The Return

Theo/Gage's POV

After Callie had dragged Izzy off, we finished our breakfast then motioned for Beau to follow us. We had to speak to him before he left. Walking outisde the house we walk through the woods, wanting to have privacy. We eventually reach a spot that we see fit. We turn to face him and see a sad expression on his face.

"Before you speak Theo, I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for attacking you. I'm sorry for messing with your life, but I'm mostly sorry about ever lifting a hand to Izzy. You're a very lucky guy, and I hope you'll treat her the proper way, the way I was supposed treat her." By the end of his speech, tears are falling and he's on his knees. We sigh and kneel down in front of him. We place our hands on his shoulders.

"Beau, stop crying. I just wanted to say thank you." His head snaps up and he looks at us in shock and confusion.

"W-What? Why?"

"If it weren't for you I would have never met Izzy. Now don't get me wrong by saying this, if you hadn't hurt her I wouldn't have gotten the chance to be with her. That doesn't mean that I will ever forgive you for what you did to her, but I still want to say thank you and that I'm sure you'll find someone out there for you. I did." He sighs out and suddenly pulls us into his embrace. We're shocked at first but then embrace him as well. After our hug we get up and head back to the house.

"So what you planning for your guys' date?" Beau suddenly ask us as we walk. We sigh and run a hand through our hair.

"I have no idea. I've never been on a date, so I don't know how this works. All I know is that Izzy loves Disney movies and that she hates fancy things."

"Then work with that Theo. Seems to me you've got all the information you need." He chuckles then runs the rest of the way home, leaving us there. As we continue to walk, the idea hits us like a truck. We immediately dash into the house and get dressed. After getting dressed we go and find mom.

"Hey mom." We greet her when we walk into the living room. She looks up at us, ignoring the show that was on television.

"What is it Sweety?" She asks us, patting the seat next to her. We sit down and turn to face her.

"Can you help me set up my date with Izzy?" We ask, embarrassed that we need to do this. She smiles at us and nods her head.

"Okay, tell me what your idea is." So we explain to her the whole thing and by the grin on her face, it will probably end well. After explaining, we immediately set out to the stores, needing a few supplies. We had also asked Adrian for some help and he happily agreed.

After returning from the shops we notice that the girls were back. We asked mom to watch over the things while we went to distract them. Entering the living room we smile as we see Izzy passed out on the couch while Callies eating some chips.

"Callie, could you please stay upstairs with Izzy. I don't want her to know what I have planned." We ask her as we carry Izzy upstairs to our room. She nods her head and follows closely behind us. Time for me to question her.

"So Callie, I wanted to speak to you as well."

"About what?" She asks us, setting her snacks on the bed before climbing on it.

"Adrian." She immediately stiffens but then calms down.

"I don't know what you're talking about." We roll our eyes but sigh, knowing we won't get anything out of her.

"Just be careful. Okay Sis?" She nods her head in understanding. We smile and leave the room, heading downstairs. Now that we know that Izzy will be distracted we can finally put this plan into action.

We smile happily as we look at the complete set up.

"You think she'll like it?" We ask Adrian as he finishes with the lights. He walks over to us and looks at everything as well.

"She'll love it man. Now come on, you have to get ready." We nod our head and make our way home. We immediately head up to the shower and clean ourselves up. Once done we head to our closet and pick out something to wear. We decide on a black shirt with jeans and black converse shoes.

After we're done we head downstairs and see mom waiting for us. She starts to gush on about how we look before we send her up to fetch Izzy. We hear some chatting upstairs then we see Mom and Callie coming down. We take in a deep breath as we hear Izzy approaching.

As she turns the corner our mouth goes dry and we're awe struck in that moment. As she decends down the stairs we can't help but stare at her. She's so beautiful. Her hair is down, in a wavy sort of way and she's wearing a beautiful blue dress. We can't help the giant smile that crosses our face.

"You look amazing." We say as we hold our hand out for her. She takes it and blushes at the comment, giving us a small thank you. We suddenly see a flash and look over at mom.

"What? It's my Baby's first date. I need to capture the moment." We roll our eyes but ignore her and look down at Izzy.

"This is your first date?" We slightly blush and nod our head, highly embarrassed. She smiles and kiss our cheeck. We smile and lead her outside and walk down the pathway we made. As we walk we can't help but wonder if she likes this so far. We walk on the trail of flower petals towards the clearing.

As we approach our destination we hear her breath hitch as she sees the place. We look around as well examining the picnic we set up with the screen already on, with one movie set to play. We look down at her but can't make out what her response to this is.

"I-If you don't like it we could go somewhere else?" We suggest when she doesn't say anything. Though we're suddenly tackled to the ground and we feel a pair of lips on ours. We smile into the kiss, knowing that she likes it. She pulls back and smiles down at us.

"I love it Theo. Thank you." She says and kisses us once again. We lead her to the blanket and sit down. She shuffles to sit in between our legs and we happily let her. She leans back against our chest while holding our hand. The movie begins and she instantly recognizes it.

"I know it's not a Disney movie but you did tell me you loved Spirit." She smiles and nods, then makes herself comfortable. As we continue to watch movie after movie we both eventually fall asleep on the blanket with our arms wrapped around her.

Best first date ever.
