Chapter 64
Chapter 64
“I’ve already seen through your identity. Why are you still dressed up so old–fashioned and ugly? Don’t tell me you’re dressed up not for Duncan.”
Randall originally thought that Christine was dressed like this to arouse his interest.
But now that Randall had seen through her identity, there was no need for Christine to continue pretending to be ugly. Could it be for someone else?
Christine replied softly. “Yes.”
All Christine could think of now was to draw Randall’s blood.
Randall did not expect Christine to admit it so easily. His expression instantly turned gloomy.
“Are you trying to get close to him with a different identity?”
Christine suddenly felt as if she had been struck by lightning. She said with a disgusted expression. “Don’t joke with me. Do you think I will be close to that kind of cheating man again?”
“Could it be that ye found an old man because you were cheated on and wanted to take revenge?”
Randall had long investigated Christine’s detailed information, but he did not believe that Christine would cheat on a 60–year–old old man. She was beautiful. Even if she wanted to cheat, she would not go to an old man. He felt that there was definitely something more to it.
“Mr. Reeves, I didn’t expect you to be so nosy. But you’re thinking too much. I won’t degrade myself for the people who hurt me. I’m so good. Why do I have to degrade myself?”
“Okay, it’s so good. I like it.”
“Forget it. I don’t need your like.”
“You said you didn’t need my like, but why did you use all means to get close to me? And where did you get those two children who look so much like me?”
Christine was simply speechless. Randall was suspecting that Oliver and Milo were not Christine’s biological children, and Christine had deliberately found them to get close to him.
“Both of my sons are my biological children. DNA testing can prove it.”
Randall was suspicious. “Are they really your biological sons?”
“Yes, they are my biological sons.”
“Who’s the father?”
Christine was speechless for a moment. Then, she said stubbornly, “Why do you care who the children’s father is? It’s not you anyway.”
Christine retorted angrily. She did not want to admit that her two children belonged to that old man.
“Are you so sure they are not my children? But they look so much like me.”
“Because when I was pregnant, you were influential in the business world and there were reports about you everywhere. 1 saw too many photos of you so that my children accidentally looked like you. Are you satisfied with this explanation?”
Randall chuckled. “It’s quite perfunctory.”
“Randall, I’m a doctor. I’m not in charge of chatting with you. Hurry up and get down to business.”
Christine hadn’t forgotten that she was going to draw Randall’s blood.
Randall was helpless. Could it be that this woman’s mind was only filled with the matter of drawing blood? Why did she still not forget to draw his blood after they talked so much?
Didn’t Christine know that Randall hated drawing blood the most?
“Randall, behave yourself. Don’t force me to sit on your waist again.”
Christine had just finished speaking when she suddenly felt someone behind her. She turned around and saw Randall’s assistant, Derick.
Derick stood there in a daze. What did he just hear? “Randall, behave yourself? Don’t force me to sit on your waist again?” Derick didn’t expect Nancy to be so fierce. Randall was actually so weak in front of her.
Christine looked at Derick’s shocked expression and knew that Derick had misunderstood her.
Why were there so many people prone to overthinking now? Christine was clearly so innocent, but why did everyone think

she was bad?
Christine didn’t understand.
When Christine got home, she had to find Milo to tell her fortune. Had she been unlucky recently?
Derick stood rooted to the ground, not knowing whether to move forward or backward. He was hesitant when Randall looked at him and said, “What is it?”
Derick was so touched that he was about to cry. He had ruined Randall’s plan, but Randall was still not angry. It seemed that Derick was very lucky recently.
“Boss, Magnate has reached Reeves Group.”
Was it an illusion? Why did Randall feel that Christine suddenly became flustered when she heard Magnate’s name? However, she seemed to calm down in the blink of an eye.
When Christine heard that Magnate had arrived at Randall’s company, she was indeed shocked. How did Oliver come to Reeves Group? Was it because of the industrial raw materials? However, when she thought about it again, she calmed down. Oliver had never shown himself as Magnate, so that must be a substitute.
“Let’s go and meet Magnate who is famous in the western.”
Randall had a smile on his lips, and his eyes were filled with wolfish light. He quickly walked out but suddenly turned back to look at Christine.
“Prepare a ward for me. I’ll come and stay when I’m done.”
After saying that, Randall raised his eyebrows slightly and gave Christine a roguish smile as if he had everything under
control.
Randall left, leaving Christine in shock. Didn’t this man say that he wasn’t going to be hospitalized? Why did he suddenly want to be hospitalized again? Did he also have a hereditary disease?
Derick quickly followed Randall and said, “Boss, are you going to be hospitalized? Is there something wrong with your body?”
Randall glanced at Derick and said. “I think there’s something wrong with your body.
“Boss, since you’re fine, why are you going to be hospitalized? Is it because of that doctor?”
“That’s right.”
Derick didn’t expect Randall to admit it so frankly.
Why did Derick suddenly feel that Randall was very interested in women recently?
Derick could understand Randall was interested in Christine. After all, she was beautiful. Now, this doctor looked ugly and old–fashioned. Why would Randall be interested in her either?
Randall felt that Christine seemed to be hiding many secrets. What was her purpose in deliberately approaching him?
Could it be that someone wanted to use a honey trap to deal with Randall? Over the years, there had been countless people who wanted to use a honey trap on Randall, but Randall had never taken a fancy to those women.
Although Christine was beautiful, it was easy to find out about her previous scandal. If the person behind it wanted to use a honey trap, Christine was not a good candidate.
What was Christine’s motive, or what was the motive of the person behind her? Randall decided to take the bait and see what her motive was.
After all, Randall found it quite interesting to play with Christine.
“Put away that gossipy look on your face, or get your ass over to Idos branch.”
Randall was angry. Hearing that, Derick quickly covered his mouth.
Derick didn’t want to go Idos branch at all.
Christine returned to the ward. Elizabeth looked at Christine and then looked behind her. Elizabeth asked in confusion, “Where’s Randall?”
“There is something on in the corporation, and Mr. Reeves has gone back first.”
Elizabeth’s expression immediately changed when she heard that.
“Doesn’t he know who’s more important between the corporation and a wife? Serves him right to be single!”
Christine watched as Elizabeth elegantly delivered a harsh rebuke. It was surprising to see such strong words coming from Randall’s own grandmother.
If Randall was here, Christine would see that Randall was so angry that his face turned gloomy again.
Chapter 64
Elizabeth held Christine’s hand and said, “Randall is preoccupied with the affairs of the corporation, which can make him appear dull and lacking in excitement. Don’t take it into your mind.”
Dull and lacking in excitement?
Christine did not think that Randall was dull at all. Was Randall lacking in excitement? He was clearly a peacock spreading its tail and always showing off.
