The Rejected Luna and Three Twin Babies by Bobavenus

Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Third person POV

“Hey Olivia, it’s okay if I get rejected,” Aldric said when he saw Olivia silent for a long time thinking about the offer to marry

Olivia lifted her gaze. She saw Aldric smiling at her. A warm smile that made Olivia feel even worse.

Olivia didn’t want to reject Aldric’s offer. It’s just… this is too sudden for her. Oliv felt that she was not ready yet.

“That’s not it…” Olivia couldn’t continue. Everything in her mind felt too difficult to express to Aldric.

“It’s okay.” Aldric scratched the nape of his neck which was not itchy. He smiled awkwardly. “I understand you’re too surprised. I’m the one who’s too weird,” he chuckled softly.

Olivia felt even worse. Aldric had saved her life from the black wolf, healed her and offered her in marriage with the sincerity of seeing the baby-to-be, Olivia was quite self-aware that Aldric wasn’t marrying her out of fondness.

“Sorry. But… I didn’t mean to reject you,” Oliv said with a downcast face.

Aldric laughed to break the atmosphere that felt awkward due to his crazy statement about marrying the beautiful wolf.

“Already, forget it.”

Aldric, let me explain so that there is no misunderstanding. I just… think that you don’t deserve me. Ah, no,” Olivia shook her head, correcting her words. “I’m the one who doesn’t deserve you. You’re too perfect, while I’m just an outcast Luna.”

Aldric looked surprised. “Luna? So you used to be Alpha’s mate? And the baby in your belly is Alpha’s

child?”

Olivia nodded as she bowed her head. “It’s a very long story. And sorry, I can’t tell it for now.”

“Yes, Olivia. Take it easy. I know you need time.”

Oliv’s heart warmed. Aldric had been so kind and considerate to the she-wolf. The man wasn’t even angry or offended.

“Moving on to the matter, I’m really not rejecting you, I don’t have the power to do that. It’s just that I don’t want you to be burdened with my three future babies,” Olivia said trying to explain as best she could. “It’s not your responsibility if you want to take care of them.”

Aldric smiled until his eyes narrowed. “Oliv, never mind. I get it, you’re a good woman wasted. Can I make

you an offer?”

Olivia worked her eyes. “What is it?” she asked nervously.

“Don’t you have a place to stay and pack wolf now!

“Yes, of course I don’t have a wolf pack at the moment. I’m Luna the outcast.””

Aldric tugged at the comers of his lips. He smiled happily. “Very well. This is a good time. Would you like to come live with me in the castle? I have a pretty strong pack in the world.”

Oliv’s eyes sparkled with happiness and disbelief. “Really? I… can stay and join your pack? Are you sure? Even though I’m an outcast Luna, also pregnant with a child.”

“Oliv, stop putting yourself down.”

For a moment Oliv was stunned by Aldric’s words which he thought were a fact.

“You are worthy, you are strong. I’ve seen you fight with that black wolf. Take it easy, there’s me who will always take care of you later,” Aldric continued to calm Oliv down.

“I… want to join. I promise to help your pack and be a good omega,” Oliv said with both hands clasped in the air with confidence and determination.

Olivia felt she couldn’t disappoint Aldric who had helped her so much, even though they were strangers who didn’t know each other at first.

“You don’t have to do all that, Oliv.”

Olivia shook her head. Still adamant about her stance. “I can cook, fight, clean the castle or whatever you tell me to do. I promise I’ll do my best!”

Aldric gave up trying to restrain Olivia who turned out to be quite stubborn. Aldric chuckled and nodded.

“Alright. I’ll trust you.”

There was silence after that. Nothing else felt necessary for them to talk about. To break the awkwardness, Aldric wanted to say goodbye.

“Wait here, I’ll bring you some drinks and food,” Aldric said as he moved away from Olivia.

“Wait… Aldric.”

Aldric who had reached the end of the door immediately turned his head, turning his body. He looked at Olivia with both eyebrows raised.

“Why are you so nice to me?” Olivia asked with intense curiosity. “You keep helping me when we don’t even know each other?”

Aldric chuckled. “Oh, that. I thought you were going to ask me about something. Am I good? Almost everyone knows me that way. I can’t see someone in trouble, especially if it’s a sincere person like you.”

After giving his answer. Aldric immediately left the room and closed the door. Leaving Olivia who felt extremely embarrassed and kept cursing herself for having the audacity to ask something that was not,

“Oliy is stup i d, you don’t even know him. He’s a good person, he probably does good things every day to other people, not just you?” Olivia monologued to herself. “You can be so overconfident. Who do you think you are? Just a stranger to him.”

Thinking about Aldric made her face red with embarrassment. Especially after Oliv asked just now.

“Ah, be grateful Oliv you have met a man as good as Aldric, he has done a lot of good for you and most importantly he gave you a place to live. That’s the most important thing for you, Oliv. So that you cant raise the children well,” Olivia’s advice which was again only intended for herself.

Olivia’s POV

My eyes widened as my feet stepped onto the large castle where Aldric had brought me. I even thought it was the same size as the castle where I lived with Alpha before. I was even more convinced that Aldric wasn’t from a random pack.

“Hey, why are you daydreaming?” Aldric said, snapping me out of my reverie.

“Ah, yes? Sorry.” I said looking at Aldric who invited me to go inside.

When we passed through the door, we were immediately greeted by the omegas of the castle. In fact, almost all the wolves, which turned out to be a very large number, welcomed us.

“Introducing, she is Olivia. She’s a she-wolf who will be joining our pack. She’s a good and strong woman, hope you can accept her well,” Aldric said, making my awkwardness disappear.

I looked at the wolf pack with an awkward face, they all looked at me with different looks. Some were surprised, some were ordinary, some seemed happy to welcome me.

“I-I’m Olivia Willders, I hope I can join and be a useful wolf and help your pack. Thank you…” I said nervously, but I got up the courage.

“Welcome, Olivia. We’re happy to have you, hopefully we can be good friends, they said, much to my relief.

Now Aldric looked at me. His warm smile was visible again. “You can stay wherever you want,” Aldric said which made me confused about where to be.

“I take my leave to rest,” he continued, nodded by me.

When Aldrig left, all the wolves left too. I was the only one left at the end of the room in confusion.

This was not my favorite atmosphere. Tired of actually having to adapt again. Even though I had loved. being Luna in my castle before, they were all good people. I thought so, but I felt betrayed when I found out that they were all hiding their other Luna, Belle.

Remembering Arthur’s betrayal of me made my eyes dewy. I looked down, rubbing my already slightly shaped stomach.

“You guys are my luck, because of you, I immediately got a new place to live even though it still feels strange…” I said as I gently rubbed them, as if I could feel my future baby hearing his mother’s voice.

“Hello!”

I looked up when I heard a female voice. A she-wolf I didn’t recognize was walking towards me with a cheerful face. Something caught my attention; the bulge of her belly.

She was… pregnant like me?
