By the time they arrived at the academy, it was already 10:30 a.m., and the gates were closed. Finding themselves locked out, Samantha approached the security guard, "Excuse me, sir, something came up at home, and we were delayed. Could you possibly open the gate and let us in?"

"It's almost noon now," the security guard replied. "If you had something urgent at home, you could have taken the day off. The rule at Saint Night Academy is that no one is allowed in once classes have started."

This rule... Samantha grumbled and asked, "Is there really no room

negotiation?" "None."

"Alright, I understand."

Carrying her bag, Samantha walked to the side, with Emily quickly following behind. "What do we do now, Sam? I didn't take leave today and don't know if the homeroom teacher will mark me as tardy or absent." "She will."

Emily panicked at once. "What should we do then? Being late or absent means losing credits."

Samantha walked around the perimeter of Saint Night Academy, found a secluded spot, leaped up, and climbed over. Emily was startled by Samantha's actions. "Sam, what are you doing?"

"If you don't want to lose credits, climb up."

Climb? Emily hesitated. "Sam, I'm scared." Scared?

"Call and take a leave, then. I'm leaving," Samantha said and jumped down, disappearing from Emily's view before she even had a chance to speak. "Sam!"

Unlock succeeded to me! She left me once yesterday and abandoned me again today. If I really lose credits, it would definitely be her fault! Ugh, d*mn it!

When Samantha arrived at her classroom, the last period before lunch had just ended. The homeroom teacher looked at Samantha and asked, "Why are you so late?" "Something came up at home."

The homeroom teacher wanted to say more, but, recalling Samantha's grades, she ultimately said nothing and turned to leave. Just like that, Samantha successfully avoided trouble. It seemed that students with good grades really had privileges everywhere. Samantha set down her bag and went to the cafeteria to eat.

Because of Garrison's presence, the students were extremely excited and shouted loudly. Garrison was the heartthrob and campus prince of Saint Night Academy, and everyone wanted to get close to him. Unfortunately, though, he was too aloof to pay anyone any attention.

It wasn't until Samantha walked in that Garrison stopped and watched her approach in his direction. He cleared his throat, but before he could say anything, Samantha had already walked past him and went to the second floor. Robert, standing next to Garrison, chuckled. "You might be too invisible for your crush to notice you."

The mention of "crush" made Garrison blush. "What nonsense are you talking about? I don't like Samantha."

You don't, do you? Tell me that only when you can stop gawking at her, you reticent b*stard.

Robert left Garrison's side first and went upstairs, sitting next to Samantha. Seeing her order a large amount of food, Robert said, "That's quite a lot you've ordered there. Surely, you won't be able to finish it all. How about I join you?"

Samantha replied to him with an impassive gander, then returned to her food. Regardless, Robert picked up the set of cutleries in front of him and joined her. When Garrison saw it, he hurried over to Samantha's side to eat with her, followed by Olivia.
