Chapter 9: Monster Life
It was now Sunday, and Eliza and Evie were about to go visit their monster friends in Tynix. Eliza got dressed in a dark blue, leopard patterned blouse that was off the shoulders, white leopard print jeggings, black high top wedges, and had her black hair down and wavy while adding dark cobalt blue streaks. She wore some black eye-shadow with winged eyeliner and mascara, dark blue lipstick, and lightly pink, pale blush. Evie wore a dark, emerald green tank top under a black tank top that had designed holes, dark purple jeans that had two zippers on each leg, black combat boots, and had her black and green hair in a ponytail. She had some dark green, sparkly eye-shadow, light peach lip-gloss, and cream blush.
“Ready to go?” asked Evie.
“Totally.” said Eliza then Evie took out the blue, gold, and silver flower gem from the family picture then placed it on the wall before turning it clockwise, revealing the blue door like before.
They opened the door and went to Tynix. When they arrived, they heard a feminine howl that belonged to none other than Christina and Hayleen Wolf; Hayleen was the younger sister and child, well pup.
“Hey, Ghouls, it’s nice to see you again.” Said Christina, giving them a hug.
“You too, Christi.” said Eliza, then they go to where the monster gang, which were by a shady tree, they consisted of Chad, Danielle, Gilbert (Gill for short), Elizabat, and of course, Christina and Hayleen.
“Hey guys.” said Evie.
“Evie! Eliza! You’re back!” exclaimed Danielle, while hugging them, she was the shortest in the group by 4′9.
“Oh. MY. Raw! I love your outfit!” said Cleo, while coming over to examine them more.
“Thanks, a certain werewolf inspired me to design them.” said Eliza.
“Wait, you mean you were inspired by me!?” asked Christina, and she nodded. Christina howled with excitement.
“I’m so honored. Thank you.” she said, while hugging her.
“So is M.H out or...” asked Evie.
“Uhh... I don’t remember, Fraya?” said Danielle as she played with Chad in a game of fetch.
“By my calculations, we’re out for Spring Break four days from now, so no to your question, Evie.” said Fraya.
“What about you girls?” asked Gil.
“We’re still in school for another few weeks until the 25th.” said Eliza.
“Bummer, dude.” said Drake.
“Now, let’s stop sitting around and go have some monster fun.” said Hayleen and Chad howled.
“Great idea, little sis. Let’s go to Skull Shores.” he said.
“Okay, sure.” said everyone, then they all go and get ready. When they arrive on Skull Shores in Layla’s family yacht, Evie was wearing a green and black one piece swimsuit that was sparkly, her hair was in a braided bun with strands on each cheek, and black flip-flop wedges. Eliza was wearing a two piece, royal blue swimsuit, silver flip-flop wedges, her hair in a french braid over her shoulder, a white multi-colored, Chiffon, silk plate beach towel tied around her waist, which had silver snowflakes and stars. Danielle wore a hot pink one piece swimsuit that had black hearts with wings on them, pink flip-flop wedges, and her hair was in a ponytail. Christina’s swimsuit was a purple two piece, purple flip-flop wedges, a silk towel around her waist that was gold with black paw prints on them, and her hair was down and wavy. Layla wore a pair of ocean blue, scaly shorts, with a scaly, light pink swim top on, her hair was down and a bit wavy, and light blue flip-flops.
Cleo wore a sparkly, golden one piece swimsuit with Nile blue sparkles, golden wedged slippers, with a Nile green, thin, silk robe for the beach, with her hair in a messy bun. Danielle stayed on the yacht with Cleo and Gil, while Eliza took off her towel and went with Christina, Layla, and Evie as they grabbed their surfboards and went into the water.
“Hey, Drake, how much do you want to bet that Eliza’s going to beat both of them?” asked Chad.
“Twenty dollars, and if I win, you have to run, and get me a cup of lemonade.” said Drake, then they all watched as the three girls began to surf. Since Eliza was at the back of the two girls, she whistled into the water as dolphins began to pop up, two came up and she told them to playfully knock Evie off and they did, sending her splashing into the water. Then, it left Eliza and Layla standing.
“You’re going down, mate!” yelled Layla through the wavy ocean tides.
“I don’t think so!” Eliza yelled back before doing a phantom shark spin around Layla, splashing water onto her board, then did a back 7 while bumping Layla’s board enough to make her fall into the waves. The girls came back to shore and dried off their hair, while Eliza smiled a bit knowing that she won as they went up to the yacht.
“Ha! Pay up dude.” said Chad, then rake rolled eyes under his shades while giving him twenty dollars, then went to grab him a cup of lemonade.
“You were fangtastic! Both of you! No, wait, all three of you! Group hug!” cheered Danielle, then she, Eliza, Evie, and Layla did a group hug. After they had a fun time decorating with shells, making sand castles, cheering on the guys as they did jet ski races, swimming, and doing a bonfire, Evie got a call from her mom.
“Hey, mom. What’s up?” she asked.
“I need you to come over real quick. I need to tell you something.” said Eva.
“Uh, okay. Be right there.” she said, before hanging up.
“What’s up?” asked Eliza.
“Mom wants to see me at home. B. R. B.” said Evie, before using the gem flower from before to teleport back home.

*Evie's P.o.v*
I wonder what mom wanted to talk about if she didn’t want to say it over the phone. When I had arrived home, I saw my mom sitting on the couch waiting for me.
“Hey, mom, what is it that you called me for?” I asked then she pulls out a black invitation letter and inside were gold letters and gave it to me. The letter said:
You have been invited to Princess Sophia’s Sweet 16 birthday party.
Where: Palace
When: 11:45 a.m.
Dress-code: White, Black, and Red
There will be music, food, and games. Remember, bring a gift.
After I read it, I asked my mom a question.
“Who’s Princess Sophia?” I asked.
“Your new cousin.” she said. I wasn’t surprised, but I was shocked.
“The reason I called you was because her parents, your uncle and aunt, want live music. I told them about you being friends with a famous person, and they asked if she could come.” she said.
“You mean Eliza?” I asked.
“No, I mean Victoria. Eliza can’t know she has another sister after all she’s been through.” she said.
“But once she’s there won’t her parents recognize her and vise versa?” I asked.
“I hope not, so do you think you can ask ”Victoria" if she’d like to come and play?” she asked. In my head I’m thinking this is so wrong, and all the wrong things that could go wrong.
“I-I-I could ask her, but I-I think so?” I said.
“Wonderful! I’ll call my sister and tell her she said yes!” she squealed, before leaving to call my aunt, and in my head I’m thinking that Eliza, I mean "Victoria" hasn’t even said yes. Sighing, I took the flower gem out, and went back to the beach where the others were at an intense game of volleyball.

After Eliza struck the ball and earned her team a point, they called for a quick break.
“Hey, what did your mom call you for?” she asked.
“Um, she has a friend whose daughter is having a birthday party in a week and a day, and asked if you could perform, well she asked “Victoria” if she could perform. Do you wanna go?” asked Evie.
“Sure, it’ll give me a quick warm up before my Halloween concert. As long as there’s chocolate, I’ll be counting that as my payment. When is it and is there a dress code?” she asked.
“It’s at 11:45 a.m, so come twenty minutes before since you’ll be with your “parents” at this time. And the dress code is white, black, and red.” said Evie.
“Okay.” she said as she placed it into her schedule, and a reminder to call her manager later. After they resumed the game of volleyball, Cleo’s team, which was consisted of the following: Cleo, Drake, Layla, Evie, and Hayleen won, they went back to Tynix. As they were walking, they saw posters of Princess Sophia, which made the wolf siblings snarl, Danielle hiss, and Fraya’s bolts spark.
“What’s wrong?” asked Eliza.
“It’s that snobby ghoul, Sophia.” said Hayleen.
“You guys don’t like her?” asked Eliza.
“Of course not, we hate her. She’s rude, snobby, obnoxious, petty, and is a disgrace to the royal family.” hissed Danielle.
“When I get my claws on that girl, she’ll be in shreds.” snarled Christina.
“She does look fake if you ask me, but shake it off, that’s what I do. She won’t bother you guys.” said Eliza.
“That’s not what bothers us the most, it’s the fact that she has no special power, no monster part in her AT ALL. She thinks she can rule over an entire kingdom of monsters, hybrids, and people with incredible powers. Idiotic brat.” said Cleo.
“Okay, that’s really stupid. I’d understand if she had even the smallest kind power, but she doesn’t. Me and Evie have to get home, we’ll see you guys later.” said Eliza, before she and Evie teleport back home through the door-made passage by the flower gem.
“Have fun at Tynix?” asked Eric, Evie’s dad.
“Yeah, and now I’m tired.” said Evie.
“Okay, go change and come down for dinner.” said her mom, and the girls. After they ate dinner, they went to sleep.
