The Return

Izzy's POV

I honestly thought that my day couldn't get any worse but the universe took that as a challenge. I came here to escape my past, I didn't want anything to do with it. Now? Now I'm stuck in the principals office with two guys I wish would just leave me alone. I can feel both of their gazes on me but I'm to angry to deal with them at the moment.

"Now would someone please explain why the three new students started a fight?" The principal sighs while glarring over at us. I look over at Theo to see if he's going to explain but he just sits there with a blank expression. Part of me feels sorry for him with that huge bruise on his face. Then I think back to that stupid plan of his. Did he really think that was going to work? Gawd, and he still won't tell me why he did it.

I shake my head and look at the other idiot. Why did he have to come here? I finally escaped him, but now he followed me here and won't tell me why either. Yeah, and they say boys are confusing. As I look at him I can see a lot more bruise, Theo beat him up good. Though its odd how Theo doesn't need any ice while Beau needs a bag. I just shrug not in the mood to think about it.

"I'm waiting." The principal interrupts my thoughts. I sigh then look at him.

"So we had just introduced ourselves in front of the class when Beau walked in and..."

Flashback

"B-Beau?"

What the hell is he doing here? I finally just got rid of him. I was just getting use to not looking over my shoulder because of him. I look over at Theo and see him clenching his fists tightly. Boy is he mad. Though he still looks so cute when he's mad- Bad Izzy.

"What are you doing here?" Theo sneers at him, while I stand further behind him, not wanting to look at Beau.

"I came here for Izzy-"

"I can already see an argument coming on and I want nothing to do with it. Out of my class now." The teacher interrupts and shoves the three of us out. I stand by the lockers while trying to keep myself hidden. Theo is standing between me and Beau so he can't reach me.

"Why? What do you care?" Theo sneers again making Beau scowl.

"None of your business pup." Beau growls dangerously low. He makes a move to come near me, making Theo shove him back. He growls but doesn't attack only watches me.

"Izzy, listen to me please. I care for you so much just-"

"You don't care for Izzy! Stop lying!"

"And you do?"

"If course I do!" My heart jumps when I hear those words spill from Theo's mouth and I let a small smile display on my face. I guess Beau saw the smile and went to charge but suddenly stopped himself.

"If you cared about her then why hurt her with that plan of yours?" My ears perk up at the question. Plan? What plan? I look over at Theo to see him shocked as well. I walk to face him.

"What plan Theo?" He looks me in the eyes but doesn't say a word. I give up with him and turn to Beau.

"What plan are you talking about?" He smirks while looking down at me.

"The plan him and Emma came up with to get you to leave him alone."

"What? No Izzy that's not true!"

"So you and Emma are really dating?"

"...No, we're not really dating." He sighs and hangs his head in shame. I step back from him and can feel my heart break.

"Then why are you doing this? Is Beau right? You only did it for me to leave you alone?"

"No, Izzy it's not like that-"

"Then what is it Theo!" I yell at him, while tears begin to fall from my eyes as I look up at the guy who saved me from Beau. The second person I have ever had feelings for.

"I can't tell-"

Instead of letting him finish I punch him across the jaw. It doesn't seem to affect him much but I am able to draw blood which please me slightly.

"Come on Izzy let's leave the bastard-" I glare at Beau and punch him across the face as well. He falls to the ground while cupping the side of his face.

"I hate you both!"

"This is all your fault!" I hear Theo yell from behind me. I turn around thinking he's going to attack me but instead he tackles Beau down to the ground again and begins to throw punch after punch. Beau gets in a few punches but not as much as Theo. I hear feet running down the hallway towards us as I'm trying to get Theo off of Beau.

"Principals office now!"

"And that's how we ended up here." I huff and sit further into my seat. I don't even notice that I didn't stutter because I'm so mad.

"Alright, hearing the story, the three of you will receive two weeks of detention. Dismissed." I quickly stand up, wanting to get away from them. I open the door and walk down the hallway. I hear footsteps behind me but I didn't care. I feel someone grab my wrist and I instantly know who it is.

"Leave me alone Beau!" I yell at him, pulling my hand away.

"Please Izzy, just hear me out?" He pleads and makes me face him. I look up at him.

"Why Beau? Why are you here?"

"I came here for you Izzy. I'm so sorry for hurting you. I regret it everyday, please Izzy just give me another chance." I only shake my head and step away from him.

"I can't Beau. You hurt me in the worst way possible. You were my best friend since we were kids, and after one thing that happened you turned on me. Beat me. Rejected me."

I try to walk away again, knowing if I stay longer that I'll break.

"Please Izzy. I beg of you. Just one chance and if you still don't want me around, I'll leave." I look up at him and sigh.

"One chance."

"Thank you Izzy! I promise you won't regret it." He runs off leaving me there.

What did I just do?

"I can't believe you just did that." I hear Theo mutter from behind me. I turn to face him, I glare at him and turn to walk away.

"Izzy wait. I'm sorry okay! I didn't mean for you to get hurt-"

"Then what did you mean Theo?"

"I can't tell you Izzy!"

"Then just leave me alone from now on Theo. Don't worry I won't bother you from now on, so you don't have to continue that plan." I slam the front doors open and begin to walk across the parking lot.

"Why did you forgive him Izzy? Why on earth would you ever give him a second chance?" I stop walking as I hear him approach.

"He's my mate."
