The Ocean’s City

Chapter 14

Dalton closed the door behind me and let out a sigh of relief.

“Thank you,” he spoke as he turned to grab his pillow and blanket from the floor.

I flopped on the bed and stared at him, still seeing and feeling all those good emotions his family brought out of him. Like he was actually a good guy.

I ungracefully got to my knees and crawled to him. My arms wrapped around his neck nervously, and I laughed.

“Your family makes you seem like you’re not a monster.”

“That’s what you see me as? A monster?”

“I mean, yeah, make the walls stretch as I try to run away. Then dragged me to the bathroom to push me against the wall and scream bloody murder at me kind of monster.” I spoke without venom in my voice. “Scold me every time I want a simple explanation.”

He closed his eyes like he was trying to compress his anger. “One day you will understand. One day, you will not see me as a monster.”

“But you won’t explain that to me today?” I said, placing my head on his chest and enjoying the odd sense of safety.

“I can’t,” he said. I could tell his eyes were still closed. His hand slowly went to play in my hair. It was gentle like it scared him I’d run away.

I lifted my head and studied his face. “I like who you are with your family.”

“I… If you could trust me, I could be more of that for you.” He said, finally opening his eyes and staring into mine.

I didn’t break eye contact. “You promise me it’s a good reason you have treated me how you have?”

“I. Promise. I’d set you free if, after you know everything, you still can’t forgive my actions.”

I nodded. “When will that be?”

“Not now.” That was all he explained. His hand trailed along the side of my neck. It has always been my massive weakness, and I leaned into him.

“I cannot wait for the day you let me do this to you, and you aren’t drunk.”

His lips met mine. Warm, minty, and masculine, I was utterly overwhelmed.

Soon, I found us both on the bed, kissing and grinding. I went to pull off my dress, but Dalton caught my hands and buried his face in the nape of my neck. “Stop.” He scolded.

“I want you,” I whined. It shocked me. I said it but squealed at the Dalton inside of me. He let out a manly growl, and his hand tightened around mine.

“I won’t be able to stop myself if we continue.”

“Then don’t stop,” I said through a whimper as I pushed my hips to his, and he forcefully pushed back.

Then he let out a painful breath of air as he gave into temptation and pulled my hair to angle my lips to his attack.

He grinned into me as his other hand found its way up my dress and to my breasts. I took my hands, grazed them along his back, and then pulled my leggings down. He helped me out of them.

He stared at me as he pulled my dress over my head. I looked at myself in the moonlight’s glow casting through the window.

“My beauty,” he whispered before his head dipped down between my legs. His mouth met my other lips, and I whimpered in need.

I wanted him to stay there the whole night. His tongue danced around me, but I could sense he was full of need, and he hurried his way to pull his pants down and plant himself inside of me. I groaned, and he understood what I needed.

He pumped a few times inside of me before he flipped me over, yanked the rest of his clothes off, and had his way with me.

It felt unimaginably good. A lot better than the sad sex life I had with my ex. I was deprived, and he was filling the need 100 percent. I couldn’t hold back any of my groans, and he didn’t hold back from thrusting into me.

When I felt at my height, he pulled out of me and released himself on my ass, leaving shivers to roll over me. Satisfied, I curled up in a ball to sleep like a drunk baby, but I felt him lay over my back and insert himself again.

“What…”

“shhhh.”

“Ooh!” I let out, and he started again. This time, as I lay on my stomach, his hand wrapped around to rub my clit. I came undone.

“That’s right, baby girl,” he groaned in my ear as he dove his tongue into my mouth.”
