The Return Of The Amazing Single Mom By Wendy Titus

Chapter 99

Chapter 99

Christine’s attitude toward Randall had always been lukewarm. She rarely sounded so gentle.

Randall’s captivating and mesmerizing eyes flashed with a hint of playfulness.

What was this woman trying to do?

Elizabeth said joyfully. “Randall, Nancy really cares about your health. Look at you, the dark circles under your eyes are quite bad. Listen to Nancy, get a blood test done for peace of mind.”

Seeing Elizabeth by the side persuading Randall, Christine nodded like a rattling drum.

Elizabeth was indeed awesome!

Looking at Randall, Christine’s eyes were sparkling.

“Mr. Reeves, blood tests only do good to your body without drawbacks. Moreover, I’m skillful, and you won’t feel pain.”

“Didn’t you know why my dark circles are so bad?”

are

Christine paused for a moment, slightly stunned. Randall raised her chin devilishly and said in an ambiguous tone. “How can I not have dark circles under my eyes after the strenuous nights?”

Christine was lost for words. Could he please speak in complete sentences? Obviously, he had been tormented by the child. No one had maliciously edited lus words. Why must he be so ambiguous to make people misunderstand?

Elizabeth’s and Daisy’s eyes lit up, and curious and gossipy smiles revealed on their faces.

Christine felt utterly ashamed.

Why did she create problems for herself? Damned Randall! Couldn’t he speak properly? Why must he sound so ambiguous? Christine really felt like dying!

“Now… can I not do the blood test?”

Randall sounded so gentle, but Christine felt as if she had been struck by lightning.

She looked down and lightly bit the corner of her lips.

Now that they had misunderstood her, and if she let Randall escape, wouldn’t they misunderstand her for nothing?

Her reputation had been tarnished. She could not lose everything.

Christine held Randall’s arm and said sweetly. “You’re so weak now. It’ll get worse if you still don’t do the check-up. Let’s go quickly.”

Christine braced herself and dragged Randall away. Moreover, it was by dragging cum gripping, and running at a fast pace. “Daisy, did you see that? Nancy even blushed. What a lovely little girl.”

“She’s also very concerned about Randall. I’m relieved to have her take care of Randall. Moreover, Elizabeth, did you notice? Randall smiles a lot more when he’s with her.”

Elizabeth nodded and said with a smile, “You’re right. I noticed it, too. When my eldest grandson is with Nancy, he smiles

more often”

Looking at each other, Elizabeth and Daisy exchanged a smile. They were relieved that the child had finally been sold off. Christine pulled Randall into a separate consultation room.

Learning from the previous experience, she closed and locked the door this time.

Now that even the emperor was here, he could not stop her from taking his blood.

“Mr. Reeves, let’s start.”

Looking at Christine as she locked the door with a determined look, Randall said in an ambiguous tone, “Aren’t you a little too anxious during the day?”

Christine was exasperated and almost exploded.

“Be serious. This is a hospital. I’m a doctor, and you’re a patient. Stretch out your arm.”

Randall got close to Christine. Her enchanting eyes captivated the hearts and souls.

“Even if you don’t emphasize such a relationship, I’m quite keen.”

Christine was speechless. Did he think she was playing with him and suppressing the seduction?

Christine realized ever since Milo had given Randall the infertility powder, Randall had undergone a 180-degree transformation. Previously, he was cold, ruthless, and aloof, but now mischievously naughty. Moreover, he would

relentlessly tease and provoke her whenever he caught hold of her.

She felt Milo must have given Randall the wrong medicine.

Forcefully restraining the urge to slap Randall unconscious, Christine smiled and said, “Mr. Reeves, we’re just drawing some blood. For the sake of your health, please cooperate.”

Christine swore this was definitely her best attitude ever. If it wasn’t for the need to draw his blood for a paternity test on her sons, she would not have endured silently like this.

Randall looked at Christine from head to toe with a burning gaze, and his voice was alluring. “For the sake of my health? I think it’s for yourself, isn’t it?”

Had he detected it?

Christine was stunned and said awkwardly. “Mr. Reeves, what do you mean?”

Randall raised his eyebrows slightly, and his cold fingers gently brushed against Christine’s lips.

“You’ve just said I’m weak, and it will worsen if I don’t do a checkup. You seem to be very worried about that aspect, do you?”

Christine’s HP bar was depleted. She had just said it casually to drag him away.

Why did this man have such sensitive ears? She only made casual remarks, but he heard it all.

But he could not hear when she told him to draw blood.

Christine’s forehead twitched. In an instant, she said proudly and confidently, “Mr. Reeves, are you afraid of taking blood? I didn’t expect the dignified CEO of the Reeves Group to be afraid of taking blood.”

Christine’s eyebrows curved gracefully, and her eyes sparkled brightly.

This was the first time someone dared to mock him like this.

A trace of fierceness flashed across Randall’s pitch-black eyes.

“You seem to be very interested in taking my blood test. Is it an occupational disease for you as a doctor?”

Christine smiled radiantly like blooming flowers. “I guess so. Mr. Reeves, quickly stretch out your arm. There’s no harm in checking your body.”

Christine’s motive was clear. It was to take his blood. However, was it just for checking his health? He did not think this woman would care so much about him.

Randall narrowed his eyes and said coldly, “But… I don’t believe it.”

Christine felt like flaring up. It was just taking his blood, not taking his life.

She really felt like swinging the chair at him and knocking him out. She would then take two more tubes of blood and do a full-body checkup for him.

Looking at Christine struggling to restrain herself, Randall’s gaze grew increasingly intense and profound.

To be so patient and restrained, this woman must have other motives.

Drawing closer to Christine, Randall said gently, “What’s your true motive? What do you want to do with my blood?”

Christine was lost for words. It was a hospital, and she was a doctor. It was reasonable for her to take his blood for a test. Why was this man so vigilant?

Were all top-notch tycoons like him so cautious?

“Mr. Reeves, I’m just going to take a little blood from you for a lab test. It’s not like I’m extracting your sperm. Are you afraid I’ll use it to have a child and claim a share of your estate?”

Randall could not conceal the cold and proud demeanor between his brows. His body exuded an inviolable aura of a king.

-“Looks like you don’t intend to tell the truth. In that case, let me guess your motive.”

Christine looked unconcerned. It was completely unrelated. She did not believe he would know what she wanted to do.

“The blood can be used for routine blood tests, liver and kidney function tests, thyroid function tests, as well as for screening for syphilis and AIDS.”

Christine nodded slightly, acknowledging that this man seemed to have some basic knowledge.

“You can also do a paternity test. You wouldn’t care so much about my health and draw blood to do a disease checkup for me, so your motive is… to do a paternity test?”
