Chapter 100 - Destroyed
The castle was ruined, plunder taken and warlocks slaughtered in the fit of Ares' fury. Ozenzo is outnumbered as he has been surrounded by the gods. He had no choice but to surrender. "It's over Ozenzo," said Ares. Ares then turned to the other gods and instructed them to take Ozenzo captive and the rest of the warlocks that have surrendered.
"This is beyond been over, Ares."
Ozenzo never expected the defeat. He was so confident in the fortified castle. But Ares has proven to him that even the most fortified castle can be breached.
Thanks to the ways of the mortals he learned over the years while in the sky with the other gods.
Ares glances at Ozenzo and then said to the gods, "Get him out of here."
Hastily, two gods sheathed their swords and dragged Ozenzo to his feet. He has been on his knee all this while and so is the rest of the warlocks who chose to surrender other than embracing death by Ares' sword. ...Outside the Log Cabin...
The chief couldn't endure the torment of the sun. He gave up and finally told John where Bonnie is. "Behind the cabin, there's a bunker. Inside the bunker lies your companion."
John tossed him to the ground and quickly made his way to the bunker. On getting to the entrance of the bunker, he realized the iron door was locked with a chain. He didn't have that time to go back to the chief for the key, so he blasted open the door with a fireball from his wand.
Hastily, he made his way into the bunker. There was no sign of Bonnie as the chief foretold. Could this be another lie from him? John was already losing his patience. He's done playing nice with the chief. As he turned to head out, he caught a glimpse of a coffin behind a wooden table.
"What the hell!"
He quickly made his way to the coffin. Without any second thought, he opened the coffin only to reveal Bonnie. She looks dry as one with no blood and there was a wooden stake impaled through her arms and lower abdomen.
Stakes were originally very long and spear-like and meant to pin vampires to the ground so they couldn't get out of a coffin. The chief didn't just stab her heart, he just pinned the whole body down so she couldn't escape. Only a stake through the heart of a vampire that is not an original vampire can kill the vampire.
The chief believes that one of the methods of preventing vampires included burying the bodies face-down and decapitation, which often included stuffing the severed head's mouth with garlic or bricks. But in the case of Bonnie, he chose to pin her to a coffin.
"Son of a bitch!"
John wasn't happy seeing what the chief did to Bonnie. She looks as if she was decaying. He quickly carried Bonnie out from the coffin and removed the wooden stake after placing her on the wooden table.
He has no idea what to do next. He only stared waiting for her to revive.
"If you want her back, feed her with blood," said the chief as he makes his way towards John.
"Son of a bitch," John swirled. He frowns at the chief for putting Bonnie in that condition. "What stops me from killing you now?"
"I know you are not a killer."
"Then don't force my hands."
"If you don't dip blood into her mouth she will never wake up."
"There's no blood bank here fool!"

"Feed her with yours or kiss her goodbye."
The chief approached a shelf and then brought out a dagger. He then makes his way to John and handed him the dagger.
"What's this for?" asked John. He was looking confused and have no idea what the dagger is for.
"Cut yourself and feed her with your blood."
...Zeus' Palace...
"Ares, you have done us well," said Zeus as he shook hands with Ares. "You have brought victory to us and from ages to ages, your victory will never be forgotten."
"I am honored and now we shall reign and the mortals will see why we should be reverenced and worshipped," said Ares boastfully. Ares has just returned from his conquest. The surrendered warlocks have been locked up including the warlock lord, Ozenzo. But one thing still bothers Ares. He glances at Zeus and opens his mouth to speak, "I am still bothered about Neena. She's nowhere to be found only the dead body of our fellow gods who I believed was slew by her." "Let that not bother you. I have sent your sister, Eris to hunt her down and I know she will not fail us. With Neena under our grasp, we will have nothing to worry about again. Right now, we need to feast for your conquest." ...At the Bunker...
After John has fed her with his blood, her decaying body started returning to its normal appearance. John glances at the chief and fired a troubling question that has been on his mind since he was handed a dagger, "Can a vampire survive on other vampires' blood?"
"Yes. Vampires can drink vampires' blood, but it won't make them survive. It is not proper nourishment. It even has an intoxicating effect on them and may provoke paranoia. That's why you needed to feed her your own blood." "Why help me after you put her in this state?"
"Let's say I was wrong."
"Is that an apology or what?"
"A kind of."
"Then you must be insane thinking she will forgive you after putting her deep to sleep. I myself won't forgive you."
"I know that and that's why I came to help after I realized my mistakes."
"I know when a man sounds like this. He must be in need of something. What's it you want? Spill it out!"
"I saw how you blasted the iron door with a magic wand. I came to realize you must have possessed the power of a witch for you to have a wand in your possession."
John couldn't make any sense of what's on the chief's mind. With his hands spread he yelled, "So?"
"Perhaps you can enchant on a lapis lazuli stone for me. I want to be able to walk under the sun like Bonnie."
John takes a few steps closer to the chief. He glared at him and then brought his face close to his. "After what you did to her, you want my help, huh? How about, hell to the no, huh?"
