The Mystical White Wolf

Chapter NINETEEN-ENEMY OF MY ENEMY

Three Weeks Later:

Unknown POV

"You smell exquisite, my little pet," I told my latest victim as she was sprawled out on my bed.

I could smell the blood flowing through her veins while hearing the beat of her heart. I just got done fucking her, and now I was ready to feast on her creamy skin.

"Hmm," I thought.

"Maybe I should turn you into my bride," I said.

Her eyes widened as my fangs extended, and I sunk my teeth into her neck, drinking her sweet-tasting blood as she let out a blood-curdling scream.

"I love it when they scream," I thought as I nearly drained her dry.

When I pulled my teeth back, the light was almost gone from her eyes.

"Not yet, my little bride. You are too precious to waste," I said, smirking.

I held my wrist over her mouth and slit it as the blood dripped onto them. I watched as she licked her bloody lips, brought my wrist to her hungry mouth, and drank my blood.

"That's it, my little pet, have your fill," I said and groaned.

She released my wrist and fell to unconsciousness as the transformation began.

"Sleep," I said as I got up from the bed, walked over to my leather couch, sat down, and drank blood from my glass.

I was almost enjoying the silence when there was a knock at my door.

"WHAT IS IT?!" I yelled out. From the smell, I knew it was Dolus.

"Master, you have a phone call. The caller says it's urgent," Dolus shouted through the door.

"Who the fuck could be calling me?" I thought.

I grabbed my red robe and swung open the door.

"This had better be important, or I'll have your head, Dolus," Dolus stood there unphased as I looked at him with my blood-red eyes.

I pushed past him and headed for my office, with Dolus following closely behind me. I sat at my desk and picked up the burner phone. Only a few people had this direct line.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT!" I yelled at the caller. I heard a laugh.

"Is that any way to treat a partner, Abaddon?" I growled into the phone.

"You are not allowed to use my name, pup. Get to the point of your reason for disturbing me!" the voice chuckled again.

"I found her," I heard him say as my eyes widened.

"YOU WHAT?" I yelled as he let out a hearty laugh.

"I've found your white wolf, Abaddon," he said, making me hiss as my red eyes glowed.

"Do you have her?! Where the fuck is she?!" I yelled into the phone.

"That's the difficult part," he said as I growled again.

"Get to the fucking point, pup!" I heard his deep sigh.

"She's the Luna of the Blue Eclipse pack and the mate to that fucking Alpha Antonio Silva!" I gripped my desk hard as it began to splinter.

"She is mine! How did you come by this information?" I asked.

"Let's just say a little wolf told me. So, I sent in rogues to do the dirty work."

"But those useless mutts came back empty-handed," he said.

"You don't make those decisions without consulting me, pup..." I started saying when he snarled and cut me off.

"That's Alpha Conrad to you, Abaddon!" he growled.

"If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have known where she was," he laughs.

"Besides, my vendetta against those fucking Silva Alphas."

"The Blue Eclipse pack should have been mine when Alicia was promised to me by her Father!" he growls into the phone.

"Your revenge isn't my problem."

"I want my white wolf bride alongside me to rule this world," I cackled into the phone.

"But what do you say? We can do this together and kill two birds with one stone," I smirked.

"I get my white wolf, and you get the Blue Eclipse pack."

"I may give you a bone and get Luna Alicia back for you to seal the deal," I said.

There was a long pause. I thought the imbecile might have dropped the call.

"Deal, but Abaddon, if you screw me, I'll kill you myself!" Conrad said as I cackled again into the phone.

"As if a weak Alpha such as yourself can kill a vampire like me," I hang up the phone before he can respond.

"Dolus! Pack my bags. I'm taking a little trip to California," I say, tossing the phone on the desk. I look out the window as the sun starts to rise.

"Yes, Master," Dolus says as he leaves my office.

"Don't worry, my little wolf. I'll be coming for you soon enough," I smirk, standing up and closing the black curtains to my office.

Grayson POV

I groaned as I tried to shift my body. I was waking up on the cold ground smelling blood, death, and piss.

"Where the fuck am I?" I looked around the dimly lit room and realized I was in a cell.

I got up, placed my hands on the bars, howled in pain, and pulled them back quickly.

"Fucking silver."

"Gideon, you there?" I called and got nothing but silence.

They must have used wolfsbane to weaken me.

"Fucking hell."

"Hey!" I yelled out.

"Anyone there?" I strained my ears to listen.

"Shut up, rogue," I heard a deep accented voice.

"I need to speak to the Alpha. It's urgent!" I said and waited for a response.

"What could a smelly rogue want with Alpha Antonio?" the voice said.

When I heard what he said, my eyes widened, and I realized I was in the Blue Eclipse pack dungeon. I tried to remember what happened the night of the attack, but my mind was drawing a blank.

"I need to speak to Staci," I told the warrior.

I heard a movement as the guard stepped forward and looked me in the eyes. He was tall, about 6'3, with solid muscle, ginger-red hair, and deep-sea green eyes.

"My name is Liam, and I'll see what my Alpha has to say," he told me, and I growled.

"I don't care about your Alpha. I want to talk to Staci now!" I shouted.

Liam gave a fierce growl and stepped in front of the cell.

"You will hold your tongue, rogue. Now shut up and wait," he growled.

I stepped back and watched as his eyes clouded over, indicating he was mind-linking to that fucking Alpha.

"The Alpha and Luna have agreed to speak with you," Liam said, folding his arms as he leaned against the stone wall behind him.

I nodded and sat on the cold floor. I couldn't wait to see my beautiful Staci again. I had mesmerized every curve of her body, those sparkling crystal blue eyes, that cute button nose, and that luscious plump ass of hers.

Staci POV

It has been three weeks since my training started with James and Todd. It was the middle of June, and the sun was scorching this afternoon.

I learned a lot from these two. James was a tall guy, around 6'1, with short dirty blonde hair, a few gray strands here and there that he kept short on the sides, dark brown eyes, and solid muscles for an older guy.

Todd was about 6 feet tall. He had curly black hair, a few gray strands reaching the top of his shoulders, deep blue eyes, and solid muscle. I learned that James could wield the fire element while Todd wielded the water element.

I was amazed at how well they could control their powers. James taught me how to manage my air power while he shot fireballs at me to deflect them, and Todd taught me how to use my air to stop his water balls.

The following power I discovered was water, and Todd taught me how to make water balls, create tidal waves, and make ice blades. It was neat to learn from them.

A few days ago, we called my parents to get an explanation about how they never knew about my powers. My Mother was the first to break the news, stating that when I was about five years old, Leslie took one of my dolls from me. She said I was so mad that I shot a fireball out of my hand.

My Father said he had located a witch who could help them understand what was happening to me. The witch explained that I was part of a prophecy, and my destiny was to save or destroy the world, depending on my choices. Dad explained that he had the witch cast a spell to hide my powers. The witch explained that after the spell was performed, the only way to awaken my powers was to be marked by my fated mate.

I felt someone pushing at my mental block and told the guys to hold on a second.

"My love, are you still training?" I squealed as I heard Antonio's deep voice.

"Yes, baby. I'm just finishing up with the guys."

Did you need something?" I asked.

At first, Antonio wasn't too keen on the idea that two males were helping me train, but he eventually understood my need to train to use my powers and put his possessiveness aside for my benefit.

"Grayson has woken up and is requesting an audience with you," I gasped, not realizing Grayson was still alive.

"My love, you still with me?" I heard Antonio ask.

"Yes baby, what does he want?" I asked and waited for a response.

"I don't know, my love, but meet me at the castle, and we will find out together," Antonio linked.

"Okay," I told my mate and closed the link.

I looked back at James and Todd.

"Hey guys, my mate needs me for some important stuff."

"Can we call it a day?" I asked and sipped my water.

"Hey, no problem. Let's resume the training tomorrow at 8 a.m." James said as I groaned internally.

I wouldn't say I liked early morning training, but this is necessary for me to learn as much as possible. I nodded as the two grabbed their training gear and headed toward their cottage.

I grabbed my training bag and headed toward the castle as I sipped more water.

"Goddess, it's hot," I whispered, entering the castle through the side door.

Antonio stood by the elevator, waiting for me.

"Ready?" he asked me as I nodded my head, and he grabbed my hand.

I knew I was sweaty and smelled, but Antonio didn't seem bothered by it. We stepped into the elevator, and Antonio pressed a button with no number on it.

"What's that button for?" I asked him.

"It leads down to the dungeon."

"We didn't number it, so no one could know where the dungeon was."

"The only people that know are the high ranks and now you," Antonio said as I smiled.

The elevator descended, and we reached the bottom level as the doors slid open. I was hit immediately with the smell of blood, death, and piss as it made my stomach churn.

"Ugh, I wasn't already feeling myself today, and I might just throw up my breakfast," I thought.

We walked down a long hall to a solid metal door with a warrior standing by it. Antonio tapped the buttons as the door hissed and opened to another hallway with cells on each side.

"Alpha, Luna," the warrior said as he bowed.

As we walked down the other long hall lined with cells, I saw the two rogues we had captured in the cells across each other. We continued to the last cell, and I saw Liam standing guard with his arms folded and face expressionless.

"Alpha, Luna," Liam bowed.

We stopped in front of the last cell. I turned to look inside, and Antonio stood by me. I saw a figure sitting on the floor. I saw his smirk, and the piercing gray eyes looked up at me. Solaris pushed forward and growled. She's been antsy lately, and I don't know why.

"What do you want, Grayson?" I asked.

Grayson tilted his head to the side, and his smile widened.

"Staci Blackwind, my beautiful mate," Grayson said and chuckled.

I heard a loud growl and looked to my side, seeing Antonio's eyes flash black as Ares came forward. I quickly grabbed his hand to help Ares calm down and turned to look at Grayson.

"I am not your mate anymore, Grayson."

"What the hell do you want?" I asked again as he looked at me and licked his lips.

"I want you! You belong to me!" Grayson yelled.

I watched as Antonio fought with his wolf, and I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his lips as he slowly calmed down.

"I'm right here, baby. I'm not going anywhere, I promise," I said to my mate as his eyes returned to those greenish-blue orbs that made me swoon.

I heard a growl and looked back at Grayson. I growled back as he flinched and looked at me wide-eyed.

"Antonio Silva, Alpha of the Blue Eclipse pack, is my mate, and I love him!" I yelled at Grayson.

He growled fiercely, tried to grab me through the bars, and howled in pain as the silver burned his skin.

"I challenge Alpha Antonio," Grayson growled. I looked back at him with widened eyes.

I heard a laugh and looked at my mate.

"You are stupid, aren't you, pup."

"If we fight, it's to the death, Grayson," Antonio said, and I gasped.

"That's Beta Grayson to you!" Grayson roared, making Antonio laugh.

"You are no longer a Beta but a filthy rogue. Nevertheless, I accept the challenge," Antonio said calmly.

I ran out of the dungeon, but I didn't make it far as my breakfast came back up on me. I threw up everything I had as I dried, heaved, and held my chest.

I was afraid not of Grayson but of losing Antonio. He was my rock, my big, strong Alpha, who held me at night and kissed away my bad dreams. I couldn't lose him.

I felt the need to throw again, so I did.

"Goddess, what is wrong with me," I thought as I wiped my mouth.

"Are you okay?" I heard Antonio ask and shook my head.

I felt dizzy, and the urge to throw up was intense. I felt it when Antonio picked me up and carried me toward the elevator.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"To the pack hospital, my love."

"I want to make sure you are okay," he said as we rode the elevator to the fifth floor.

Antonio POV

I mink linked Dr. Scott that I was on the way with Staci. He asked what happened to her, and I told him she felt dizzy and was throwing up and told me to take her in.

We arrived on the fifth floor, and I carried my mate to the hospital as Dr. Scott awaited our arrival.

"Alpha Antonio and Luna Staci, please follow me," he said as I followed him.

He led us to a room, and I laid Staci on the bed and stood by her side.

"So, Luna, how long have you been feeling sick and getting dizzy spells?" he asked Staci.

"For about a week, it comes and goes. Sometimes, it lasts all day," Staci said.

I watched as the doctor nodded his head. I wondered what was going on with Staci. She looked pale, and sweat collected on her brow. I went to the bathroom and wet a washcloth. I exited the bathroom, sat beside her, and wiped her forehead. I grabbed the pitcher and a cup, poured water into it, and handed the cup to Staci, who drank greedily.

"Can we take some blood?" Dr. Scott asked.

Staci nodded her head. I watched as the doctor took Staci's blood into some vials.

"I will return with the results. It won't be long," Dr. Scott said, exiting the room.

I nodded to the doctor as he left the room. I looked over at my mate, who was deep in her thoughts.

"Feeling okay?" I asked.

"Probably just stress from the training and then hearing Grayson challenge you," Staci said and sighed.

The doctor returned ten minutes later.

"Well, Luna, you appear to be in perfect health."

"We found nothing wrong with you physically other than you're pregnant," Dr. Scott announced.

I looked at the doctor with wide eyes.

"Come again?" I asked, not believing what I heard.

"Congratulations, Alpha and Luna. You are expecting a pup," Dr. Scott said with a smile.

I heard a gasp and looked at Staci while her hands covered her mouth.

"Are you sure, doctor?" I asked again.

"One-hundred percent Alpha. I did the blood test myself twice," the doctor said, looking down at his clipboard.

I looked at Staci as she had so many emotions swirling in her eyes, but I felt happiness and joy through our bond. I watched as the doctor left the room.

"A pup," I said out loud.

I felt Staci grab my hand and turn to look at her. I couldn't believe I was going to be a Father. Ares was prancing and running circles in my head.

"We are going to be parents," Staci said as I leaned down and kissed her cheek.

The doctor returned a few minutes later, rolling in some weird machine.

"Just going to check on the pup's development and see how far along you are, Luna," the doctor said.

I watched as Staci laid back on the bed and lowered her workout shorts. The doctor grabbed a bottle of clear-looking liquid, squirted a dab on Staci's abdomen, and grabbed a wand-looking thing.

"Sorry if the gel was cold, Luna," the doctor apologized.

Staci and I watched with interest as the doctor turned on the screen and moved the little doppler against Staci's abdomen.

When the image popped up, I kept looking to see if I could see anything.

"Oh My Gosh! Is that it?" Staci asked.

"Yup, that's your pup, Luna, and it looks like you are about two weeks along," the doctor said.

"Where?" I asked, still looking at the screen.

I watched as the doctor pointed to a little grayish blob on the screen.

"See that little blob, Alpha, that's your pup," the doctor said.

I was ecstatic. It was beautiful to see our pup growing inside Staci's womb. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the rhythmic beat of a heart, and Staci gasped.

"That's the pup's heartbeat, very strong," the doctor mentioned.

I looked at Staci and saw tears of joy in her eyes. I leaned down to kiss Staci's lips and wiped her tears away.

"We are having a pup," I said as she nodded and leaned into my embrace.

The doctor took a picture for us and finished his examination.

"Doctor, what about training? Can I still train while pregnant?" Staci asked the doctor.

"Yes, you can train, but no strenuous work, okay."

"I'm sure your wolf can protect your pup while you use your powers," the doctor said.

Staci nodded her head and chuckled as I looked at her.

"Solaris said no harm would come to this pup. She will protect it with her life," I heard Staci say.

The doctor nodded in confirmation and left us alone. Even though I was happy, my mind was swirling with thoughts about the impending future.

"Is this the right time for a pup with the impending war coming?" I thought.

"Baby, are you okay?" I looked at Staci and smiled.

"I'm just happy, my love," I said to her and leaned down to kiss her lips.

We left the hospital to head upstairs so Staci and I could shower and prepare for dinner. Everyone was going to get a surprise tonight.
