The Omnipotent Mrs. Ranford By Darlene Wright

Chapter 83

Chapter 83

Chapter 83

As the boss, he had already done a good job.

Alexandra felt that she should be grateful and content. This way, she would not have to think too deeply about why she was sad and upset previously.

She thought, “So what if I don’t have his contact? It’s normal for employees to not have their boss’s phone number”

Alexandra regained her respect for Julian after she comforted herself like this.  S~ᴇaʀᴄh the Find ɴøᴠel.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Julian said nonchalantly, “It’s fine.”

“Mr. Ranford, don’t worry. I will repay your kindness someday. When you’re injured in the future and can’t walk anymore, I’ll push you too!”

Julian was speechless.

“Thank you,” he thought.

Alexandra looked at the clean wooden bench beside her and pointed. “Mr. Ranford, sit down and rest for a while. You must be tired from working all

day!”

Julian did not say much and sat down.

Alexandra was smiling. Her smile was beautiful.

“What are you laughing at?” Julian asked.

Alexandra said, “It’s nothing. I’m just thinking, Mr. Ranford, were you very lonely in the past? Did you come back to this house when you were tired and internalize all your emotions alone?”

There was a ripple in Julian’s heart. He squinted slightly and looked at Alexandra in front of him. She was sitting in a wheelchair and smiling like a

flower.

She was like a fairy who was untainted by the worries of the world.

Julian smiled slightly and did not speak.

Alexandra was a chatterbox. She continued, “But you don’t have to worry. I’ll accompany you now. Before our partnership ends, I’ll accompany you!”

Julian said, “I asked you to take paid leave, but you’re still trying to suck up to me.

Julian was right. Alexandra felt that she could not do anything now and had to be taken care of by him, so she could only talk.

She chuckled. “I can’t let you spend money for nothing! Even if I can’t do anything else with you, I can still chat with you! Mr. Ranford, I’m very curious. Is there anyone for you to chat with in Grandma’s orphanage?”

Julian was speechless.

“Can’t she forget that joke?” he thought.

He said, “Go back and ask Grandma when your foot gets better.”

“Oh, I wouldn’t dare.”

“Then you dare to ask me?”

“Because you’re a nice person, Mr. Ranford.”

“So you mean Grandma’s not a nice person?”

“If Grandma isn’t a nice person, how could she nurture someone as nice as you, Mr. Ranford?”

Alexandra’s words left Julian at a loss for words.

He could not win against her!

A gust of wind blew, carrying with it the fragrance of flowers. Alexandra sneezed.

Julian picked up the jacket on the back of the wheelchair and draped it over Alexandra’s shoulders.

She was only wearing a thin dress.

Suddenly, a female voice disrupted the warm atmosphere between them. “Angel!”

Her voice startled Alexandra.

She turned around and was also stunned.

It was Lisa Abbotwell, whom she had met once at the hotel.

Lisa walked over in her black high heels, her expression full of surprise. “I thought it looked like you! I thought I got the wrong person! Are you injured? Why are you in a wheelchair?”

Chapter 83

“Sis, what a coincidence. I’m fine. I just sprained my ankle.” Alexandra was indescribably happy to bump into Lisa here.

Lisa looked even more beautiful and valiant than the last time they met at the hotel.

She was wearing a light blue suit, had short hair, and had beautiful makeup on. She was full of vitality.

“You sprained your ankle… Just as she was about to continue, she suddenly noticed the man sitting on the bench putting on the jacket for Alexandra

Julian was putting the coat over Alexandra. The voice sounded familiar, and he turned his head silently.

“As expected. Lisa,” he thought.

Then, their eyes met and Lisa’s eyes suddenly widened.

Alexandra realized that the atmosphere was a little off.

“Alexandra, this is?” Lisa’s arrogant gaze narrowed. Her gaze suddenly became a little angry, and she seemed to be squeezing her voice out through her teeth.

She thought, “Wow.

Turns out that the rich kid who seduced an innocent girl like Alexandra is my good cousin!

Damn it!

Alexandra did not want Lisa to know that he was her “husband” in name. She quickly explained, “Lisa, let me introduce you. This is my cousin!”

Julian was utterly confused.

Meanwhile, Lisa was shocked.

“Fucking cousin?” she thought.

“Cousin?” Lisa crossed her arms and glanced sideways at the ashen–faced Julian.

Alexandra quickly nodded. “Yes, yes! Cousin! I came to his house to play for a few days!”

“His house?” Lisa caught another piece of sensitive information.

“Julian!” she thought.

Alexandra had no idea what Lisa was thinking. She added, “Yes, this gentleman is my cousin. I’m his… second uncle’s youngest daughter!”

Julian felt a flock of crows flying over his head.

Lisa, who suddenly had a younger sister, was confused.

It was confirmed.

Alexandra was trying to cover up their illicit relationship.

Lisa was furious and said sarcastically, “Oh! Is that so? Why didn’t I know that my parents had another daughter?”

Alexandra was surprised. “Huh???”

Julian sighed and stood up. “Cousin.”

Alexandra died a little when she heard Julian call Lisa that.

She thought, “Cousin?

“Julian called Lisa his cousin?”

“Uh” Alexandra did not know how to salvage the situation.

Lisa glanced at her happily and said gently, “Alexandra, play by yourself here for a while!”

Then, she changed her tone and shouted at Julian, “Julian! You! Come here!”

Alexandra was speechless.

It seemed that she was really his cousin.

Otherwise, she would not have dared to shout at Julian like this..

Julian was obedient and followed the angry Lisa to the side.

Alexandra could not see where they were when they reached the corner of the garden.

Lisa picked up her small square bag and threw it at Julian. “You, Julian Ranford! You don’t learn the good things! You’ve even started to hide your mistress! Of all the people you could have hidden. How dare you play with Alexandra! I’ll beat you to death-”

Julian grabbed her small bag and snatched it away.

He said, “Lisa! Can you listen to me!”

Chapter 83

Lisa was furious. “What should I listen to? If you dare to bully Alexandra, I’ll kill you-”

“We’re married.”

“What?” Lisa came to an abrupt stop. She blinked her large eyes, which were covered in bright eye shadow.

Julian threw the bag at her and tidied his sleeves. “I said, I’m married to Alexandra.”

Twenty minutes later, in the living room of the villa.

Julian and Alexandra sat on the sofa obediently.

Lisa rested her chin on one hand and stood in front of them. She thought about the situation, then asked, “So, you two are really married.”

Alexandra nodded.

Julian glanced at her and ignored her.

Lisa asked again, “The two of you are faking your marriage. Julian is doing it to fool Grandma, while you want to look for Ace Fulton?”

Alexandra nodded again.

Then, Alexandra added, “Mr. Ranford pays me.”

Lisa expressed that she did not understand what young girls these days were thinking. She got married so easily.

She jumped over and sat beside Alexandra. She asked her with concern, “Does Julian bully you? Does he take advantage of you? Does he hit or scold you?”
