The Wallflower and the Alphas

Avery P.O.V. 

Alexander gave me a severe stare, and he had a blank look on his face. Okay, he is going to be the trouble and bad boy just like his daddy's But not Sophia; she had a sweet smile on her face when she saw it was me speaking to her. "Aww, look at our pups," I heard Angelstar tell Angelica. "The boy is going to be strong and brave. And the girl will be sweet, loving, and strong, too, "Angelstar said. "You mean Alexander and Sophia, right?'' I tell her. Yes, of course, I know! she said, rolling her eyes. Aww, look how beautiful the pups are!" Angelica cooed at the babies in my mind. She's right.

They are beautiful pups. I need to make sure nothing happens to my babies. Some still hate me and want to hurt the people I love. That person is the evil witch Camila and her followers. After high school, she liked disappeared and her friends. The last time anyone saw or heard her was graduation day. So, what we know is that Camila and her followers are long gone. What if she wants to come after my babies and me? And what if they are coming for - I thought with worry in my head. Avery doesn't think about her and her evil goonies. Right now. You're safe. Your babies are safe.

I kept thinking about that in my mind. There are safe. There are safe. So, I place my hand on the side of the bed. I gently took my son out. I started feeding him by breastfeeding. My father-in-law told me it was better for them. They get nurturing and bonding with their mother. So, I have been doing it in the hospital. But I am not giving enough to them. So, half the time, they were giving them formula.

After Alexander was done eating. I put him back in the basket. I see he fell asleep in my arms again. I very carefully covered his little body. I stared at how handsome he was. He got his father's shape, jawline, and hair color. He is going to be a very handsome man when he grows up. Once Alexander was sound asleep. "You're going to be the naughty one just like your father's-son," I told him. And moved away and laid on his side. He was still asleep.

I shook my head and chuckled. I got a feeling his sister would be looking out for him. I would hope so because he will be the rebel and hellion. I look over at my daughter. She just stared up at me and held out her hands for me to grab her. "Alright, little peanut," I let out a little giggle. "Mommy got you,'' I told her when I picked her up. She giggled and placed her hand on my face. Aww, my sweet daughter, she is lovely and so beautiful.

Once I got her to eat from me. I was so surprised it worked this time. I may need to calm down and let nature take its course. So, that is what I did. I laid my sleepy daughter back down beside her twin brother. Sophia, sweetie, watch out for your brother. And keep him out of trouble." I know you're going to be angry at your brother." You're going to fight with him." So, no matter what. He is still your brother, and he loves you, so take care of each other because one day. He will take care of you," I told her. She moved to her side, close to her brother. I saw her little hand on top of her brother's back, and she moved closer to him.

That was when I knew she had heard me. I felt proud and joyful, with tears falling down my face. I had tears running down my face with happiness. I am so blessed with these beautiful babies lying beside my bed. That was when I knew my children would be safe and no one would try to hurt them. Not with me around. I won't let them. They would have to go through me. So, over my dead body. I thought with a serious mind.

Mommy loves her sweet baby boy and baby girl," I told them "You are both my world; I love you so much," I said, bent down, and kissed their cheeks. I heard the door open after watching my babies sleep for a few minutes. I looked up and turned. I saw all four of my husbands standing in the room watching me. I saw the heartwarming on their face when they saw me with their pups. "Can we come in?" I heard Jake ask. I looked at them. I felt this blush coming up my body. How did I get so lucky to have these handsome and sexy men become my mate and husbands?

I don't deserve them.

The girls always told me in school that the four horsemen would never fall for a loser like me. I still can't believe I am here with them as their mate and wife and the mother of their pups. It's like a wild dream. "Now, now, sweetheart. You know better than that." I saw Matthew raise his eyebrows at me with a wink. I turned my red cheeks away from their stare. You're not in a wild dream, sweetheart, Jake said.

They started moving forward. That when they stop by the bassinet with our babies are sound asleep. They looked down and placed their hand. Then, they started rubbing their back. Sophia and Alexander must have known it was their daddies, and they moved closer to their father's touch. I giggled, and I had a big happy grin on my face. That was when I knew everything was going to be okay. But before that, I was always curious about my future.

But I was always scared of what was going to happen. Then, finally, a strange voice did tell me in my dream once. She was right on one thing that I would live happily ever after. I can't wait for what the future holds for our lives. So, I thought with a happy sigh and a smile, staring at my childhood bullies/crush and now my mates/husbands. I can't wait for more children/a messy house, dirty diapers, and sneaking off to make love to my husband. I thought with a smirk. " Our sweet little wife. Are you happy, sweetheart? I felt my bed dip on both sides of the bed. I felt arms wrapped around my body, and one by one; they kissed me. I knew it was Jake and Andrew on one side, and the other side was Elijah and Matthew.

They were on our bed now. They were holding me and giving me sweet little kisses. I stop thinking about my past. "It's called a past for a reason; Angelstar had to get her two cents on it. Then she went back into the shadows of my mind. Or she and Anglica with the werewolves' mates. So, I block them out. I went back to thinking about my husband and my babies. While we were all lying on the bed, with our babies safe and sound asleep right beside us, I knew I could be in peace and security in my mate's arms.

I was happy when I was closing my eyes with my mates protecting me by wrapping me in their strong arms and my babies safe beside me. So. I didn't know what the future right now holds, but when Jake asked me if I was happy? I didn't have to think about what to say. Because I knew the answer. So, in my mind. I didn't have to think about it because I had given them my answer by speaking three words. "Yes, I am." That, I am happy.
