at Kade.
“Sounds like a plan.” Kade came up behind me and stopped.

“We’re not,” Kade said coolly. “You made this personal the day you touched my mate.
“She was mine before you ever laid eyes on her.” Alex walked but Leiah stood her ground and he bumped into her.
“That’s not true. We were never meant to be,” I said hoping it would get through Alex’s head.
Kade tucked me under his arm. We shared a look and I knew he wanted me as much as I wanted him.
“We’ll settle this on the field. The best Alpha wins,” Kade said before dragging me away from the group.
