Do you know that I unconsciously open your letters to me on nights when my mind is vulnerable to my heart? These were the days when I would catch myself being reminded of what we once had. The streets we walked in, the paper cranes I secretly made behind your back, and sometimes, even just someone zippering their envelopes in the office, were enough to send me back on memory lane.

On some nights, I just could not help but drift back to you, because you were my biggest regret, biggest sorrow and loss. I don’t know when I could start to forget. The pain still keeps eating me away, but I told myself, it’s okay. It will get better one day.
