Chapter 79 : FINALE
Traizle
"Dad, do I look okay in this dress? I do not think I suit this kind of dress. It is so uncomfortable." I told my Dad, almost complaining about the dress I was wearing.
I am wearing a casual dress, but I am itching to change to a comfortable one.
But I can not do that.
"We need to wear a formal one when you are meeting your boyfriend's family," Dad explained. "This is the first time we will meet each other's families. Just wait for a few hours before you can change." We will be seeing Matthew's grandparents tonight. Matthew just told us about it yesterday, that his grandparents would come here tonight for a small gathering. We will introduce our family properly. "They bought that for you, that is why you can not say no to it, right?" Dad asked again.
I nodded.
This is one of the gifts I received from his grandparents before. Although they are pretty, it looks like they are not for me to wear. Looking at the price tag before wearing it feels like I might be a hostage if I went out with this dress I am wearing.
"You are pretty, okay? I do not think they will say you are ugly. My children are all handsome and pretty. How could they not love you?" Dad said.
I smiled. "I am blessed to have a dad who knows how to flatter his children." I replied.
"We should head out now. Your brothers are waiting downstairs." Dad invited me.
We went out of my room and went down to the sala.
"You are pretty, Traizle!" Layzen complimented.
"You are so cute in your attire as well." I complimented back.
"I want to hear that I am handsome, not cute. It is for babies, I am manly tonight." Layzen complained.
Lyndon and Archane laughed beside him, teasing him more. These two are only on good terms if they are teasing Layzen together.
I pinched Layzen's cheeks. "You are actually handsome. I did not know that you could be manly in this suit. You are more handsome than the two behind you who are laughing." I answered and teased the two back. "That is what favoritism is called." Archane stated.
"It feels good to have someone when it comes to Traizle's favoritism," Lyndon said, laughing. "Before, I had to bare her favoritism over Layzen."
"Really? How mean is that?" Archane asked Lyndon.
"You guys are always teasing him, that is why I will save him again and again. How can you act like a child in front of Layzen?" I told them. "Still unfair!" They both complained.
I turned to Dad. "They want you to baby them." I told Dad.
Dad smiled widely as he approached the two.
"Our grown up men still like to be babied by their Dad." Dad said as he carried Lyndon around like a baby.
"I did not mean this, Dad." Lyndon commented.
"Do you want milk too?" Dad asked him again.
"No! I am over with bottle milk!" Lyndon replied.
Archane was about to flee the scene when Layzen stopped him.
"Daddy, Archane is escaping." Layzen said.

We spent half an hour playing, until we heard a bell.
We stopped playing after that and quickly fixed ourselves.
I headed to the door and opened it.
"Traizle! It is nice to see you again!" Matthew's grandmother said as she embraced me.
"It is nice to see you again-"
"Nana and Pops, call us that too." Nana interrupted.
"Please come in, and welcome to our home." I said.
Matthew came after Nana and Pops, wearing a black formal suit.
"You are stunning, wife. I miss you." he whispered.
"You too. You are stunning in your suit." I whispered back.
We headed to the sala. Matthew's grandparents and my Dad are talking happily already.
"It is my pleasure to meet you." Dad said.
"I heard from our son that you are good at business since then. We did not know that you were the real father of Traizle. We are happy for your family." Pops answered. "Thank you for accepting us." Dad replied back.
"There is no reason to say no to Traizle. She has everything that we want for Matthew. We just hope Matthew won't let her slip, or else he will live alone again." Nana said, looking directly at Matthew. "Nana, you are saying that I might cheat on Traizle. I won't do that, I won't dare!" Matthew defended himself.
"Don't worry, Nana. We will beat the hell out of him if he makes Traizle cry." Lyndon answered.
"We won't let him cheat on our sister." Archane added.
"We will make sure of that." Layzen joined.
"Oh my goodness! I have been wanting to see the three of you." Nana exclaimed with glee.
We started our dinner talking about stuff. The small dinner we prepared feels like a very special menu.
"Wife, it seems like we will be getting married next year!" Matthew said as we watched the stars on the balcony.
I look at him. "How can you say so?" I asked.
"Our family is in good condition. It is like we are already a big family. Did you know, Pops and Nana decided to finally stay here!" He excitedly shared the news.
"Really?" I asked. "That is good news then. They should really stay here so that we won't worry about them too much if they are away."
"I am happy that all of my loved ones are here. There is no space for sadness in my heart tonight! I hope we will stay like this," he said as he hugged me from behind. "I found my happiness already that I want to settle right now."
"I found mine as well. I won't be able to find them without you," I told him. "I also hope that we won't change and we stay like this for a long time. Be in love with each other and have our own family."
"Should we make our own family first before marriage? I am fine with that!"
I think I can tolerate him for the rest of my life. I am also ready to babysit him along with my younger brothers. I can beat them to a pulp.
