and he looked rather upset at her. However, it only lasted for a brief second. He seemed to just notice that Diana had just cried and knew that it was not the best time to argue with her. Besides, Molly was present.

He pretentiously showed concern. "Why were you crying? It'll be fine, and don't worry, Mr. May Sr. is a good person, so good will follow him. He'll be alright." He patted Diana's shoulder gently as he spoke, but his eyes lingered on Molly. His true intentions were obvious!

Molly did not spare him a glance.

And Diana was gritting her teeth as she cursed Molly in her head! 'Since you've already left the May family, why did you come back? The May family doesn't welcome you either. You changed a lot, and all you know now is seduce men.'

Diana could not stand it and act pitifully by saying, "It seems like grandpa really doesn't like me. I should come back less often next time. Molly, grandpa is getting old. Since you've come back from overseas, why don't you move back into the May Residence? That way, grandpa wouldn't have to wear himself out by moving around. If you don't want to see me, I won't show up in front of you as well. Don't worry." Though Diana sounded like she was sad and compromising, her words had a deeper meaning to them--

Diana was taking one step back to take two steps forward, which was her favorite tactic. She would appear weak and put herself on the weaker side. But she would indirectly criticize Molly for being petty and narrow-minded, a person who would do anything to achieve her own goal, tormenting Grandpa Dave without taking his health into consideration.

She was a skilled schemer!

Lara was immediately reminded of the shares that were going to be under Molly's name, so she said, "Diana, the May Residence is still your home. Just come whenever you feel like it. You can even stay with us! You're my daughter, and anyone who wants to chase you out has to go through me!

"Besides, the May family would never have such an evil daughter! But I want to make this clear to you, Molly. You have no right to get those shares. Those are your grandfather's blood, sweat, and tears. Do you think you deserve it? No matter what happens today, you'll have to return us everything!" Lara was firm as she cut to the chase. "Pfft!" Molly scoffed while sitting next to Grandpa Dave's bed. Her frame was frail, and she looked incredibly thin. But still, she sat upright, and her whole presence was strong. "What if I don't?"

"If you don't, you won't be leaving this place today!" Lara was dead serious.

The atmosphere in the room got tense, and the conflicts arose.

At that moment, Walter spoke, "Your brother and I have been the ones managing the company these years. You, on the other hand, contribute nothing, so you have no right to those shares. On top of that, you're a girl. What's the use of owning so many shares? Even if you enter the company, no one will know you."

He switched the topic and continued, "However, I could give you a million dollars in cash since you've been raising your children alone. It'll be enough for you, so I hope you can let go of the shares." If Molly was not familiar with them, she might really believe that they have "good intentions."
