Trapped in Love

Chapter 741

Chapter 741 Treating the Gravekeeper as a Doctor
Sophia told him straightforwardly that Liora could see ghosts!
Evan looked at the drawings in his hand once more with a tense expression, muttering. “These people can’t even help a child
properly!”
Evan crumpled the drawings in frustration and headed to the living room
As he entered through the backdoor, Liora’s voice reached his ears.
Liora asked, “What’s a camellia? I know about lilies.
“I see. Why do you want it?
“I don’t understand what you’re saying, but I can ask Tyler for money to get it for you.
“The graveyard? No, I won’t go to that scary place!”
Evan felt rooted to the spot after hearing Liora’s words. He watched her talking to herself on the sofa with
astonishment, and an ominous feeling crept over him. He recalled Sophia’s warning.
After a moment of contemplation, Evan walked toward Liora with a troubled expression.
When the female ghost saw Evan approaching, she floated away from Liora.
Liora noticed and said, “You’re scaring her! She floated away...”
Evan followed Liora’s gaze but couldn’t see anything. He clenched his fists and asked, “Lia, tell me the
truth. Who is she?”
Confused, Liora replied, “She told me her name is Flowy...”
Evan gnashed his teeth in exasperation. “What does she look like?”
“She has a very fair complexion, as fair as paper,” Liora swiftly answered.

Evan asked, “What does she want from you?”
“Camellias! Lilies! She said she misses the scent of flowers!” Liora answered.
Suddenly, Liora reached for her amulet inside her collar as if recalling something. “She said she is afraid
of this, so she stays away from me.”
The gravekeeper came to Evan’s mind when he saw the amulet. He wondered, “Could there really be
ghosts in this world? It was beyond his comprehension.

Evan stared at Liora’s amulet for a while before looking away and instructing, “Go upstairs to your
brothers, Lia.”
“Sure,” Liora complied and headed upstairs.
Evan glanced in the direction Liora had been staring earlier, then picked up his phone to call Kenny, his
expression grave.
Kenny picked up after a moment. “Do you have something important to discuss at this late hour, Mr.
Jordan?” he asked.
Evan didn’t want to argue with Kenny and got straight to the point. “How much do you know about Lia’s
condition?”
“Lia? What happened to her?” Kenny became attentive.
Evan proceeded to explain today’s incident to Kenny, who reacted with frustration. “Darn it! It’s happening
again!”
Evan asked, “What do you mean?”

Kenny shared the details of Liora’s previous fever incident and her meeting with the gravekeeper. “You should take Lia to the
gravekeeper. He can handle it but don’t delay any longer. Is Lia running a fever?”
Evan confirmed, “Yes. Even the doctor couldn’t resolve it. You’re treating the gravekeeper like a doctor!”
Kenny urged, “Why are you so stubborn? Lia is the priority now!”
Evan couldn’t contain his anger. “This is absolute nonsense! I suspect you’ve influenced Lia to become
like this!”
Kenny retorted, “For heaven’s sake! If you continue to be stubborn, G is going to be furious with you when
she finds out about this upon her return!”
