Chapter 87 The Kissing Scene

Seeing Calvin stepping in personally for the scene, Anders was stunned!

He never imagined Calvin would go to such lengths to pursue Sally.

Anders watched the filming with a dark expression.

Mary, of course, noticed Anders‘ mood.

Honestly, seeing Sally and Calvin together made Mary quite happy.

She knew Anders was angry now.

“Miss Sally,” the director said, “you didn’t seem shy enough. Let’s shoot it again.”

Sally felt a bit embarrassed.

It was impossible for her to feel shy around Calvin.

Calvin had no objections and said, “Alright, let’s do another take.”

Calvin sensed the defiance in Anders‘ words.

He provocatively glanced at Anders and smirked, “If the director isn’t satisfied, we’ll do another take. What does it have to do with you? Or do you think you have more filming experience than the director?”

“You…” Anders was about to argue when Mary quickly intervened, ” Dear, don’t argue with them… This is their set, after all…”

Anders reluctantly closed his mouth.

Seeing Anders‘ unhappy expression, Sally felt immensely satisfied.

This was the effect she wanted.

Watching Anders stand there, helplessly angry, made Sally happy.

Thinking this, she told the director, “Alright, let’s shoot again!”

Soon, the director had them back in position.

As the kissing moment approached, Sally quickly put on a shy expression.

Calvin chuckled softly and gently pulled her closer.

Then, he lightly kissed her forehead.

This time, the director was finally satisfied.

After the ad shoot, Sally was about to head to the dressing room to change, but Calvin stopped her.

“Sally.”

Instinctively, Sally turned around.

Calvin walked up to her and said, “You once mentioned you owed me a meal. Don’t forget.”

Sally was taken aback.

She hadn’t expected Calvin to bring this up!

Sally instinctively wanted to refuse, but Calvin continued, “Before you think of rejecting me, I have another ad I want to collaborate on with you. The pay is quite substantial. Are you interested in discussing it further?”

Sally hesitated.

She really needed the money.

Even if she didn’t want to see Calvin, she had to admit she needed the money.

At this point, Anders couldn’t take it anymore.

Hearing Calvin mention Sally treating him to a meal, Anders laughed disdainfully.

“Calvin,” Anders said mockingly, “is your family so poor that you

can’t even afford a meal? Do you need a woman to treat you? How pathetic.”

Calvin despised Anders the most.

Thinking of Anders‘ past with Sally made Calvin furious.

Hearing Anders‘ mockery, he immediately retorted, “At least Sally is willing to spend time with me. Bu ou, my friend, are just an annoying pest. Do you honestly think Sally wants to be with you?”

Anders was speechless.

He instinctively looked at Sally.

Sally’s face turned pale as she stared at Anders.

Calvin noticed Sally’s discomfort.

He angrily said to Anders, “Sally and you are strangers. What? Are you shamelessly trying to cling to her? You have no dignity.”

Anders didn’t expect Calvin to be so blunt!

Seeing Calvin’s confrontational stance, Anders dropped the

pretense and said, “Sally, do you want to tell everyone that we used to be married?”

The staff’s eyes widened in shock!

Anders and Sally… were once married?

He admitted he had wronged Sally, but it was Sally who betrayed him first!
