Chapter 592
Chapter 592 I’ll Wait for You
Caroline took her medicine with a sip of water.
Kenny held the glass and took Tyler outside, leaving Evan with a warning glance that went unnoticed.
Caroline massaged her forehead and said. “I’m okay. You can go home.”
Evan leaned forward, concerned. “Why do you have a fever? I’ll check your wound for infection.”
Caroline dodged his approach. “Eira changed my dressing this morning. There’s no infection. I might have
caught a cold.”
Evan’s expression turned serious. “Why expose yourself to the cold in this weather?”
Caroline slowly reclined against the headboard. “I saw MK’s official announcement.”
Evan’s gaze dimmed. “It’s none of your business. You should rest.”
Caroline decided to confide in Evan. “I need to tell you something.”
Evan tucked her in and replied, “I know you’re involved with Casey against your will.
Caroline looked at him in surprise.
“You want to know how I figured that out, right? I’m not stupid,” Evan grumbled.
Caroline stayed silent for a moment. “Aren’t you going to ask why?”
“If you want to tell me, you will. Why should I ask?” Evan said.
Caroline clutched her blanket. “So, you don’t doubt me anymore?”
Evan assured, “I’ve said I won’t easily doubt you.”
“Will Casey joining the company affect you?” Caroline asked.
Evan scoffed. “He can’t cause much trouble. Rest and recover. I handle this.”
I
“Sorry I can’t tell you the reason for now,” Caroline said guiltily.
Evan replied casually, “Take your time, I’ll wait.”
“About Axel, it was my fault for not noticing his condition earlier, Caroline said hoarsely.
Evan smiled. “It’s okay. Rest well I have to go to the construction site.”
Caroline nodded. “Okay.”

After Evan left, Caroline lay in bed, feeling a bit relieved after apologizing to him. She always admitted her
mistakes.
That night at Jordan Residence.
Casey joined Draco for dinner but kept scratching his chest throughout the meal. Draco was concerned
but didn’t reveal the truth.
Softly, Draco asked, “Casey, is your allergy medicine not working?”
Casey frowned. “It’s not working. It itches and hurts.”
Draco said, “I’ll call the doctor to give you an injection, alright?”
Casey nodded, put down his utensils, and said, “I’m not hungry, Father. I’m going to my room.” 1
Draco watched Casey leave with pity and soon called the doctor to visit.
Casey took off his shirt in the bedroom and went into the bathroom. As he looked at the spreading rashes in the mirror, the
darkness in his eyes grew intense.
He clenched his fist and punched the mirror, causing his hand to bleed. However, the terrifying rashes on his chest remained
unchanged.
Casey calmed himself and thought about his allergic reaction to his regular diet. After a moment, Daniella
came to his mind.
