“Are you feeling sick again, Gabbie?” Emery asked as she prepared for her night out in my room..
“I’m fine I’m just tired.”
She turned around holding a red lipstick tube. “You don’t look good. Think we should see a specialist

I giggled. “We don’t need to see a witch. I just need to sleep.”

The full moon poked its head out of the grey night clouds. The jabs in my gut turned into punches on all sides like something was struggling to get out. I grabbed my coat and staggered out the front door.
I fisted the emerald necklace Kade gave me. This better lead to what I hope it does.
When I got the woods the moon has fully come into the sky. I dropped to my knees but I worried I wasn’t deep into the woods enough. I could easily be seen through the thin trees by a human.
I cried out as my arm snapped.
“I should have asked Emery to come,” I panted.
I dropped my bag and dropped my coat. I felt like I was being torn in two and Gabriella was fading away. I wished the pain would fade too but it got worse. I dropped to the ground and everything went back for a solid second.
