The Omnipotent Mrs. Ranford By Darlene Wright

Chapter 23

Chapter 23

Alexandra had seen Martha’s actions clearly and had jumped over. Unfortunately, she could not get there in time to pull Emery back.

instantly ignited the fire inside Alexandra.

4 was bullying an innocent girl in broad daylight.

Alexandra shoved Martha to the side. “Do you not have eyes?” Alexandra demanded in fury.

After yelling at Martha, Alexandra squatted down to help Emery stand up.

Emery let out a shocked yelp as soon as Alexandra helped Emery up.

Before Emery could warn her, Alexandra felt a sudden stab of pain from her scalp.

Martha had grabbed Alexandra’s bun..

Martha had not expected that a country bumpkin like Alexandra would dare get physical with her. Anger flooded out for various reasons, so Martha grabbed the bun on Alexandra’s head. “You bitch! Who are you yelling at?”

“I’m yelling at you! If you don’t have eyes, then you shouldn’t go crashing into people! Ah!”

Alexandra reached up to grab Martha’s hand. It felt like Alexandra’s scalp was going to get ripped off.

But it was like Martha had gone crazy. She kept pulling Alexandra’s bun, refusing to let go.

Alexandra had no choice but to turn her neck so her scalp could be in less pain.

Alexandra grabbed her bun with one hand while her other scrabbled wildly, scratching Martha’s neck.

Martha loosened her grip in pain, and Alexandra escaped to the side.

Alexandra was finally free. Without time to think, she grabbed the unfinished coffee on the table and poured it onto Martha’s body.

She did not aim at Martha’s face.

The coffee was not hot anymore, but when the coffee splashed onto Martha, who was only wearing a strapped dress, it was still a spectacular feeling.

The students watching from the side all let out surprised cries.

Some of the students even pulled out their phones to take pictures.

Of course, the star of the pictures was none other than Alexandra, with her messy hair and angry pink face.

A tall boy took off his jacket and handed it to Martha, who was drenched in coffee. Some of the girls even started standing up for Martha. They accused Alexandra of being unfair.

This had become a big commotion. There was no way that the school officials would not find out.

The end result was that Alexandra, Martha, and the other girls were all called to the academic affairs office.

Alexandra had done this to protect Emery, so she did not let Emery come with them. Alexandra did not want to worry or cause trouble for Emery.

Martha was the daughter of Highclere City’s Connolly family. Naturally, Erik Johnson, the Dean of Academic Affairs, knew who she was

As for the disheveled Alexandra who had hit Martha, Erik had no clue who she was.

That was why Erik knew who to side with as soon as these girls appeared before him.

After all, he interacted with all of the wealthy families in the elite circle. He knew Martha’s family as well.

It might have been the most powerful family in Highclere City, but it was at least in the top 10.  sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ FɪndNøvel.ɴᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

While the girls were gathered in the academic affairs office, people on the internet started discussing the fight too.

The pictures and videos started trending in the school as soon as they were posted and instantly went viral.

Marco always had an eye on the internet, so it was no surprise that he saw this. He rushed into Mr. Ranford’s office when his phone rang. Glancing down, he realized that it was the number of the academic affairs office.

Marco’s number had been submitted for Alexandra’s contact person. Now Marco felt like the hot potato had been thrown into his arms as he walked into the CEO’s office in a panic. “Mr. Ranford… Mrs. Caroline… She got into a fight at school.”

Julian was reading a document. His temple pulsed, and he pushed his tongue against his back molars.

Julian tossed down the document, pulled out his phone, and called Mr. McFadden.

There was a lot going on in the academic affairs office at the same time.

Alexandra watched coldly as Martha put up a teary act. Inside, Alexandra was a bit scared.

She would be lying if she said she wasn’t scared.

“Don’t let Julian find out,” she thought.

“Don’t let Julian find out.

“Don’t

Julian find out.”

She chanted this in her mind three times.

Erik soothed Martha patiently and finally had the time to yell at Alexandra, jabbing a finger at her. “Alexandra! Don’t you know that Friendship and Assistance is our school motto? But you actually got into a physical fight. You’ll go down in history at the University of Highclere. Where are your parents? Call your parents right now.”

Alexandra glanced coldly at Martha, who was still acting like a drama queen. Alexandra puffed up her chest and lifted her chin. “I don’t have parents. I’m in charge of my own business. She hit me first. Is being a submissive coward also the school. motto at the University of Highclere?”

“You!”

Erik was so furious that his finger trembled. He was still in thought when his phone rang. Looking down, he saw that it was Martha’s dad calling.

Erik had no time to scold Alexandra anymore. He picked up and spoke politely. “Hello? Mr. Connolly? My deepest apologies. Please do not worry. I will be sure to give you a satisfactory answer. Yes, Martha is in the academic affairs office. You can send someone over to pick her up.”

Erik’s expression darkened even more after he hung up the phone. He started yelling at Alexandra again. “You don’t have parents? Then what department are you from? Find your department head! I’d like to see if your department head still wants you as a student!”

This time, Alexandra could not answer. She was not an official student at the University of Highclere yet.

She already had slim chances of being accepted. Now that she also had this fight on her record…

The chances were even slimmer.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. It was Emery, who’d arrived with her cane.

As soon as she entered the room and saw the situation, she knew that Alexandra was at a disadvantage.

Emery felt guilty inside. She had to do something. After all, Alexandra had gotten into the fight for Emery.

When Erik saw Emery, Erik’s attitude improved a bit. He knew what status the Walters family had in Highclere City.

“Ms. Walters, how can I help you?” he asked, going over–the–top with the politeness.

Emery walked to Alexandra’s side and said to Erik, “Martha purposely tripped me. That’s why Alexandra pushed Martha and got into a fight. Alexandra also poured the coffee because Martha pulled Alexandra’s hair. Alexandra didn’t do it on purpose.”

“Mr. Johnson, that’s not true,” Martha declared. “I accidentally knocked down Emery’s cane. I was about to help her up, but Alexandra scratched me. Look, I’m bleeding.”

“Yeah, yeah. It was Alexandra who started it.” The girls next to Martha all nodded. They were on Martha’s side.

Emery had not expected that these people would completely twist the facts. She was so angry that she was close to tears.

“You’re all liars!”

Alexandra was stunned.

What was wrong with the University of Highclere?

Seeing how these divas were all on one side, Erik became firmer in his decision too. “Alexandra, according to school policies. you are now expelled.”

Question marks filled Alexandra’s mind.

She had not even enrolled at the school, but now she was expelled?

“Julian, I’m so sorry!” she thought.

Someone’s phone went off.

It was Erik’s phone.

This time, it was a call from Mr. McFadden.
