Chapter 230
Chapter 230
Blood quickly seeped through Noelle's skin and hair.
Even Hendrix was stunned briefly. It took him a while to recover before he snatched the ashtray from her hand.
Seizing the opportunity, Noelle shoved him forward with all her remaining strength. She didn't say another word to him, nor did she spare him a glance. Instead, she turned and steadied herself, reaching for the door and pulling it open.
But before she could step out, Hendrix's hand clamped tightly around her wrist from behind.
"Let me go! Hendrix, fucking let me go!" Noelle started shouting. Seeing that Hendrix didn't intend to let her go, she didn't care anymore and just bit his ann.
She was on the verge of collapsing at this moment, so of course, she bit hard. Soon, she could taste the blood on her tongue, but Hendrix did not even make a sound..
When Noelle was about to bite him again, his voice came from behind, laced with suppressed pain, "I'll send you to the hospital."
When Noelle woke up, she was in the hospital.
Dylan was beside her, with a frown on his face. When he saw her wake up, he quickly grabbed her hands. "How are you? Do you feel pain anywhere?"
"I'm alright."
"Do you want to sit up?" Dylan asked.
"I still feel a little dizzy."
"Alright. Let's wait for the doctor to finish the checkup." Dylan sounded very calm.
Noelle couldn't help but ask, "You... Don't you have anything to ask me?"
"What are you trying to say?" Dylan countered.
Noelle remained silent.
"Then, let's not talk about anything. Rest first."
"I want to beat Julio up," Noelle said suddenly.
Dylan was surprised for a moment, then he laughed. "I'm afraid this isn't a good idea, is it?"
Noelle didn't answer him. She just looked out the window with no expression on her face.
Dylan stopped smiling and said, "Or we could consider filing a police report."
This suggestion was something Noelle hadn't anticipated. She whipped her head around to look at him, her eyes wide.
"The hotel should have surveillance footage," Dylan continued. "And as for Julio, he must have left
evidence when he tampered with things. Of course, that's assuming that you're willing to go through with it."!
Noelle gripped her hands tightly, remaining silent.

"I've heard your company is currently seeking a partnership with Amity Group," Dylan added. "If you tear things apart with him now, can you afford the consequences?"
Noelle still didn't say anything.
Dylan looked at her and added, "Or you can see it from another point of view."
"For example, threaten Hendrix by using the cops?" Noelle finished his words.
"Mm." Dylan pressed his lips together. "But doing this might seem a bit inappropriate, after all—"
"How is it inappropriate?" Noelle cut him off, smiling faintly. "I think your suggestion is excellent. It's just the hotel surveillance..."
"I'll handle it for you," Dylan replied, his voice calm and steady. "Including arranging a lawyer. Everything will be taken care of."
His tone carried a deliberate composure, as if he had already thought through every detail long before she had even woken up.
"Thank you," Noelle said sincerely.
Dylan smiled softly, reaching out to gently ruffle her hair. His touch was light, careful not to aggravate her wound.
Noelle didn't resist. Instead, she closed her eyes briefly, allowing the gesture. Afterward, she drifted back to sleep.
When she woke again, daylight streamed through the windows.
This time, she felt much better. The dizziness was gone, and the pain from her injury had eased significantly.
Dylan had already left for work, but he had arranged for a caregiver to look after her.
