The Other Side Of The Story

"Alex , i think you really need to calm down before you kill someone" Cedric said for the thousand time trying to calm me down it was after class had ended and we were standing in the courtyard ,Harry hasn't showed up till now and for all i knew he could be expelled and it all thanks to Malfoy , i think you could tell why i was pissed

"well , i'm not gonna kill him , i want to just kick that stupid, good for nothing, evil , big head of his off his shoulders ... thinking of it , yeah maybe i do want to kill him after all" i said as a evil smile appeared on my lips

"oh someone got a bad temper" he said and chuckled

"you have no idea " i laughed as well "but what can i say i got it from my dad along with the stubbornness ,a really bad mix if you ask me, you better wish you're not around when we are fighting , one time we had this huge fight , it ended with the whole neighbour hood at our door thinking there was some kind of war inside" we laughed harder at that

"well let's cross our fingers that never happen again" he chuckled

"hey nice job out there"

"yeah , it was bloody brilliant"

"how did you do it?" a group of kids cheered as they passed us , i didn't know anyone of them and i'm sure as hell they weren't with us in class they looked much older

"how did they..." i trailed off

"news travel really fast around" he answered noticing the puzzled look i had "the whole school is talking about how you saved Neville's life"

"oh" was the only thing i said

"anyway how did it feel , flying for the first time?" he asked seeming interested

"it was great ,i though it was going to be hard but it wasn't and the moment my feet left the ground i felt so free , like nothing else mattered anymore, well if we didn't consider the fact that Neville was flying frantically around ,almost falling from six metres above and would have probably broken his neck doing so " i laughed at my own words and i noticed him smile at that , but suddenly his face dropped ,but before i could ask

"Diggory" a voice that i know so well spoke or should i say two voices spoke

"Fred , George how may i help you two?" Cedric replied as i stepped beside him facing the two red headed boys

"well as tempting as that offer is" said George mockingly

" but we are not here for you " finished Fred with the same tone ,i rolled my eyes at them

"then why the bloody hell are you guys here?" i said in a annoyed tone ,well what can i say i was getting tired of the way they were treating Cedric , he was my friend after all and they were being complete jerks to him

"we're here to congratulate you on the nice job at the field today , really heroic" they said in a unison , i was a bit shocked at that and maybe slightly guilty for the way i spoke to them but again they had no right acting like that towards my friend

"thanks, now if that's all"

"not really we also heard about your little prank from earlier on a especial someone, really good work , classic but good , even if the target was an easy prey" Fred spoke again and i felt Cedric tense beside me

"like you wouldn't have fallen for it" i defended him

"of course not sweetheart" it was George who spoke

"really?"

"Love , we are the prank stars of this school , you're just amateur little one and that little prank of yours would have never fooled us " this was definitely Fred ,how dare he , first he made fun of Cedric and then he called me an amature prank er , well he brought it to himself

"wo ho ho, sweetheart , hold on a second ,first of all never make fun of my friends ever again and second never ever call me amature , you two might be the school prank stars , but the pranks queen just arrived and she can take you down any time, any day"

"if you think so, love" he spoke looking me straight in the eyes as a smirk played on his lips

"i don't think so , i know so" a smirk was now played on my own

"tomorrow until lunch the one with the most successful pranks wins" they spoke , holding out their hands

"Alex you might get in trouble" i heard Cedric whisper to me "don't worry i have it under control, Ced" and then gladly shook their hands "may the best pranker win"

"oh look here comes our new seeker" George said nudging Fred in the shoulder and signalling to someone behind him but to my luck i couldn't see who , why did they have to be so tall

"what's a seeker?" i asked as i turned to Cedric "it's a quiditich position?" he answered confusing me more

"bloody hell" Fred cursed followed by George they must have noticed my expression "blimey , you can't tell me , you don't know what quiditch is"

"flaws of being a muggle born" i mumbled to my self but looks like they heard me

"you're a muggle born" they yelled and had their mouths open in surprise ,i looked at the ground feeling embarrassed , i should have known this would happen , but then Cedric steeped in front of me "close your mouths you Idiots, its not really that big of the deal" he snapped at them

"we know in fact it's actually...bloody brilliant" they shouted as a smile formed on both there lips

"really" my head snapped up and turned to Cedric who looked as surprised as me "and about quiditch we would like to teach you more about it some time and even your Friend can come join but right now we need to get going" Fred spoke emphasizing friend and i rolled my eyes " sure"

with that they nodded and headed to a boy with black hair and a pair of glasses wait a second isn't that Harry my mouth almost dropped he was fine , a voice snapped me out of my thoughts so "told you he would be fine"

but instead of a reply i pulled him into a hug "i'm sorry for the prank i didn't mean for anyone to use it against you"

"its okay , thinking about it was pretty funny, but don't ever do something like that on me ever again you almost gave me a heart attack" he smiled as he wrapped his hands around me too

"and thanks for looking out for me" i said as we pulled apart , he had a smile on his face and so did i

"i always will" that caused my smile to grew wider

"well i will go talk to Harry and then i should start planning my pranks , i need to win this"

"just make sure you don't get yourself in much trouble" he advised

"do i ever" i replied innocently as i started walking away , i could hear him chuckle from behind me " oh and don't forget about the quiditch lesson you're giving me later" i called behind and didn't wait for any protest

i made my way towards Harry , who was walking with Ron and the Twins

"But they'll turn up in a month or two!!" i heard George yell as they left

" Oh, go on, Harry, Quidditch is great. Best game there is! And you'll be great, too! " Ron tried to reassure Harry who seemed on the edge

"of course you will Harry you're the best person i ever saw fly a broom" i said and both their heads snapped in my direction

"Alex..." Harry spoke but i cut him off

"i see you haven't been expelled" i joked causing him to laugh

"well not yet , professor McGonagall only took me to see Oliver Wood a fourth year he's also the gryffindor quiditich team captin , hey want me to be the new seeker"

"well that's great" i told him

"and that what i have been telling him for the past few hours" Ron exclaimed

" But I've never even played Quidditch. What if I make a fool of myself?" Harry spoke looking between us

"well you won't like i said you're the best person i ever saw fly a broom"

"thanks , but i'm not as good as you"

"yeah i was brilliant , but you still would be he best after me" i said cockily ,and they laughed and shook their heads at me

"beside You won't make a fool of yourself. It's in your blood." Hermione spoke from beside me making me jump a little , when the hell did she get here , i swear sometimes she could be really scary

we followed her through the school until we were standing in front of a trophy case. she pointed at a plaque of Quidditch players. One lists Harry's father as a Seeker.

" Whoa. Harry, you never told me your father was a Seeker, too" Ron gasped

"I-I didn't know" Harry whispered but the smile on his face told me that he was genuinely happy ,and i couldn't help but smile at that

after that we decided to head back to the common room so we were walking up a staircase. A railing pulled in... but i didn't even give it a second glance and continued walking.

"I'm telling you, it's spooky. She knows more about you than you do" Ron exclaimed

"Who doesn't?" Harry replied

"yeah , i was planning on asking you about that Harry, no offence but why does to know everything about you?" i questioned genuinely curious

Harry opened his mouth to reply but was cut off by Hermione "Alex you're so oblivious ,aren't you?"

i gave her a puzzled look but she rolled her eyes in return "this in front of you is Harry Potter the one who defeated you know who when he was about a year old"

"what do you mean by you know who ?" i was even more puzzled now

" Hagrid told me that A few years ago there was one wizard who went as bad as you can go, his name was Voldemort" Harry explained and Ron gasped

" most wizards were afraid of him so they didn't speak his name , Harry's parents stood against him so he ended up killing them in that same night he tried to kill Harry too but couldn't and ever since then he disappeared" Hermione continued and i felt a bang of guilt hit me why id i have to ask , good job Alex

"Harry , i'm really sorry for your lost , but you know what your parents were really great and i'm sure as hell that they are proud of you " i tried to make him feel better and he gave a weak smile which i turned but we were cut off when The staircase shuddered and began to move , we all grabbed the railings

" Ahh!" Ron screamed while Hermione gasped

"What's happening?"

"The staircases change, remember? " Hermione answered and The staircase stopped, in a new place

"guys Let's go this way" i said and tapped both Harry and Ron

"Before the staircase moves again" Ron said and Harry opened a door and we all walked inside , it was a dark room

" Does anyone feel like...we shouldn't be here?" Harry asked

"We're not supposed to be here. This is the 3rd floor. It's forbidden." Hermione whispered

"really" i exclaimed "this is bloody brilliant"

but Hermione just gave me a 'shut up' look , so i just rolled my eyes

Suddenly, a flame lighted on a tall stone support. At that moment, MRS. NORRIS, came running in and meowed. we all jumped in surprise and fear whenever Mrs. Norris go, filch follows not long after

"Let's go"harry said but then he turned around and noticed the cat too

"It's Filch's cat!" Ron said stating the obvious

"run" i told them and pulled harry by the hand as i ran

Flames are lit as we run past them. when we get to the end of the corridor we find a door, Harry grabbed the handle, but it's locked

"It's locked!"

"That's it, we're done for!" Ron cried

"Oh, move over!" she yelled as she pushed through and pulled out her wand "Alohomora" she casted and the door opened

"Get in"she ordered and we didn't need to hear it twice we quickly did and closed the door behind us

"nice job , Hermione" i said

"thanks"

" Alohomora?" Ron asked

"Standard book of spells, Chapter 7" she answers

"Filch is gone" she stated

but i was to busy looking around when i noticed something i never ever thought existed , i could hear Ron and Hermione from behind me

"guys" i tried but they didn't listen

"Probably thinks this door's locked."

"it was locked" Hermione answered

"guys" i called again but with no use

"And for good reason" harry said that when i noticed that Harry was standing beside me with the same state

Ron and Hermione turned to stand with me and Harry and finally saw The massively huge three headed dog sleeping in front of us. then it began to wake and growled when noticed us

"Ahhhhhhh" we all screamed and bolted running out of the door. we turned quickly to shut the door and battled against the dog. when we finally got the door shut we ran back to the Gryffindor common room

"What do they think they're doing?? Keeping a thing like that locked up in a school" Ron yelled as we entered the common room

"you don't use your eyes, do you? Didn't you see what it was standing on?" Hermione answered

" I wasn't looking at its feet! I was a bit preoccupied with its heads. Or maybe you didn't notice, there were three!" Ron said as we started to climb the stairs to the dorms

" It was standing on a trap door. Which means it wasn't there by accident. It's guarding something" Hermione explained

" Guarding something?" Harry asked

"the right question is what is it guarding?" i corrected

"That's right. Now, if you three don't mind, I'm going to bed before any of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed...or worse, expelled!" with that she turned around and entered the dorm , shutting the door behind her

"She needs to sort out her priorities!" Ron stated

" you have no idea , try leaving with her " they both laughed

"anyway i should get going too , i have somethings i need to take care of , night you two"

"good night" with that i followed in after Hermione , but was greeted by Marvel waiting for me

"come on buddy we got some planning to do"
