Chapter The War of Willow Lake Book 3
The War of Willow Lake, Book 3 - Coming soon
"Every element known to man tried to prevent me from moving forward. Rain, snow, ice, lightning, hail, hurricanes, even purple flames enveloped in the clouds tried to stop me. I couldn’t stop to rest; I couldn’t regain energy or strength. Even stopping for a second sent a flurry of elemental attacks hurling towards me.
It had forced me to use the speed and agility of my Vampire half to evade the elements. I was growing tired, weak, and losing the will to move forward, but I could not give up.
Each step I took burned as if someone had lit my body on fire. Every movement, even at full speed, felt sluggish. My limbs felt like someone had attached colossal weights to them, making it hard to move. But finally, I saw it.
I saw a dark sky in a small hole in the clouds, clear and void of any clouds or elements in the distance. I was almost there; however, once I had finally left the bank below, I could not have expected what was waiting for me."
