The Return Of The Amazing Single Mom By Wendy Titus

Chapter 107

Chapter 107

In the Reeves family, at 3:30 in the morning.

“Lindsay, take a break.”

Lindsay shook her head, her doe eyes filled with stubbornness.

She would not let go of anyone who harmed her mommy.

However, there were people who thought the same and wanted to teach those trolls who attacked her mommy a lesson.

A hint of weariness was in Randall’s eyes, but his voice remained steadfast. “Lindsay, do you think the one who attacked was Skyy?”

Judging from how the network was attacked and the virus released, he should not be the only person. However, one of them should be Skyy. She was also very curious about Skyy.

Although Skyy was ranked second on the global hacker list, she knew his strength was far from being on the hacker list.

Lindsay nodded.

Randall’s eyes darkened. As expected, Skyy was the one who attacked.

Skyy successfully hacked into the safety net of the Reeves Group, and the scrolling message “disregarding acquaintances after achieving success” was plastered all over the screen, tarnishing his reputation completely.

He even leaked information about their three projects, causing the Reeves Group to suffer heavy losses.

Recently, he continued to push the boundaries and once again hacked the safety net of the Reeves Group. He even transferred 200 million dollars away. The Reeves Group had lodged a report, and law enforceinent in Archiland was intensifying their efforts to locate Skyy, but there was no news thus far.

Now that he had attacked again, committing the crime in broad daylight, in a way..

He massively infiltrated computers on the network in Archiland. Was he too arrogant, or was Christine too important to him?

Who exactly was he? Who exactly was Christine? She could make Skyy, the number two on the global hacker list, work for her.

After nearly ten hours of fighting fiercely, Lindsay could not take it any longer.

She rubbed her eyes and refused to stop.

Randall got up and walked to Lindsay’s side. “It’s 3.30 in the morning now. Go to sleep.”

Lindsay shook her head. The trolls were not completely dealt with yet.

She would not let go of anyone who harmed her mommy.

Randall understood his daughter’s thoughts. That woman was very special to her.

“Lindsay, go to sleep. Leave the rest to Daddy.”

Lindsay looked up at his daddy and said, smiling sweetly, “Daddy, I’ll accompany you.”

A warm smile, heartwarming words, but Randall quickly understood the underlying meaning.

Randall gently stroked Lindsay’s hair and spoke in a rarely tender manner, “You want to accompany Daddy or teach those who bully Christine a lesson?”

Lindsay, who was exposed, revealed a silly and innocent smile on their face.

Randall sighed silently.

He had always cherished his daughter dearly since she was little.

However, she seemed to have been swayed by that woman.

“I’ll give you another half an hour. When the time is up, go to bed. Do you understand?”

Lindsay obediently nodded, knowing that Daddy had already been very tolerant and understanding toward her.

Half an hour later.

“Small kids shouldn’t stay late. Go to sleep.”

Lindsay glanced at the computer, then looked at Daddy, yawning and stretching lazily. She looked as adorable as a little kitten.

“You don’t allow me to help, but now you want to sleep when you see Daddy!

Lindsay covered her mouth and snickered, wondering if Daddy was jealous of Mommy.

Lindsay went forward and touched her daddy’s face. Her palm was warm as she said with a sweet smile.

“Daddy, is it warm? Hehehe.”

Listening to Lindsay’s melodious and enchanting voice, Randall’s eyes shimmered with emotion.

His precious daughter was finally willing to speak. Her voice was so pleasant to listen to, and her smile was so sweet.

It filled his heart with an overwhelming emotion and touched him deeply.

“Is this to make Daddy continue working overtime? Don’t worry. Daddy will clean up quickly and not let anyone off.”

“Daddy is so kind.”

Lindsay tried hard to tiptoe, but she still was not tall enough. Nevertheless, she stubbornly pouted her lips.

“Muah! Muah!”

His precious daughter blew him two kisses and warmed Randall’s heart.

He noticed his Lindsay had become much more cheerful since Christine and the two little boys appeared.

As long as she was happy.

“Got it. Go to bed.”

Lindsay nodded and said obediently, “Daddy, you rest early too.”

Did she say this to show that she was not too biased toward that woman and she still cared for her daddy?

His daughter still held him in her heart, and he should feel content.

“I know. Go to sleep now.”

Lindsay nodded and happily went back to her room to sleep.

At dawn, Randall finished dealing with all the trolls.

After such a long time, there should have been some results by now.

Randall dialed Derick’s number.

“Has Interpol managed to trace Shyy’s IP location?”

On the other end of the phone, Derick replied hesitantly, “Boss, Skyy’s IP location has been constantly changing, and the changes are very frequent. It has even covered 13 countries worldwide, with three having the highest frequency of occurrences. They’re Archiland, Honwales, and Cardolia. There’s no way to determine where he is at the moment.”

Randall sneered, confirming his thought. Indeed, these idiots could not catch Skyy, and they could not even pinpoint which country he was in.

“Yesterday, with such a large-scale attack, they couldn’t even locate which country he was in. They’re really trash”

Sensing the Boss’s wrath, Derick covered his eyes and said, ‘Boss, I’m sorry. I’ll push them harder. After all, it involves 200 million dollars, and I don’t think they dare to be negligent.”

Randall sneered. “In 2019, Skyy infiltrated the computer mainframe of Cardolia’s air defense command system, runimaging through data on other countries’ nuclear warheads. The military of Cardolia didn’t even catch a glimpse of him. In 2021, he hacked the system of Midovia’s securities exchange, planting digital bombs to destroy computer data. The FBI of Midovia couldn’t even figure out the lost data, let alone who did it. Each of these incidents had impacts far greater than 200 million dollars. Have you seen Skyy getting caught in any of these cases?”

Derick was lost for words. What the boss said was right. Compared to what Skyy did in the past, the 200 million dollars he transferred was simply insignificant.

“They can’t even locate the IP location. How can we expect them to find Skyy? What a joke!”

Randall did not expect the police of Archiland to locate Skyy but only hoped they could narrow the scope. It was indeed disappointing that they could not even accomplish this simple task.

Derick said in a panic, “Boss, what should we do now?”

“Skyy has been very active recently. Let Alaric set up tracking within our company’s protective net. When Skyy attacks again, we must locate his IP location! Otherwise, our company doesn’t need a mascot!”

Alaric was beside Derick at this moment. Last night, they were all searching for Skyy’s IP location.

They searched for the entire night but could not find it. Now that he heard what the boss said, he was about to cry.

Holding his phone, Derick looked at Alaric with a gloating smile, clearly deriving pleasure from the situation.

Randall’s eyes darkened. “Magnate, is there any movement lately?”

“Boss, I was about to report this to you. According to the intelligence, Magnate is now expanding a maritime transport

route.”

Randall furrowed his brows tightly. It seemed that he had suffered a setback from him previously and did not want to be restrained by him. That was why he wanted to expand his maritime transport on his own.

He wanted to leave himself a way out or, in other words, increase his leverage to challenge him.

It appeared that Magnate had not given up competing with him.

However, maritime transport was not something that one could easily set up at one’s whim.

It was indeed the “cheese” of their Reeves Group. Who dared to touch it?
