The Mysterious Billionaire

Chapter 310

Paige had purposely searched online to look for shops that replicated stamps privately in B City. Once she found one, she
immediately rushed to the shop and paid a huge sum of money for the shop to fabricate the Anderson Group's stamp. After the
seal was made, she rushed back to the Central South Building.
Paige had just parked her car when she saw Kyrie. He had one eye bandaged, and he was getting off his car hurriedly with his
bag in his hand.
Kyrie was Liam's slave. He was the one in charge of helping Liam carry out his dirty deeds.
Then, Paige rushed towards him and greeted him, "Mr. Gibson, you're coming back to work? How's your eye? You should've
taken an extended break."
Hearing her voice, Kyrie turned and hastily tried to hide the bag that he was holding as he stammered, "Good morning, Miss
Anderson... I mean, Vice President Anderson!"
"You don't have to address me so formally. It's just a powerless title given to me," Paige smiled and said. "I'm still wet behind the
ears, so I’ll be needing your help in the future, Mr. Gibson."
"You're too modest, Miss Anderson!" Kyrie looked at her cautiously.
Paige laughed coldly as she saw how protective he was of his office bag. It seemed that Kyrie was a very vigilant person.
Following Kyrie quietly into the elevator, she tried to coax something out of him. "Is my dad out today?"
"No, Mr. Anderson has been busy at work since morning," Kyrie answered.
That was a good thing. After all, Liam had to be the one to sign the agreement with Hayden as he would never hand such an
important project to Kyrie.
Paige calmed herself down, and she would have time to change the company stamp later.
She tried to talk to Kyrie as warmly as she could. "Mr. Gibson, you've worked for my dad for quite a long time, right?"

"Yes, I've been working for him for eight years now," Kyrie answered.
"That long? My dad has a foul temper, so it must be hard for you to work for him."
"No, not at all! Mr. Anderson is really good to us. He has always been caring to his employees. He's a good boss anyway," Kyrie
praised while laughing awkwardly.
Then, Paige smiled bitterly. If he was that concerned about his employees, then he wouldn't have kept changing his secretaries.
However, Kyrie had managed to work under Liam for eight years, so he was surely not one to be underestimated.
He must have done many bad deeds for Liam, which meant she would have to spend some time to keep an eye on him. If she
could find something against him, she could gain the upper hand and control him.
When the elevator stopped, Paige followed Kyrie to Liam's office. When Liam saw both of them together, he was surprised.
"Why are you both here?"
"We ran into each other outside, so we came inside together," Paige smiled as she walked towards him.
"Dad, Kyrie's eye hasn't fully healed yet. How could you make him come to work? The others will think that you are an
unreasonable boss.”
Then, Liam gave a hollow laugh. "I told him to rest too. He was the one who insisted on coming, even I couldn't stop him."
Was Kyrie the one who insisted on coming?
Wasn't it Liam who ordered him back to complete more dirty deeds?
If not, why did Kyrie return at his beck and call?

Then, Paige sneered quietly in her heart, "Dad, didn't Kyrie injure his eye? Don't trouble him. Let me help with your work. I can
learn from Kyrie."
"You can't do it. You would mess everything up since you don't know anything." Liam disagreed.
"Couldn't I shadow Kyrie to learn? If I followed Kyrie every day, wouldn't I get familiar with it slowly?" Paige insisted.
Seeing how persistent she was in following Kyrie, Liam decided not to object further.
"Alright, ask Kyrie to take you with him tomorrow. Let's call it a day."
"Okay, thank you, dad! Kyrie, since you're the one that is going to be teaching me, you can't hide anything from me," Paige said
deliberately.
"That won't happen. Don't worry, Miss Anderson!"
"Then I'll go back to the office first. You all can continue with your work." Paige smiled and left. As she walked out of the office, a
hint of coldness flashed in her eyes.
Liam had promised to let her shadow Kyrie to learn tomorrow, which meant that he would finish everything he needed to do
today.
This meant that she had to keep an eye on Liam and Kyrie today. There was still half a day left, and she had to make full use of
this time.
Then, Kyrie followed Paige and saw her out.
Seeing Paige entered her office, he immediately locked the door and lowered his voice.
"Mr. Anderson, did Miss Anderson discover something?"
"What can she find anyways?" Liam retorted.

"I think there's something off about her today, and the way she looked at me just now makes me feel a little uncomfortable," Kyrie
admitted.
"You're obviously older and more experienced that her, so why are you so scared of that brat anyways?" Liam snorted.
"I'm telling you, this is really just all in your head. Forget about it, and let's get ready to sign the contract with Hayden tonight.
Once the contract is signed, Paige can't do anything about it even if she wanted to." Listening to Liam's words, Kyrie somewhat
found that he had been too anxious.
Paige was just a clueless Little Miss Perfect. What was he so worried about?
Kyrie nodded as he thought about it. "I understand! By the way, Mr. Anderson, did you make an appointment with Hayden
beforehand?"
"Yes, I called him just now. He asked me to bring the contract with me later at eight. You'll be coming with me to meet him too."
Liam replied
"That's great!" Kyrie was relieved.
Paige didn't leave at all. She put her ear on the door as she tried to hear the fluctuating voices of the two people inside the office.
Even though she couldn't hear their conversation completely, she had heard enough to get the gist of it.
Kyrie was extremely loyal to Liam, who would bring him to see Hayden tonight. That meant that their plan hadn't been completed
yet.
She had to find a way to deal with it as soon as possible, and she would start by using Kyrie to switch out the official stamp.
Paige was about to leave when Liam's cell phone rang. He answered the call and replied angrily, "D*mn it! Our company's bank
account has been frozen suddenly."

"What? Why is it frozen?" Kyrie replied and a confused expression all over his face.
"The court called and said that someone accused us of not paying back our debts. Therefore, they froze our company's fund
account at the other company's request."
Then, Liam said angrily, "Who could have done this? Did our competitors do this? The court said that the contracts had our
company's stamp on them. You should check immediately to see if we still have the seal. Could it be that someone stole it to
commit fraud? If so, everything would have gone to sh*t!"
Immediately after Liam finished speaking, Kyrie opened the safe to check on the company stamp. It was placed in the safe, and
he took it out to check on it. "Mr. Anderson, the seal is still in the safe. It has never been stolen from you or me, so what's the
meaning of this so-called debt?"
"I have no idea. There must be someone messing with us. After all, we can't ignore the repercussions that comes with the things
we're dealing with." Liam smiled coldly.
"What should we do now?" Kyrie asked.
"Ignore it. Luckily, I didn't think of transferring our funds and paid in arrears. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to transfer the money
at all."
Liam sneered. "It doesn't matter. Everything will be fine after we sign the contract tonight."
