“What for?” Julian did not stop what he was doing and asked her.
Alexandra’s voice became even softer. “I hit someone. I’m sorry”
“Not bad. You’ve improved. You even know that you’ve made a mistake.” Julian put the things in the drawer and turned around to look at Alexandra.
Alexandra looked up and blinked twice. “Nothing I can do about it but learn and repent. Besides, I’m doing this for grandma. You can’t deduct my salary.”
Julian took a deep breath gloomily.
He figured that she really loved money to an incomprehensible extent.
Julian didn’t answer her. His deep eyes stared at her, making Alexandra’s hair stand on end.
