Time to Realize His

Chapter CHAPTER 1

Time to Replize His Gentleness

Chapter 1 Darling, I’m Late

A battered young girl lay tightly restrained on the operating table in a secluded private clinic.

She struggled desperately, but due to prolonged abuse, her weakened body could not muster any strength.

“Don’t bother wasting your energy. I will replace your heart with Molly’s today.”

A familiar voice came from above, causing Celia Leif’s body to stiffen. She raised her head abruptly and looked at John Nelson in disbelief.

“Why?”

“Hmph.”

John sneered and looked at Celia with mockery and pity. “Celia, you don’t really think I have feelings for you, do you?”

What did you say?”

Celia’s mind went blank in an instant, her trembling lips pale with disbelief as she looked at John.

Even though John had subjected her to countless abuses after their marriage, and even though he appeared at an inappropriate time, she still made excuses for him subconsciously. He must have his reasons.

However, John’s cold words dealt her a harsh blow!

“I don’t believe you!”

Celia screamed as she recalled the beautiful memories, her face contorted as she vigorously shook her head.

“Are you saying that everything between us was just an act

“No! I don’t believe you!”

“Celia, should I call you naive or stupid?”

Molly sneered and placed her slender hand on Celia’s chest. “If it weren’t for your heart, Johnny world not have pretended for so long.”

Celia licked her pale lips and asked in a hoarse voice, “Is she telling the truth?”

“Hmph,” John chuckled lightly and affectionately looked at Molly. “What my precious Molly said is, course, true!”

“You! Both of you

“Ah!” Celia let out a low growl, regretful tears streaming down her cheeks.

She clenched her fists. At the same time, she stared fiercely at the couple in front of her with hatred in her

eyes.

At this point, what was there for her not to understand?

She was overwhelmed with hatred

#Finished

She hated herself for being so blind and misjudging people! She hated herself for believing in John’s sweet nothings. And even more so, she hated herself for not trusting Henry Holton!

Celia, I can give you everything as long as you allow me to make you happy!

Suddenly, the words Henry said when he was imprisoned echoed in her mind. Immediately, Celia felt a sharp pain in her heart.

She sent Henry to prison in order to be with John, but he did not blame her at all.

Henry was the one who truly loved her, yet why did she become so blind and fall for John? Why didn’t she realise it earlier?

John looked at Celia’s pained expression, leaned down slightly, and forcefully gripped her chin. A cruel smile forming at the corner of his lips.

“I forgot to tell you. I have never been the person in your memories because that photo doesn’t belong to

me!”

Celia’s pupils contracted and she looked up at John with anger and surprise.

“What do you mean?”

Molly smirked triumphantly. “Don’t you know? Johnny took that picture when Henry was seriously injured and unconscious!”

John nodded in agreement. “He held it like a treasure even when he was seriously injured and unconscious. I thought it was something important, but it turned out to be just an inconspicuous photo. However, this photo did play a big role.”

Celia’s body stiffened. At the same time, regret pierced her heart like a sharp sword, making her feel unbearable pain.

No wonder John was so different from the person in her memory, no wonder Henry treated her so well, no wonder…

he was the one she loved!

So her

Henry adored her deeply, but she treated him like this. He must be in so much pain during his imprisonment.

It was entirely her fault!

If she had inquired further about the photo after seeing it, could they have avoided this outcome?

I’m sorry…”

Celia whispered softly, closing her eyes in despair.

“Mr. Nelson, now is the most opportune time for the heart transplant. Should we…

“Go ahead!”

Immediately after the surgery, John tenderly embraced Molly and left the small clinic.

As for the barely alive Celia, he did not even spare her a glance as if she was trash.

“Clean up this place. I don’t want to hear any news about Celia being alive.”

Thud!

As soon as John finished speaking, someone punched his handsome cheek.

He staggered backward and Molly in his arms fell with him.

“Henry, I didn’t expect you to be released so soon.”

John coldly squinted his eyes. He was surprised, but he kind of expected this.

Henry ignored him and hurriedly ran towards Celia, who was barely breathing on the bed.

I’m sorry, Celia, I’m late.”

“Henry… Henry…”

Celia stared at the man before her in shock. His cheeks were covered in stubble, and his eyes were bruised and swollen. He appeared much more worn out.

Yet those deep eyes still held affection with a hint of concealed pain for her.

“I’m sorry..

Celia lowered her head in shame. He was a man in the top class, but because of her, he had become what

he was now

What had she done during these years when her mind was clouded?

“Hush!”

Henry made a hushing gesture and gently tucked Celia’s hair behind her ear.

“Celia, never apologise to me. Because to me, you’re always right.”

“Henry…

Celia’s eyes welled up with tears. She summoned her strength and sat up. She was about to sincerely apologise to Henry, but suddenly, she noticed John’s movement….

“Henry! Run!”

Her pupils contracted, and she used all her strength to push Henry toward the door.

However, Henry remained motionless and instead tightly embraced Celia.

“Celia

He gently wiped away the tears on her cheeks. “Tm not afraid to die with you but I’m afraid that be lonely if you go alone.”

He knew what would happen before he came, yet he still came.

It was so cold in the underworld, so how could he bear to let his

precious baby leave alone?

“Henry! Are you stupid? Leave now! You can still escape if you go now!”

As she watched the fuse grow shorter and shorter, Celia felt both heartbroken and anxious. At the same time, she was pushing Henry with all her might.

Henry did not argue. He just simply held Celia even tighter in his arms.

The most foolish thing he had ever done in his life was probably falling in love with this young girl, but he had no regrets.

Realising that Henry was determined to die with her, Celia gradually gave up struggling and slowly leaned against him, silently making up her mind.

If she could meet Henry again in her next life, she would never ever let him down!

“Henry, let me love you in the next life!”

Boom!

Before Henry could respond, a loud explosion erupted from the small clinic.

In an instant, the small clinic turned into ashes.
