Trapped I can't escape from the Billionaire

Chapter 217

Pedro then entered Marco's office.

"Sir," Pedro said, causing Marco to stop in his tracks.

"How is it? Did you get the results?" Marco asked, making Pedro nod.

"Yes, Sir. It's Abian, Mrs.'s former boyfriend, and last night he turned out to be one of the foundation members collaborating with Mr. Tukal. There, he works as a volunteer photographer for the foundation and teaches talented individuals in his field," Pedro said, handing over some photos of Abian in action.

"Wasn't the last time he always traveling abroad to pursue his hobby?" Marco asked, making Pedro nod.

"Yes, but since his breakup with Madam, Abian has never gone abroad. He has always been in this country," Pedro replied, making Marco clench his fists. Had Abian been searching for Letta all this time? But how could he not know that Letta was with him, Marco wondered, starting to guess what might be on Abian's mind.

"I want you to send him far away from this place," Marco said, making Pedro look at his boss in astonishment.

"Give him any job from that foundation. Give him a lot of money or anything. Give him a comfortable job, but he has to go abroad. Don't let him come back to this country," Marco said again, making Pedro fall silent, making Marco start to understand why Pedro was silent.

"Why? Is it that difficult to persuade him to leave this place?" Marco asked, making Pedro silent again.

"As far as I got the info, he even refused to be a photographer at a famous event abroad. He refused his idol's event just to stay here, so I'm not sure if I can persuade him," Pedro said again, making Marco even more determined to erase Abian from the face of the earth.

"Whatever it takes, just try it first. I hope he's enticed, or maybe you can make him feel down first. After that, we'll offer him a substantial amount of money. I'm sure he won't be able to refuse," Marco said, making Pedro nod.

"T will try whatever it takes to make Abian leave this place," Pedro said, to which Marco nodded.

"Good, I'll try to do it and will report back to you," Pedro said, making Marco fall silent for a moment.

"What about the rumors about Letta? Did the paparazzi not cause any trouble?" Marco asked, because he was afraid that there might be paparazzi who might dig into Letta's past. As Letta was now appearing in public, people must be curious about her identity, her past, and her life before meeting Marco.

"I have handled everything and not let the paparazzi release any news about Madam's past," Pedro replied, making Marco nod.

"Good, that's good. We do need to silence them before they cause trouble. I don't want Letta to have more troubled thoughts just because she's imagining how people are digging into her life," Marco said.

Marco then let out a long sigh. He didn't expect this to happen again. It had been so long since Marco gave that medicine to Letta. It seemed like he would have to meet the doctor again to ask for the medication Letta needed to suppress her memories from resurfacing. But what Marco had to do now was figure out how to convince Letta not to meet Abian again.

Looking at his wristwatch, Marco realized it was time to go home, and he missed his little daughter very much. After packing up his belongings, Marco left the room. This time, Marco drove his own car because he had already given Pedro a task, and he didn't want to burden any other employees.

Marco greeted some employees who were working overtime. Since he had Freya, Marco rarely worked overtime at the office. He always went home on time to meet his little daughter. It felt regrettable to Marco when he had to sacrifice time to spend with his little girl.

Marco then got into his beloved black car and drove it slowly. One thing Marco hated about leaving on time was the heavily congested roads. People were getting ready to go home. Marco had to be a little more patient in driving his car. As he remained silent, Marco pondered why Abian had to appear in the middle of their lives after all this time. Did God's will want Letta to regain her memory by bringing back one by one the people who were once part of Letta's life? However, Marco immediately shook his head. Of course, he wouldn't let that happen.

Marco then glanced at his phone, where there was a picture of Freya and Letta as his main screen. Marco smiled. How could he let go of the perfect happiness he had now just because Letta remembered her past? Marco tightened his grip on the steering wheel.

Marco was lost in thoughts about how he could be so cruel to Letta and do terrible things to her. If only he had realized his attraction to Letta earlier, it would never have happened. He would never have hurt his wife. At that time, Marco seemed to have a high ego. His love for Letta was overshadowed by the pain of losing the child Letta was carrying.

Marco didn't know why the feeling of regret always came too late. If only he could have treated Letta well and realized her feelings, this wouldn't have happened. He wouldn't have struggled to find a way to keep Letta as the person she was

now.

"I can't imagine what it would be like if Letta regained her memory. All the bad memories and all the wounds she had inflicted would surely make Letta hate me. And what about Freya? Would Letta and Freya possibly leave me?" thought Marco, clenching his jaw. He honked his car horn where the car in front of him wasn't moving, and that only made the anger within him intensify.
