Trapped I can't escape from the Billionaire

Chapter 123

Letta and Marco were once again taken aback after being surprised with a large bouquet of flowers. For Letta, several shopping items with the same brand that Letta had just bought along with Marco at the shopping center were now at the front door. This made Letta look up at Marco, who was now clenching his jaw, gazing at the items. Eventually, Marco turned to Desi and some servants who were now bowing before them.

"Tell me, who else sent these items?" Marco asked with a cold aura, making Letta inexplicably feel that something was definitely going to happen today.

"We already declined it, Sir, because the delivery courier also didn't know who sent it. But they also didn't want to take the risk of taking back the goods that were already in their possession,” Desi said, causing Marco to slowly walk towards the items in front of him. He looked into the bags containing several complete-looking clothes and shoes. After that, he glanced at the shopping items still in the hands of the guards that Marco and Letta had just bought.

"Burn all these items," Marco said, making Letta widen her eyes. Letta immediately walked towards Marco, then looked at the items. She was sure that if sold, these items could probably feed dozens of people. "I disagree," Letta said, making Marco immediately turn to her.

"Don't burn them. It's better to donate or maybe we can sell them again, and the money can be used to help those in need," Letta said, making Marco fall silent for a moment before turning his gaze back to Desi.

"Quickly take all these items and burn everything. I don't want to see a single item left in this house from someone unclear," Marco said, making Letta widen her eyes again. Letta then pulled Marco's shoulder to make him look at her again. "Don't burn them. Maybe we can easily buy them, but there are surely many people out there who need them. Look, those are all brand new items, they can definitely be exchanged back to the store," continued Letta, making Marco exhale roughly.

"Then we have to exchange them back, then we have to give them to people out there. That's not me, Letta. So I don't want anyone to underestimate me like this. I want all those items destroyed," Marco said, prompting Letta to immediately move to take all the items. Letta didn't care if Marco might scold her, because she couldn't waste the items in front of her. Out there, people were not living comfortably, there must be many people struggling just for a meal, but Marco was so comfortable burning all these expensive items.

"I will exchange them myself at the store, or maybe I will go to an orphanage to give all these items. So you don't have to burn them," Letta said, making Desi confused about whom to follow, Marco or Letta.

"Don't make me angry, Letta. Put all those items down and quickly go to your room," Marco said, making Letta shake her head.

"No, unless you tell someone to help me donate all of this," Letta said.

"I don't want you to be so stubborn like this. Look at your current condition, not to think about others. Your current condition should be about thinking of yourself. We also don't know, maybe it's stolen or looted goods, and you want to donate them," Marco retorted.

"It doesn't matter, the one who gave them is me. Didn't that person send them for me? As long as our intentions are good, they will surely be conveyed well, right?" Letta said, seemingly still stubbornly refuting Marco, making Marco finally forcibly pull the items from Letta's hands and throw them away, causing the expensive items to scatter on the floor, making Letta look at him with an incredulous gaze.

"How could you be so stubborn? Don't you have a conscience? Maybe you can buy anything with money, but not with the people out there. Understand, I just want to share with them. If you burn all of this, I won't use the items we just bought," Letta said, making Marco unconsciously reach out and grasp Letta's shoulder tightly.

"Listen to me, Letta. Don't act childish like this. I don't like it when anyone pays attention to you besides me. I don't like it if that person is a coward. It's as if they're trying to provoke my anger, so stop conspiring with them. At least understand me," Marco said with his raised voice, leaving Letta silent and stunned.

"Just because of those items, you yelled at me," Letta said, making Marco immediately startled as if losing control because he had raised his voice at Letta. Letta then brushed off Marco's hand, causing Marco to grab her again. "Forgive me. I didn't mean to scold you. I just don't want you to think about others out there. I want you to focus on yourself and our baby," Marco said again.

"Of course, me and our baby would be happy if you could share. So stop constantly thinking about yourself and someone who underestimated you," Letta said, finally picking up the items again.

"Dispose of all those items," Marco said, causing the guards behind him to immediately take over the items that Letta was about to pick up. Letta looked at him with a questioning gaze.

"If you want to burn them, I disagree, but if you want to help me donate them to others, then I agree," Letta said, looking at the guards who were now looking at Marco.

"I don't like your attitude right now. Understand, those are items sent by an unknown person. How could you donate them? What if the items are not suitable to be given to others?" Marco said, as Letta seemed to continue picking up the items without listening, until Marco finally grabbed Letta's wrist quite firmly.

"Stop all of this. You've been rebellious enough all this time. I'm not thinking about someone underestimating me, but I'm thinking about your condition. I don't want someone else who might be targeting you and taking you away from my side," Marco said, leaving Letta stunned, looking into his eyes which for some reason felt very familiar when Marco gazed at her with such intensity. Throughout this time, she remembered Marco always looking at her with warmth, but this sharp gaze seemed to penetrate her heart.

"That's not the gaze I know. Right now, you're not the same Marco who has always treated me warmly, but your demeanor reminds me of something that makes my heart feel suffocated," Letta said, making Marco only able to tightly shut his eyes. Yes, Marco started to realize that Letta might be feeling something familiar that he had experienced before, when he hurt her, until Marco roughly rubbed his face.

"Fine then, let those who will donate it to those in need. Let's just go upstairs and rest," Marco said, finally starting to try to think rationally, although a moment ago Marco was truly disturbed emotionally, just because of that mysterious person, it seemed that Marco had to act quickly, because that person always sought Marco's weaknesses.

"You promise to donate it?" Letta asked, making Marco nod.

"Yes, I promise," and instructed the guards to tidy everything up. "You're fasting right now, it's better for us to go to the room and rest. We've been walking around a lot since earlier," Marco said, pulling Letta's shoulder, who finally slowly walked alongside Marco, occasionally glancing at the items now being taken over by Marco's guards.
