The blue keeps me from seeing red and helps me find reason.

The air forced back into my lungs lets me breathe,

even when I’ve forgotten how.

It’s a place where pain can be numbed and

my memories of you can stay frozen in pseudo-eternity.

It’s a place where I can love you freely;

its winds hug me in place of you.
