BLAKE
I stare down at my mate who just collapsed, I just caught her in time as she was about to fall.
“She’s ok Blake, she used too much of her power” says Kat who has now come over to the side of me, checking on Izzy.
“I didn’t know her power was that powerful” I said in a whisper. Kat looks at me and smiles “She would have told you when she was ready but she knew she needed to save you, Kacey and also your father” she says turning to look over her shoulder. I look over to my father who is slumped on the ground with my mother by his side.
I look around the room, looking at everyone. Kacey was holding Charley while Lena was in the arms of Dale.
“Dude you okay?” Asks Dale through a mind link, I look over to him and nod “What the hell happened? You were supposed to mind link me when you needed me to come in, what the hell happened?”
I sigh and look at Kacey who was staring back at me with a small smile on her face. We need to tell everyone what happened but we will have to wait for Izzy to wake up. Elder Johnson had planned everything.
“I just sent Todd to collect Alice, Allie and Paul from the cafe, he will bring them here in a few minutes” says Kat who stares at me.
“Blake what happened?” She asks, I can feel her gaze on me “I thought you all had a plan, what happened?”
I look down at my mate who is now slowing waking up in my arms “What the hell.....” she starts to say but looks straight at me, she blushes. I can’t help but smile.
“Mate will be ok with what happened” says Axel looking through my eyes “Puna and Izzy will know what really happened.”
“I hope so Ax, I don’t want her to lose her trust in us” I say to him.
Both Izzy and I slowly get up. I guide her over to the couch, she looks over to my father as she takes a seat next to me “He will be ok, he just needs to rest. Elder Johnson took over his body and mind. He was in a dark place, it’s not nice especially when you are on your own” she says, I look towards my father who is now sitting up on a chair that Dale brought for him to sit on. He looks at Izzy and smiles “Thank you my dear, I don’t know what the hell happened.”
“What do you remember?” Asks my mother who sits next to him, he looks at her with love “All I remember was mind linking you about Blake and Izzy coming” he says and stares into space “And Linda bringing scotch in with her, I drunk it but she....” he says but stops and looks towards the desk “She never drunk hers, I was in darkness for hours. It was lonely as hell, I had no one there, not even my wolf.”
I sigh “I know that feeling” I say and look at him “It has happened to me twice now.”
“Me too” says Kacey quietly.
Izzy looks between the both of us “You were not yourselves, Puna and I could sense it as soon as we walked in, you both don’t have to worry about anything both Lena and I stopped it before anything could happen” she says with a smile, she places her hand in mine and gives it a squeeze.
Axel is purring inside my head and I feel warm all over. I grip her hand tight. I never want to let go.
“Drake was in your body” she says with a grim look, I growl at his name.
“What do you mean?” I ask “How could you tell?”
She looks at me “He used his own voice when he saw me” she says with a hint of anger sweeping in.
“I know what spell they were using but I want to know how they managed to subdue a Luna and both you and Kacey” she says looking between all three of us.
My mother rubbing her arms as she was held against her will.
She sighs “I thought I could get Elder Johnson to open up if Blake and Kacey pretended to be together. But when we came in, three of the Red Moon pack guards were here. They tied me to the chair, holding a silver knife to my throat. Elder Johnson made both Kacey and Blake drink some liquid, he forced it down Blakes throat, threatening to kill me and Kacey. When they both it, they were not themselves. Elder Johnson was going to force whoever they were to mark each other in Blake and Kacey’s forms” she says as tears flow down her face, there were growls coming from every part of the room.
“Where are the guards now?” Asks Kacey, looking around.
I look towards Izzy who has a smirk on her face.
My mother was also looking at Izzy “I knew you were powerful, your mother told me years ago” she says with a small smile on her face “I mind linked Dale, he must have told you to come in. As you must have entered, someone text Elder Johnson of your arrival and all three guards were sent out. He told me that, he had spies around our pack and they have been here for many years without us knowing.”
I growl “Who are they?” I ask.
She shakes her head and looks at me “I have no clue but Linda is definitely one of them but I also have a hunch on who the other two are” she says looking at my father.
“I asked for your personal guard to help with holding both Graham and Linda for treason” she says.
I can’t help but growl.
“Graham is not one of them” she says “But i should mind....” she was cut off with the office door opening.
In walks Alice, Paul, Allie who was being carried in by Todd and there were two more people behind them.
There were gasps coming from every single person in the room except for the ones that who walked in and also my mate.
My mouth drops open.
“Surprise” says the woman “We have missed you all so much.”
My mother and father are staring at the two people in disbelieve, like they have seen ghosts.
There stood in the doorway was my aunt Anita and her husband Alpha Dawson, they both have been missing for two years.
We all thought they were dead.
