The Missing Princess

Reign

A smile spreads across my face as I wake up. As I open my eyes I am met with a head of copper hair. A bare shoulder catches my attention. My hand slides down a bare hip as I place feather light kisses along that bare shoulder. I lightly catch the hair falling over the shoulder that I am kissing pulling it away from the rest of her shoulder and neck. I trace my nose along her neck before kissing my mark that stands out against her lightly tanned skin. A soft moan fell from her lips. The small sliver of light coming through the binds caught her engagement ring and made it shine like she does. I waited as long as I could but after a while I pried myself away from my little copper flame. Kodi let out a whine as she stretched. I saw a small flinch as she moved. After we got home last night we celebrated. I have no idea how many times I had her last night but I do know that we have only been a sleep for a few hours. I glance over my shoulder to see her wiggling around probably trying to find me. I waited for the water to get hot before stepping into the shower. I had just rinsed the shampoo out of my hair when two arms wrapped around my waist.

“Good morning my little copper flame.” I drawl.

“Morning my alpha.” She replied.

I could still hear the tiredness in her voice. I turned around to look at my gorgeous fiance. I bent down and pressed my lips to hers. My hand slid down grabbing her perky ass. She pulled away from looking me in the eyes.

“As much as I would like to play around with you I am sore and hungry.” Kodi points out.

“Fine, lets finish this shower and head down for breakfast.” I comment.

“Sounds good to me. Everyone is going to lose their shit. Naydeen is going to scream. This will be the only think we talk about at breakfast.” She sighs.

“Yes it will be but that is because everyone is going to be happy for us. Be prepared, by the end of the day my sister will know and I am positive that her and Ellie will be here by tomorrow. That means dip shit and dumb ass will be with them.” I told her.

I smiled as she started grumbling about her brothers. They might annoy the shit out of her, but she would have their back in a heartbeat. Rory and Vance would kill anyone that hurt her. I stepped out of the shower letting her finish. By the time I am dressed and walked out of the closet she was standing there in a matching bra and thong that damn near matched her skin tone. I closed my eyes because if I didn’t we won’t be making down stair for breakfast.

Except now I have that image in my mind. I shake my head before I throw her on the bed and bury my face between her legs, again. I won’t lie I spent a lot of time with my face between her legs last night.

“Are the two of you done mentally fucking me, again?” Kodi asked.

“Yes, we should go down for breakfast. Sorry about Blade.” I told her.

Blade was still going on about how we should have her for breakfast. I saw her roll her eyes which means that she heard him. I slightly forget that she can hear him, but he doesn’t seem to care. A blush creeps across her face as we walked down the stairs and into the main room where everyone is.

“Should I even ask what has my daughter-in-law is blushing for?” Dad asked.

“No, and it doesn’t matter.” Kodi grumbles.

I start filling her plate with food as she sat down. I sat it down in front of her as she grabbed her coffee. Blade and I still haven’t detected a change in her scent, but I swear we heard might have been heart beat this morning before she woke up. When I tried to hear it again I couldn’t hear it again. I don’t know if she would be far enough along to see our pup on an ultrasound. I think a phone call to her grandmother is order.

“Fucking hell.” I growl.

Naydeen finally noticed Kodi’s ring and lost her shit. I am not sure how she didn’t break all the fucking windows in the pack house. Everyone covered their ears as she continued to scream until dad literally covered her mouth with his hand. The glare dad received was vicious and I expected him to burst into flames. I laughed when she bit his hand.

“Dammit woman that was no need to bite me.” Dad hissed.

“Don’t cover my mouth asshole.” Naydeen replied.

Everyone started laughing at them. Dad did ask about the wedding and planning. Kodi told him that right now she isn’t thinking of that right now. I said we want some time to be engaged and that maybe in a few months we might start looking at things for our wedding, but right now we just want to be us. I also don’t want her perfect day to be ruined by those assholes that are out there waiting to get their hands on my little copper flame. I could tell that Naydeen wasn’t happy with that response, but this is our wedding and our decision when we start planning the wedding.

“When we start to plan you will be part of it. I promise Nay.” Kodi says.

“Ok, we should at least start looking at dresses. Not to get one but to figure out what style you want. That is usually the biggest hurdle for most women. Plus if it needs to be altered then we have plenty of time for that to happen.” Naydeen points out.

“While I hate shopping you do have a point. I will talk with Dani and Ellie and see when they could come. I would like to wait a little while though.” Kodi commented.

“That is fair.” Naydeen added.

After that breakfast went fine. A few of the omegas gushed over her ring. I do like that she has gotten to know all the omegas that work in the pack house. They have gotten close and I know she considers them her friends. I did almost lose my shit the first time I heard them use her name and not call her Luna. Kodi explained that she told them that she was fine with them using her name when it was just our pack and no one was visiting. I wasn’t thrilled with it but I didn’t correct them.

“Shit.” I mumble.

“What?” Kodi asked.

“I just fucking remembered that a a few Alpha’s are coming here for a meeting in, fuck two weeks.” I groan.

“I take it you don’t like them.” She comments.

“There are two that I would rather not ever see again, but the other six are fine and we are good friends.” I explained.

“You’ll make it through. I’ll be there right beside you and if any of those alphas want to start shit or run their mouths then me and the shadows will have a discussion with those fuckers.” Kodi hisses.

I grabbed her hips pulling her into my lap. I can’t help but laugh at my little copper flame. The thing is I know she isn’t joking and none of them would stand a chance against her. She stays in my lap as I work doing something on her phone. I do catch a glimpse of wedding dresses but I keep my opinions to myself. I return to what I need to be doing. Goddammit, I was hoping those two wouldn’t be able to come, but of course they are the first two to RSVP for the damn meeting. Maybe I can talk dad into being the alpha that day.

While I hate shopping I am actually kind of enjoying myself. Naydeen, Dani, and Ellie are here with me as we step into this dress shop. This is the second bridal shop we have been to. We left the last one when the bitch decided to try force me into a style that I hate so I told her to shove the dress she had in her hands up her snotty ass as I walked out of her store. Dani said that she knew the woman that owned this store. I trust Dani so I hope this goes well. I wander over and start looking through a rack of dresses. I have decided that I don’t want a white dress. I heard Dani talking with someone as the walked over to where I was.

“Kodi, this is Gylndia and she owns this shop.” Dani says.

I looked at the women and I knew immediately she is a fey. I should have known considering that many of these dresses have a very fey style. There is nothing wrong with that.

“Princess.” Gylndia said.

“Please don’t bow. Don’t worry about my brothers I will deal with them.” I told her.

“Okay as long as the kings don’t get upset with me.” She replied.

She asked me a few questions about the type of dress that I wanted and the colour. I explained to her and I even showed her a few pictures of dresses that I like. The colour was the one thing I wasn’t sure of. With my hair and eye colour I knew I wouldn’t have that many options. She looked at the pictures I showed her and the scurried off. I am not sure what happened so I continued looking through the dresses none of which were jumping out at me. Naydeen called for me so I headed back to where they had made themselves at home. Gylndia was there with a rack of dresses. She starts pulling out dresses that she thinks I would like and has me try them on. I will admit that all of them are in the same colour, but vastly different styles. The first three I didn’t like they don’t work for me. The colour is fine but the styles just aren’t me. She hands me the next dress over the top of the door. I take it from her and let out a sigh. I slip into the dress and all I can do is stand there and stare.

“Kodi come out and let us see that one.” Ellie says.

“Alright hold on.” I replied.

I walked out there and I swear it was like they all gasped at the same time. I stepped onto the little stage and looked at myself in the mirror. I couldn’t take my eyes off myself. This is the one.

“Oh honey this is the one.” Naydeen whispered.

“Yes, yes, it is.” I said.

It will need a little alteration in the chest area. I am bigger in the chest than whoever this dress was designed for. Gylndia says that she can have the alterations done in no time.

“There is no hurry. Honestly we were just looking. Reign and I haven’t even started seriously planning. The only thing we have decided on are the colours. He wants copper and I wanted Larimar blue, just like Reign’s eyes, and a heather grey.” I told them.

Gylndia says that she will have the dress altered and then she can keep it in her office. I told her that is fine. I don’t want to keep it at the pack house. I know Reign would come across it and then I would have to kill him. Dani, Ellie, and Naydeen and are thrilled that I found a dress. I am actually surprised I found one that fast. Dani tells us that it is time for lunch and I can’t agree more.

“Well how did the dress shopping go?” Reign asked.

“I found my dress which was surprising. It is also not white.” I answered.

“Well damn, that was not the answer I was expecting. I like the fact that that it isn’t white. I don’t think you would look good in white. With your hair and eyes I think it would make you look pale or something like that.” Reign says.

“I agree. It has to be altered a little. Apparently the models or mannequins don’t have boobs.” I told him.

This asshole laughs when I say this. I have no idea why he is laughing because you know where his hand was this morning when I woke up? It was up my shirt with my boob in it. Honestly nine times out of ten his hand has my boob encased in it when I wake up. I flipped him off making him laugh harder as I walked into the bathroom. I shut the door and locked it. I heard him try to open the door then growl. Yeah he might be able to get around the lock but not my magic. Time for a bath and some peace and quiet.
