Chapter 24
“What did you dream about that night Jack?” Dr. Richards asked.
Jack crossed his arms as if thinking very carefully about what he was going to say.
“Do you want to talk about it?” She prompted in a purposely stereotypical therapist fashion.
“No, I don’t think we are far enough into the story where it would be appropriate, or make sense. I think it would be a distraction, as I’m sure you would like to explore the dream further. Now is not the time.” Jack said.
“Okay. Just let me know whenever you feel comfortable and we can revisit it.”
“I will. Do you want me to continue, or do you need to do any of your doctor duties?”
The doctor felt as though she was getting close to some important information and did not want to stop Jack’s momentum. She also couldn’t deny that he was an intense personality, who is good with words.
“Not just yet. Please continue.” She said with actual interest.
Jack took a sip of water from the paper cup the doctor had brought him the last time she came back.
“Onward then.”
