Chapter 13 Evidence of Celia’s Cheating 

“What? She turned out to be the top scorer in the province?” 

Mila’s body stiffened as she stared blankly at James, unable to utter a word in response.

Initially, she believed that Celia was just an underachieving student. Even if she investigated the grades, she could easily disprove Celia’s accomplishments. But who could have anticipated that Celia would be the top scorer in the province? 

Oh, no! 

Everything is now ruined! 

James despised those who abused their power, and unfortunately, she was one of them. 

My teaching career at Hampstead University is likely coming to an end. 

James pulled up Celia’s college entrance exam scores and turned the computer towards Mila. 

“Not only is she the top scorer in the province, but she also achieved a perfect score on the college 

entrance exam.” 

James’s voice was neither loud nor soft, but it happened to be audible to the onlookers outside the door. 

“Oh my god! Celia actually got a perfect score on the college entrance exam! Can humans achieve such results?” 

“Oh my goodness! Did I hear it correctly? Molly couldn’t even get into a vocational school with her college 

entrance exam scores?” 

“I can’t believe it! Could it be that her academic achievements as a top student were all obtained by cheating on Celia? Poor Celia!” 

“She often claims that Celia bullies her at home, but I think it’s the other way around, isn’t it?” 

“How could there be such a despicable woman? I can’t believe I used to idolise her as a goddess!” 

Molly’s face turned pale. She had thought that with Celia taking the exam for her, she would definitely be able to get into Hampstead University without even checking the score. But she never expected that Celia had intentionally left a loophole. 

No! 

I couldn’t let things unfold like this, otherwise my carefully crafted image as a top student would be completely ruined! 

She bit her lip and bravely retorted, ‘Sir, Celia’s performance in the college entrance examination is in the past and doesn’t reflect her current abilities.” 

“Everyone knows that Celia has skipped classes numerous times in the past three years, and she even failed a subject due to excessive absences.”

“Favoured?”

James chuckled lightly and said, “Whether it’s favouritism or not, I will find our with a simple check.” 

“If any teacher has tampered with a student’s grades, it can be traced through the backend system of my computer. Additionally. I have already sent someone to retrieve Celia’s exam paper.” 

“Knock, knock, knock!” 

As soon as James finished speaking, a rhythmic knocking sound came from the door. 

“Sir, this is Celia’s exam paper.” 

James nodded slightly, took Celia’s exam paper, and checked the teacher evaluation system. 

“Celia received a perfect score on her exam paper, and the teacher evaluation system also shows that both Celia’s and Molly’s scores have been altered. Molly, do you have anything else to explain?” 

Molly’s face turned even paler as she opened her mouth, but she didn’t know how to refute it. 

She only knew that everything was over! 

Her hard–earned reputation as a top student was destroyed! 

“The school system may experience some delay, and your scores will return to normal in about three hours. Is there anything else you need to address?” 

“Sir. I still have some doubts!” 

Just when everyone thought everything was settled, a clear voice suddenly came from the door: 

“Even if she achieved a perfect score on the college entrance exam and a perfect score without attending classes, isn’t it too incredible? But if her score was obtained through cheating, everything seems to make 

sense. 

Celia sighed in exasperation. “You can accuse me of cheating, but shouldn’t you provide evidence?” 

“Unfortunately, I do have evidence.” 

Maya handed her phone to James and said, “My friend accidentally captured a video that is relevant to this 

situation.” 

“You can 

pause and enlarge the screen at 4:35. From this angle, you can clearly see that there is a cheat sheet in Celia’s drawer, and I have brought that cheat sheet as well.” 

Maya took out a piece of paper from her pocket and said, “Coincidentally, a large part of the content on this paper is related to the exam. If Celia didn’t cheat, why would this paper appear in her drawer?” 

“Sir, although Celia’s seat is in a blind spot of the surveillance camera, I recorded a video of her taking out the note right after the exam ended. I guarantee that the note in the video is the same as this one, and that video is right after this video.

Chapter 12 Evidence of Celia’s Cheating 

“Celia, do you have anything to explain?” 

Celia narrowed her eyes, a cold gleam flashing in her gaze. 

Hmm, I underestimated Maya!

“My desk is in a blind spot for surveillance, but my friend’s not! If you just check the footage and see if I made any cheating gestures, you will know if I cheated or not.” 

“That’s not necessarily true! If you are an experienced cheater, even if a group of us stare at the surveillance, we might not be able to catch you cheating,” Maya said. 

“Yeah! Watching the surveillance is boring. It’s better to take a look at the evidence I have in my hands.” 

As soon as Maya finished speaking, a cheerful voice came from the door. 

Sally placed her phone on the table and sighed helplessly, I have a bad habit – procrastination, so I always submit my work last.” 

“But, coincidentally, it was this bad habit that allowed me to see things I shouldn’t have seen and capture things I shouldn’t have captured. That’s right, there were indeed cheat sheets in Celia’s drawer, but that doesn’t mean she put them there herself.” 

Sally looked up at James and said, “If you slow down the video at 2:15, you can clearly see that the cheat sheet was thrown in by the girl sitting behind her when she was submitting her work.” 

“Celia didn’t look down at the cheat sheet during the ten minutes of answering the questions. If you don’t believe me, you can check the surveillance. Moreover, if you compare the cheat sheet with Celia’s test paper, you will see that Celia’s answers are better.” 

James watched the video and nodded in agreement. “This video indeed proves that Celia didn’t cheat. Do you have any other evidence?” 

“Oh, well..” 

A trace of regret flashed in Maya’s eyes, but she quickly concealed it. 

She turned to look at Celia, a hint of apology in her smile. 

“I’m sorry, Celia, I didn’t know someone was trying to frame you by throwing that into your drawer. We’re all classmates, you shouldn’t be mad at me for this little misunderstanding, right?” 

“Of course not, it was just a misunderstanding after all.” 

Celia smiled, but the smile didn’t reach her eyes. 

Maya set a trap for me, huh. If it wasn’t for Sally arriving in time, it wouldn’t have been so easy to escape today. 

It seems that I must thoroughly investigate this Maya. 

“The incident today had a severe impact, and the school will conduct a thorough investigation and give specific punishments. If there’s nothing else, you can leave.” 

Molly opened her mouth, wanting to argue, but before she could say anything. Mava pulled her away.
