Chapter TEN-MEETING WITH ROGUES
Silas POV
I was sitting in Blake's office at the Lotus Shadow pack.
"What do you know about the Blue Eclipse pack?"
"How many warriors?"
"Who's the current Alpha? Strengths and Weakness?" I asked Blake as he looked at me, confused. I sighed.
"Please tell me you know at least something, Blake!" I growled, and he shook his head and shrugged.
"This is pointless. How are we supposed to get Rachel and Sarah back?"
"If we don't know what we are up against!" I shouted, and Blake just sat there.
"I have a few allied packs I can call," Blake mentioned as I looked at him.
"Who?" I asked.
"Well, there's the Night Walker pack, the Wind Howler pack, and the Stone Valley pack," Blake said. My eyes widened when he mentioned Stone Valley, and I groaned.
"Anybody but Stone Valley. I heard Alpha Simon is a psycho piece of shit," Blake laughed as I stared at him.
"That's precisely why we may need him."
"He may be psycho, but his battle skills and warriors are useful," I sighed and grunted.
"Let's leave him out for now. What about if we hired rogues?" I asked, looking at Blake.
"That could work just to see how well-trained and organized Blue Eclipse is."
"We can always replace rogues for the right price," I said as he smirked.
"Let's go for a ride," Blake said as he stood up, and I followed.
"To where?" I asked as he looked at me and grinned.
"You'll see," he mentioned as we walked out of the office and headed toward the foyer.
We walked outside, and Blake motioned for one of the warriors and whispered something in his ear. I watched as he walked off and went toward the garage. A few minutes later, a black SUV came our way. The same warrior Blake had spoken to was in the driver's seat as Blake and I got in the back.
"Head to Dallas's Place," Blake told the warrior as he nodded, and we sped off.
An hour later, we were pulling up to some run-down club that looked more like a shack falling apart, called "Dallas's Place."
Blake and I exited the SUV while the warrior stayed inside.
"Follow me," Blake said as I followed him inside the bar.
Once inside, I was immediately hit with the stench of rogues.
"What the fuck?" I said as Spike growled.
"Blake Sullivan?" I heard a deep southern voice.
A tall, burly man with long silver hair in a ponytail and dark brown, almost black eyes staring at us.
"Dallas Connors, long time no see," Blake chuckled.
"Who the fuck was this guy?" I thought as Blake and the Dallas guy sat at the table at the far end of the corner.
I pulled out a chair and stuck my hand out to Dallas, as he just looked at it.
"My name is..." he scoffed and laughed.
"I know who you are, young Alpha Cartier."
"My question is, what are you doing with this prick?" he chuckled as I stared at him.
"How do..." he laughed again.
"How do I know who you are?"
"That's easy because I knew your Father."
"Before becoming a rogue, I was a warrior in the Redwood pack before Waylon became an Alpha, and his Father banished me," Dallas said, smirking.
My eyes widened as he spoke.
"Yea, Wayne Moonstone was a real piece of shit and a hard ass," Dallas chuckled.
"Why did he banish you?" I asked him as he glared at me.
"Let's just say Wayne's Luna Crystal and I had a history," he chuckled as my eyes widened.
"So, what brings Blake Sullivan and Soren Cartier's son into my establishment?" he asked as I looked at Blake.
Blake POV
"We are looking to hire rogues to help us fight the Blue Eclipse pack and get my Luna and daughter back," I said. I watched as Dallas's eyes widened, and he grunted.
"You must have a death wish, Blake," Dallas sighed.
"My only advice to you is. Let them go and move on with your life."
"You, too, Silas, going up against the Blue Eclipse pack is suicide," I growled at Dallas as he looked at me.
"Why should we let them go?"
"What is it about Blue Eclipse that we don't know?" I asked Dallas and watched him sigh.
"I will tell you a story, and what you do with the information I'm about to give you is on the two of you," he said with a serious face.
"Alpha Antonio is the current Alpha of Blue Eclipse, along with his Luna Staci."
"Do you know why Blue Eclipse is well respected and a well-established pack of over five thousand members?" my eyes widened as Silas and I shook our heads.
"Alpha Antonio's last name is Silva," Dallas said as I shook my head.
"Okay, so what's your point?" Dallas sighed and rubbed his hand through his greasy ponytail.
"The Alpha is a descendant of royal blood, you idiot."
"His Great-Grandfather was Alexander Silva, and his Grandfather was Adonis Silva."
"Long ago, when Selene created the first werewolf, she blessed this wolf's bloodline with incredible strength and speed."
Making him the first werewolf King."
"Those born from his bloodline are also blessed with these gifts."
"So, the Silva bloodline is the last of his descendants," Dallas said, leaning back in his chair with his arms folded.
My eyes widened as Dallas spoke of the royal bloodied wolves.
"His Luna is a white wolf and the sister to the Alpha of the Crescent Moon pack," I laughed as he spoke.
"That's just a myth. Everyone knows the white wolves perished when that vampire killed the whole pack in one night," I said as Dallas glared at me.
"You didn't pay much attention in Alpha training, did you, Blake?" he asked as my eyes widened.
"The one thing Blane mentioned about white wolves went through your thick head," Dallas said.
"So, it's true? Alpha Antonio is mated to a female white wolf?" I asked, and he nodded.
"The only female white wolf in existence," Dallas smirks.
"So, if you plan to attack their pack, you better be prepared to have your asses handed to you," Dallas said as I sighed.
I heard a grunt and looked at Silas.
"What's so special about white wolves?" he asked as Dallas chuckled.
"You didn't pay attention either, young Alpha."
"White wolves are special wolves created by Selene to have special powers, like earth, air, fire, and water."
"They can also have visions and possess other unique powers. At least I know Alpha Antonio's Luna can," Dallas said as Silas's eyes widened.
Dallas laughed as he looked at both of us.
"Good luck finding rogues willing to die for a useless cause. No one dares go against the Blue Eclipse pack and lives to tell about it."
"Now that I'm interested, why do you want to fight with them again? Just enlighten me." He stared at us as he waited for an answer.
"You know Rachel is my daughter," I told Dallas as he nodded.
"Well, she was supposed to be my son-in-law's chosen mate here, Silas," I pointed to Silas.
"Okay, I get that, so why is she not here with him? And why did Sarah reject you?" Dallas asked. I sighed as he stared.
"Rachel met her mate at the mating ball, and Sarah discovered some things that made her reject me and move to Blue Eclipse," I said as Dallas laughed.
"Well, sorry to tell you this, Silas, but you are fucked," Silas looked at him and growled.
"Why is that?" he asked as Dallas laughed.
"Because it appears your dear chosen mate is the next Luna to the Blue Eclipse pack," Dallas laughed as Silas growled.
"What do you mean next, Luna?" I asked as Dallas wiped a tear from his eye.
"Alpha Antonio and Luna Staci's eldest son Ace is next in line to take the Alpha title, and he's a white wolf like his Mother," Dallas said, smirking.
Silas growled and threw the chair against the wall, and it smashed into pieces.
"Hey, don't destroy my place, kid!" Dallas shouted.
"How did you come by this information, Dallas?" I asked as he looked at me.
"Rogues talk, Blake, but mistreated pack members talk louder," he said as he looked at Silas.
"Why are you looking at me like that!" Silas growled.
"Because it appears some of your pack members are questioning your ability to lead as an Alpha and how you sleep around with many of the un-mated she-wolves in your pack."
"A few frequent here, and the conversations don't go unnoticed," Dallas told Silas.
Dallas smirked as Silas growled and walked out of the club.
"Sorry I couldn't be of more help, Blake."
"I wish you the best of luck," He chuckled as he got out of his seat and went behind the bar.
I sighed and walked out. I watched Silas pacing in front of the SUV and mumbling to himself.
"Psst, hey you," I heard a voice and turned to see a dirty-looking rogue with dark brown hair and gray eyes.
"What do you want?" I asked him as he stood by the side of the building, smoking a cigarette.
"To help you, buddy," he smirked as his yellow-stained teeth showed.
"Why would you help me? You don't know me," I chuckled as he stepped forward.
"I heard you talking to Dallas in there, and I have a personal vendetta against the Blue Eclipse pack. I want what is owed to me. So, we can help each other," he said as he puffed out smoke.
Silas POV
I saw Blake talking to a rogue and walked over,
"Who is this?" I asked as Blake looked at me.
"My name isn't important. How I can be of service is," he smiled, and his teeth showed, making me want to puke.
"What do you want?" I asked the dirty and smelly rogue.
"To get my revenge on the Blue Eclipse pack and to help you get your lady loves back," He chuckled as I looked at him.
"That's all?" I asked him as he glared at me.
"Blue Eclipse took everything from me."
"My family won't even see me because of what they were told I did!" he shouted as Blake and I stared.
"How many of you are there? And what's your asking price?" he chuckled.
"You say that as if you can afford us, young Alpha," I growled.
"I can! Just name your price rogue!" I snarled as he growled.
"Five thousand each, and as far as the rogues are concerned, there are five hundred of us right now. But we can always get more," he smirked, and I tried not to gag.
"That will work. Meet us back here in four days."
"We will have your money then," I said as he chuckled and held out his hand.
"Deal," he said as he smirked, and I shook his hand.
Blake and I headed back toward the SUV as he signaled the warrior to return to Lotus Shadow.
"Do you think he is worth it?" Blake asked as I looked at him from the side.
"What does it matter if they all die?"
"One less rogue to worry about," I looked over at Blake, who shrugged as we headed back to the pack.
"I'm coming for you, Rachel. You will be my mate and Luna if it's the last thing I do," I thought as Spike growled.
