The Point of Fate

Chapter Chapter Five

I spent the whole day in my room, packing my things and trying not to break. My mom and dad weren’t letting me stay because they thought that moving in with Nate and Damon was the proper way to go about the situation. I had tears in my eyes when I went into my room and found boxes with some of my stuff in them. Tears poured down my cheeks as I packed, but after an hour the tears stopped and the anger set in. I finished packing by the end of the day and had piled my boxes into my brothers truck. He drove me to the pack house and helped me put my things into my new room which was in between Nate’s and Damon’s.

They had a seperate house away from the actual pack house and had me move in with them. I settled into my new bed by midnight and tried to relax. The boys got home thirty minutes later and immeadiatly came up to my room. I turned away from the door and pretended to be asleep.

“Louie?” Damon asked. “Louie?”

“Damon, lets come back in the morning, let her sleep.” Nate said.

I heard a low growl from Damon but neither stepped forward to wake me.

“Fine...” Damon sighed.

They both left and shut the door behind them. I slowly drifted to sleep knowing tomorrow was going to be a pain.

Next day

I woke up with the sun streaming in through my window. I looked around and thanked God that they weren’t in my room. I went to the bathroom and checked my neck. The bruising from Damon’s bite was gone for which I was thankful for. I changed out of my pj’s and into day clothes which were a pair of knee-length denim shorts and a light blue shirt. I slowly slipped out of my room and tip-toed down the stairs to the kitchen. There was no one around when I made my way down the stairs and I let out a sigh of relief. They must still be asleep, I thought. I fixed myself some cereal and sat down at the counter to eat.

“Good morning Louie.” I heard a voice behind me.

I turned to see a tired Nate leaning in the kitchen doorway.

“Morning...” I mumbled.

“How are you?” He asked quietly.

I glared at him and scowled.

“What?” He asked squirming under the heated glare.

“Why would you ask such a dumb question?” I snapped.

“Because I care and I want to know whats wrong.” He said taking a seat next to me.

I grabbed my bowl after I finished and took it to the sink. I rinsed it and left it in the sink.

“Louie...” Nate sighed. “Tell me what you’re thinking...please...”

“You want to know what I’m thinking? I feel betrayed, hurt, lost, completely broken and so stressed I feel like pulling out my hair.”

“Why?”

“You’re serious right?” I paused to calm down a bit. “My own parents wouldn’t let me make the decision of moving out. They kicked me out! I didn’t even do anything bad! I’m hurt for the fact they turned their backs on me and the way Damon treats me. I feel lost because my own mind is a jumbled mess because everything is happening so fast. Broken because one of my mates attacked me and wasn’t very nice about it. All those things are causing me to stress out.”

“Come here.” He said with a calm look on his face.

I shook my head. He stood up and came over to me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to him in a calm, relaxing hug. All my stress melted away as he wrapped his arms around me. I sighed happily and hugged him back.

“I know this is all happening so fast, and believe me when I say, Damon didn’t get an ounce of sleep last night. He wanted to wake you up so he could apologize but I told him to let you sleep.”

“I know...I was awake.” I murmur against his chest.

“Oh...” He sighs.

“Where is Damon?” I asked pulling away from him.

“He went out of a run. He should be back any minute.” He replied.

With that said, I heard the back door open and saw Damon walk into the house. He froze when he saw me. Guilt and hurt washed over his face. He walked over, grabbing me from Nate and wrapped his arms around me.

“I am so sorry Louie. You have no idea. Lucian is sorry also. He couldn’t stop himself. He didn’t realized we had hurt you until it was too late.” He pause to breath. “Louie, will you ever forgive me?” He pulled back and looked at me. His eyes were glazing with fresh tears.

I nodded and hugged him. “I forgive you.” He sighed with relief and let go.

We walked into the living room and sat down. I sat in between them and they sandwhiched me. Nate put on a movie and we all watched silently. Nate starred at the screen with his mouth a little open. I giggled and pushed his chin up. He looked at me and blushed, from being slightly embarassed. Then we went back to watching the movie. Then I heard my phone ring from upstairs. I looked at the guys but they didn’t let go. I kissed them both on the cheeks and slipped from their arms and ran upstairs. I reached my phone just in time and answered it.

“Hello?”

“Louie! I’m so glad to hear your voice!” Amelia squealed. “OMG! I can’t believe you didn’t call me yesterday! Everyone is talking about you, Damon, and Nate!”

“Calm down!” I sighed. “Geeze woman.”

“Details! Now!”

I told her about everything that had happened since the party.

“Oh my God. That is so crazy.” She said.

“Tell me about it.”

Then my door opened and the boys came in. They looked at me with need.

“Uh, Ames, I gotta go. I’ll call you later, okay?”

She sighed. “Fine...But don’t leave me out on anything new.”

“Bye.” I said laughing at her

“Bye!” She said as I hung up.

“What?” I asked looking at them and setting the phone on the nightstand.

They looked at each other, then at me and smiled.

“That look, gives me the creeps.” I said.

This was going to be a long night.
