Trapped I can't escape from the Billionaire

Chapter 242

Letta then let out a long sigh as she ended the call with her husband, causing Arabella to look at her with raised eyebrows. "Why? Is he suspicious?" Arabella asked, making Letta shake her head.

"I don't know, you know, that Marco's instincts are sometimes stronger than most people. Even though I explained that I came here to accompany you, he still won't stay quiet," Letta said, making Arabella look around. "Don't worry, I've instructed the guards to monitor the movements of anyone suspicious. Marco definitely won't stay quiet. He'll surely have someone watching us. Fortunately, you were honest when you said we were at the hospital. Otherwise, he would have been very suspicious," Arabella said, making Letta nod her head. Their conversation stopped when a nurse approached them.

'I'm sorry, the characteristics you mentioned weren't very specific. So we're having a little trouble finding a patient like that, but to make sure with the symptoms you just mentioned, you can see them directly in the room we specifically allocated for patients as you described earlier," the nurse said, making Letta glance at Arabella for a moment.

"What do you think? Should we look at each one? Will we have enough time?" Letta asked, making Arabella pause for a moment.

"In that case, we'll do it quickly. You still remember his face, right?" Arabella asked, making Letta nod her head.

"Alright, then are there a few rooms we need to check?" Arabella asked, looking at the nurse.

"Not many, just 13 rooms," the nurse said, making Arabella get up from her seat.

"Okay, then show us where the corridor is," Arabella said, making the nurse finally nod. After that, she led them to the floor where the place they had to check was, where Letta was looking for the middle-aged woman who had almost harmed her.

Arabella and Letta looked into each room one by one. Some of the patients were with their families, but Letta and Arabella didn't want to take any risks as they were already breaking hospital rules. With a little help from the nurse and a reward from Arabella, they were at least able to catch a glimpse of the patients' faces briefly.

They were in room number 7, but Letta still hadn't found the face she was looking for.

"How is it? Are you sure you didn't forget his face?" Arabella asked again, making Letta nod her head.

"Yes, I'm sure. There are still a few rooms left. Maybe he's in another room," Letta replied, making Arabella nod her head. They continued walking and looking into the rooms, but until the last room, Letta and Arabella didn't get the results they wanted.

"Could he have already left this hospital?" Arabella asked again, making Letta shake her head.

"I don't know," Letta replied, making the nurse approach them.

"I'm sorry, because the characteristics are also very unclear, I can't show you more than this," the nurse said.

"What if we look at the CCTV? You remember, right, the date when you were attacked by that patient?" Arabella asked, making Letta nod her head, but the nurse immediately shook her head.

"Beyond that, I can't help because checking the CCTV requires someone of a higher rank than me. I can't help you with that," the nurse said, making Letta look at Arabella with a sad look.

"I think I have to give an even bigger reward to someone of higher rank," Arabella said, making the nurse just smile.

"There won't be enough time. Marco will soon come to pick me up at your boutique. He'll definitely be suspicious," Letta said, making Arabella let out a long sigh.

"Alright, then let's end the search for today. We'll continue after I come back from Paris," Arabella said, making Letta shake her head.

"That's too long. I can't do it without you," Letta said, making Arabella really just rub her face roughly.

"Oh come on, I don't know what kindness you did before that allowed you to hypnotize me like this. We've just met and you've brought us this close. I can't believe I'm willing to help you this much. Oh, God," Arabella said, making Letta grimace.

"Alright, then, tomorrow or the day after, I'll make time to help you again. For today, let's finish. Besides, I don't want to make my husband suspicious, right?" Arabella said, making Letta nod her head. They then walked back to Arabella's boutique, after Arabella emphasized to the nurse not to leak any information about what they had done so far.

They then passed through the hospital corridor, but Letta's steps stopped when she almost lost her own life, when the middle-aged woman really choked her.

"Why did you stop?" Arabella asked.

"In this waiting room, she attacked me," Letta replied, making Arabella look around. There were several CCTV cameras there. If only they could access and view the CCTV footage, it would be easy to find out the woman Letta was looking for. But unfortunately, they didn't have much time.

"Well, let's forget that bad memory. Otherwise, your head will start hurting again. At least we can come back another day," Arabella said, making Letta want to leave, but Letta widened her eyes.

"I know a nurse around here. She must know about that woman because she saw me and the patient. If we ask her, she'll know whether the patient is still here or not," Letta said, making Arabella go silent.

"So we have to find a nurse who works here with the characteristics you mentioned, and that's not helpful, Letta," Arabella said again.

"Perhaps she's around this corridor. We can look for her for a few minutes, so it won't take long," Letta said, making Arabella about to open her mouth.

Suddenly, Letta ran to ask someone in front of her. Whatever she was going to mention, Letta searched for the characteristics of a nurse who dressed almost the same in each corridor, until Letta's steps stopped when she saw a nurse walking towards her, making Arabella just stare from a distance, seeing Letta as she ran towards the nurse.

"Do you remember me?" Letta said sincerely, making the nurse furrow her brow.

"Sorry, were you one of the patients here or maybe have been treated by me? Can I help you?" the nurse asked.

"That time, I came to this hospital, and suddenly there was a middle-aged female patient who tried to choke me. Do you remember her?" Letta asked again, making the nurse go silent, trying to remember the incident before widening her

eyes.

"Oh yes, remember. How are you now? Are you okay?" the nurse asked, making Letta finally smile widely, looking at Arabella. Arabella walked closer with a look from Letta that seemed to have found the nurse.

"Yes, I'm fine now. I'm just curious if that female patient is still being treated here, because I want to meet her. It seems like she's someone I know, but I only remembered her recently," Letta asked again, making the nurse go silent.

"I'm not sure, because after that incident, the woman was moved to another room. Should I check?" the nurse said, making Letta nod her head.

"I need to meet her. Thank you if you can help," Letta said, making the nurse smile, before Letta and Arabella followed the nurse's steps to check whether the woman was still in this hospital or not.
