Chapter EIGHT-BLAKE AND SILAS FIND OUT
Blake POV
Silas and I were out at Helena's coven buying the potion to use to our advantage as we pleased. I chuckled as we brought ten potions each.
"By the way, you use this potion, Blake."
"You might as well reject your mate and sleep with whomever you want," Helena cackled. Boulder released a fierce growl and grabbed her by her neck.
"Listen here bitch. I will never reject my mate as long as I live."
"Torturing her pleases me because she is so obedient," Boulder growled.
She flicked her wrist and sent me flying across the room. I landed on the ground and growled as she dusted off her dress.
"Never underestimate me, Blake."
"Next time you attempt to grow a brain, I will sever your man parts and use them in my potions," she said, cackling. Silas stood by with a smirk.
Boulder growled in my head.
"One day, I will rip that bitch apart," he said.
Even though she is a dark witch, Helena is beautiful and powerful. She is one of those witches you don't cross unless you want to lose your life.
"How much for this batch?" Silas asked her.
I watched as she tapped her finger on her chin and thought about the price.
"Five hundred for the whole batch, young Alpha," she smirked at Silas and clicked her tongue. She leaned forward.
"It's too bad you want to mate with that pig of an Alpha's daughter."
"I would love to show you a few tricks, young Alpha," Silas's eyes widened as Helena smirked at him.
He looked back at me and smiled as I sighed.
"You have twenty minutes, Silas," I told him as Helena took his hand and led him to the back room.
A few minutes later, I heard moaning and growling.
"That is just fucking gross" my wolf stuck his tongue out, and I chuckled.
"The boy is young. Leave him be, Boulder," I said and sighed.
I heard the desk being scrapped across the floor and Helena screaming.
"SILAS!! Fuck!" I cringed.
"Okay, I've heard enough."
"Let's go outside before I puke," Boulder said, and I laughed.
I walked outside, stood by the SUV, and waited. Silas stepped outside and fixed his clothes a while later. Helena wore a black and purple cloak. You could tell she was naked underneath. She grabbed his hand and turned him to face her as she kissed his lips.
"Thanks for that, young Alpha," she said as she ran her tongue along his neck.
"Yuck," Boulder said.
"Come back and see me anytime," she winked and made a card appear in his hand as she walked inside and closed the door.
Silas walked toward the SUV as I got in on the driver's side, and he got in on the passenger side.
"How old is she?" he asked as we pulled out of Helena's driveway.
"Old enough to be your great-great-great grandmother," I told him as he smirked.
We were driving back to the pack when I felt the bond breaking. Someone left the pack, and Boulder howled. I swerved the SUV to the side and stopped.
"What the fuck is going on, Blake?" I heard Silas ask, but I wasn't paying attention as I felt another bond break and then another.
Boulder howled as he felt the bond breaking from rejection, and I knew then it was Sarah.
"Sarah just rejected me!" I shouted and looked at Silas. I grabbed my chest as the pain coursed through my body.
"What the fuck do you mean she rejected you?"
"Why would she unless..." I looked at him as something clicked in his head.
"Did anyone leave the pack?" he asked.
"Yes, three," I said as he growled.
"Move! I'll drive!" he shouted as we switched seats.
Silas was like a possessed man on a mission. We had arrived back at the Lotus Shadow pack house as Silas stepped on the brakes, and the SUV slid to a stop.
Silas POV
I bolted out of the SUV and ran inside the pack house as warriors surrounded it as if we were being attacked. I ran upstairs to Rachel's room. Her scent was faint, but it was there as I slammed the door open.
"RACHEL?!" I shouted.
I looked around the room and noticed the empty drawers. I walked to the closet, swung the door open, and saw missing clothes.
"She's gone," Spike growled.
"Where the fuck is she?!" I snarled and left her bedroom. I ran downstairs and saw Blake talking to his warriors.
"She's not here, and clothes and personal items are missing from her room," I said as Blake looked at me.
"Same with Sarah's belongings," he said.
"What the fuck happened here?!" I growled at the warriors present.
"We don't know, Alpha Cartier."
"We felt the bond break of three people leaving the pack and the faint scents of the Luna, Rachel, and possibly an omega leaving along the northern border," one of the warriors said, making Spike snarl, and he crouched back.
"Show us," I growled as he led us outside and to the north border.
Sure enough, all three scents lined up with his story. They were faint but still there. We searched the area and found three smashed phones on the ground. I picked up the pieces and cursed.
"Which pack is closet this way?" I asked as Blake looked at me.
"Dark Moon," he said.
"Why would they go there?" I thought.
I paced back and forth, trying to figure out why all three would go to the Dark Moon pack.
"You are all dismissed, and I want you to find out which omega is missing," Blake said.
"Yes, Alpha," the warriors bowed and walked off.
"What are you thinking, Silas?" Blake asked me as I turned to him.
"We should tell him," Spike said as I stood before Blake.
"Yesterday, Rachel went to the mating ball at Blue Eclipse and found her mate," I told Blake as his eyes widened.
"Did she reject him?" I nodded as he sighed.
"So why leave when she has you," he said as I growled.
"Because I slapped her and almost raped her for disobeying me," I told him as he growled, grabbed me by my collar, and got in my face.
"You hit my daughter?!" Blake snarled as I laughed in his face and shoved him off of me.
"That's rich coming for you."
"So now you want to be the concerned Dad when you have never shown compassion or love for Rachel because she isn't the beloved son you crave," I said as he growled at me.
"You also cheat on your fated mate."
"Just because you have a title and rank, you need to fuck whomever you want," I said as he lunged for me, and I side-stepped him.
"Watch your tone with me, boy."
"You are in the same boat as I am."
"You also lost Rachel," he laughed, and I scoffed.
"I can get her back. If she doesn't come willingly, I'll make her," I said as he growled.
"We need each other, Blake, so man the hell up, and let's think about this," I told him as he calmed down.
"So, I'm going to say that either Sarah or Rachel heard us talking in your office, fled the pack, and headed toward Dark Moon, but why?" Blake shrugged.
"Wait, didn't you say her mate was at Blue Eclipse?" he asked as I nodded.
"They're heading for Blue Eclipse."
"We must get them back!" I growled.
"Silas, calm down. We will, but I also noticed their faint scents in my office and..." he paused and looked at me.
"What? What is it?" I asked as he growled and sprinted toward the pack house as I followed.
Blake slammed open his office door and started searching through his cabinets and drawers.
"What are you looking for?" I asked as he growled.
"They're gone!" he shouted.
"What is?" I asked as he turned and looked at me.
"The deeds to the Lotus Shadow are gone! Sarah took them!" he shouted as my eyes widened.
"So? You are the Alpha; what does..." he growled.
"I may be the Alpha, but everything about Lotus Shadow belongs to Sarah."
"She is the rightful heir, and her Father left everything to her!" he roared as my eyes widened.
We were both fucked if both women were gone along with the deeds, stating that Sarah is the pack's rightful heir.
