Chapter 509
Chapter 509 Give Birth Again
Axel refused to let his father send Daniella away, especially with his upcoming surgery looming. He struggled to suppress the
nausea rising in his throat.
Only when he heard Evan’s voice did Axel’s body finally relax.
“Come in, Evan invited Daniella,
Daniella nodded and entered the room with Evan, feigning sadness when she saw Axel curled up on the bed.
“Is Axel not awake at this time?” she asked.
Evan glanced at Axel’s back, hesitated briefly, and replied, “No, he’s still asleep.”
“May I come closer to check on him?” Daniella asked.
Axel clutched the blanket even tighter.
“No, please stay here and leave whenever you want,” Evan said,
Daniella waved her hand hastily. I’ll be fine. I sit here until he wakes up
Axel’s heart sank. ‘I thought she was just going to drop by briefly. How long can I pretend to be asleep? I
want to eat breakfast and gather energy for the day,’ he thought.
Bracing himself, Axel turned over and opened his eyes as if he had just woken up. He looked at Evan,
controlled his emotions, and called out, “Daddy.”
Evan’s gaze softened. “You’re awake. The nanny just sent over some food. Would you like to eat?”
Axel nodded. I’d like to use the restroom first.”
*Let me assist you, Axel. You’ve been through a lot battling this illness,” Daniella offered, her eyes teary as
she looked at Axel.
Axel briefly made eye contact with Daniella before lowering his head and saying, “Aunt Daniella.”
Daniella discreetly pursed her lips. Axel sure changes addresses quickly.”
Despite this, she maintained a gentle smile. “Let’s go to the restroom.”
Axel didn’t object but walked rigidly as Daniella led him to the restroom.
Daniella attempted to follow Axel into the stall, but Evan intervened. “You’re not Axel’s mother. You don’t

Daniella’s expression froze. I wouldn’t be following Axel to the toilet if I weren’t trying to show my care!”
She carefully closed the stall door for Axel and then turned to Evan, speaking softly. “Alright”
Meanwhile, at Bayview Villa.
Liora and Tyler woke Caroline after their morning exercise. Liora knocked on the door. “Can I come in, Mommy?”
Caroline sat up, still half asleep. “Of course, come in.”
Liora and Tyler entered the room and were concerned when they saw Caroline’s tired expression.
Liora approached Caroline and examined her cheek. “Does it still hurt, Mommy?”
Caroline lifted Liora onto the bed with a smile and gestured for Tyler to join them. The two children sat
across from Caroline
Tyler reached out and gently touched Caroline’s cheek. Anger filled his eyes as he said, “That old man is
awful, Mommy!”
Caroline held the children’s hands tenderly, “I’m fine now. I feel better.”
Liora suggested, “Mommy, maybe you should learn martial arts from Eira to defend yourself when you’re
in danger!”
Liora even demonstrated a stance.
“Silly girl, what kind of technique is that?” Tyler teased.
“It’s a non–material heritage technique, one I created” Liora proudly declared.
Tyler said bluntly, “That sounds pretty useless.”
“Hey! Don’t act like you’re so skilled! Who lost to me during our spar this morning?”
“I just didn’t want to hurt your feelings,” Tyler retorted.
Unable to win the argument, Liora turned to Caroline and joked, “Mommy, can you put Tyler back in your
belly and give birth to him again?”
