Chapter 57
Traizle
After sending off Layzen and Lyndon to their schools, Zarsuelo and I went straight to his Uncle's house.
He received a call from his uncle, saying they had finished reviewing the CCTV videos they had gotten.
"Here you guys are," A man, I think he is in his forties, "Come inside. Welcome to our humble abode, Miss." He added, smiling, and did not even forget to wink at me. Zarsuelo was on my side, blocking my way.
"Don't wink at her, Uncle Vin!" I heard Zarsuelo saying to his uncle.
I pushed Zarsuelo gently to my side again. "I am sorry about that, Mr. Vin." I apologized.
He waves his hands. "No worries, Matthew must be protective of his girlfriend, huh," he replied, directing us to enter. "Call me Uncle Vin too." he added.
"Is it comfortable with you?" I asked back.
He smiled again at me. Like Zarsuelo's smile every time I ask him. He will surely smile like that before answering me or not. Maybe it is in their genes.
"Of course! The whole clan was excited about meeting you. His Nana and Pops talked about you and your relationship. It spread all over our family." he explained.
His house isn't as big as Zarsuelo's, but it is also good and elegant. He led us to a room with two guys in front of their computers.
"I want you to meet my two excellent lawyers." Uncle Vin introduces the two guys.
"I am Carlo Abanzano, pleased to meet you." He introduced himself and bowed.
I think I have heard his name before.
"I am Christian Lopez. Pleased to meet you too." He also introduced himself and bowed.
"You guys are the famous lawyers on the news before." I commented.
I was amazed when I heard they were offering help to people like us. As long as they are telling the truth, they will make sure to help them.
"Wow, you knew them but won't be able to recognize me?" Zarsuelo complained again.
"I just saw and heard it accidentally when I was not busy with my work. Is it my fault?" I asked him.
"Still, it is unfair to me. I have known you for years, since high school, and you just knew me this year." he complained again.
"We don't have to go back to our past. The past is past. And even though I only knew you this year, that doesn't mean I don't really know you at all. Those months we've been together have already revealed the true you to me. So, shut up. We didn't come here for you to complain about me because I knew them." I told him.
We heard them chuckling.
"I hope you won't mind it, can we talk about the problem now? We still have to go back to his company." I told them, and bowed a little.
Uncle Vin went to the computer and did something. "I had fun watching you guys argue." he said.
"You both look like teenagers fighting over something." Christian added.
"It must be hard pleasing Matthew, Traizle, doesn't he?" Uncle Vin asked again while he was doing something on the computer.
I am not very tetchy, but I don't really think that technology suits me.
"Am I hard to please, Uncle?" Zarsuelo asked. He turned to the two and pointed at himself. "Am I, really?" He asked again.

"He is, but I don't mind," I answered Uncle Vin. "As long as he doesn't annoy me and do something stupid on every important issue." I added.
Zarsuelo looked at me, smiling widely. Did I say something good again?
I just told them what I really felt.
"I hope you guys last long," Uncle Vin said. "Traizle is the best with those wife candidates of yours." he added.
Damn those wife candidates. I just heard them again, but it is enough to make me irritated.
"Anyway, the issue we are investigating right now is not a false alarm," Uncle Vin started. "We saw one person following you, maybe a man in his fifties. This one," he added, pointing his forefinger to a car. "We also think that they are also following you. Do you know them?" Uncle Vin asked.
I shake my head slightly. "I don't even know them, I don't know what they want from me. They can't get money out of me." I answered.
So, we really are in danger?
"There are two options as to why they are following you," Carlo said. "First, they know about your relationship. And the second one, they have something they want to get from you." he added.
"I don't think my friends would tell someone they don't trust about our relationship," Zarsuelo commented while he was touching his chin, as if he was thinking really hard. "And plus, I don't mind it either." he added. What should I do with this oddball?
"Live in my house, Traizle. It is safer than living alone in your house," Zarsuelo suggested. "If you don't like the first one, let me stay at your house for a while." he added.
What do they want from me or us?
"Do you get involved in a fight with someone?" Uncle Vin asked, I shake my head as my answer. "The possible theory that we can entertain is that they know about your relationship." he added.
"I advise you and your family to stay at Mr. Zarsuelo's for your safety." Christian said.
"Or I will hire some guards to guard you 24/7." Zarsuelo suggested once more with his high-paying ideas.
We will just talk about it later, on the way. I have to think about it carefully first, before doing any plans.
I need to make sure Layzen and Lyndon are safe. I also texted Zac about the news I had heard from them. Zac didn't even complain and just accepted it without any problem.
Zarsuelo and Uncle Vin, with his two lawyers, talked for 20 minutes.
"Traizle, call me at this number if they try to harm you." Uncle Vin said and handed me a small card containing his work.
We go straight to the Grand Finance. Zarsuelo and I separated to go our separate ways. I was headed to our office when I heard someone call my name.
The moment I turned myself around to see who had called me, it left me speechless.
"M-m-mom?" I asked, stuttering.
She wears a sexy dress with her make-up.
What is she doing here?
"Nice to see you." she said and smiled wickedly at me.
Why is she here?
Is she here to get Layzen and Lyndon from me?
