The Missing Princess

“Don’t laugh at me asshole.” I hissed.

“Sorry my little copper flame, but you are more excited that some of the pups in the pack when the ice cream truck drive through.” Reign chuckles.

“Oh fuck off. I can’t help it. The only vampire’s I know are Eli and his guys. Uncle Randy didn’t know any that I was aware of or if he did he never told me about them. I have always had a fascination with them. I wish I could have convinced Fern to come with us.” I explained.

“Fern will come around. I think learning that he is related to Eli was more than he could handle. I still find it hard to believe that his parents never told him he was adopted.” Reign points out.

Reign had just parked his truck as the front door opened. Eli stood there along with a very beautiful woman. She was tall, curvy and suddenly I felt very inadequate with her here. Her long black hair reached all the way to her perfect ass making her purple eyes reminded me of Tanzanite, pop. Her pale skin made her even more gorgeous. I am starting to think coming here was not that great of an idea. Reign wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him.

“Alpha Reign and Luna Kodi welcome to my kingdom. This is Raelynn, my beloved.” Eli told us.

“It is nice to meet you. Thank you for letting us come here today.” I replied.

“You are welcome here anytime you like.” Eli says.

“Oh my god she is adorable. Her eyes are fucking unbelievable.” Raelynn squealed.

I couldn’t control the small scream that escaped when she pulled me from Reign’s arms hugging me close. I had no idea what to do so I stood there with my arms at my side. I heard someone let out a huff as a low growl sounded from behind me. I could feel Reign’s annoyance in our bond.

“Raelynn let Kodi go. The vein in the side of Reign’s head is about pop.” Xenton comments.

Thankfully she let me go. Reign pulled me back into his arms while watching Raelynn closely. Eli had a smirk on his face while Xenton looked exasperated. Raelynn glared at him before smacking him on the shoulder.

“God I hate you. Go back and hide in your little hole in the wall.” She sneered.

She turned around and walked off after Xenton when he grabbed her drink. I could hear her screaming obscenities and death threats at him. We followed Eli into the house which was fucking ginormous and stunning. I should have known that Eli’s house would be this ridiculously nice. He is the vampire king after all. I watched as a very distinguished man and woman walked towards us. I suddenly felt very under dressed. This wasn’t a formal visit but they were dressed as if it was.

“Reign it is good to see you again. It has been far to long.” The woman said.

“It has been that Queen Amelia. Dad would have come along if he had know you and King Carver would be here.” Reign replied.

“Nonsense, I am sure Aaron has more than enough on his plate. I am going to guess this gorgeous young lady is your mate and Luna.” King Carver stated.

“Yes, it is very nice to meet you, your majesties.” I said.

“Oh honey there is no need for all this formal shit. Please call us Amelia and Carver. Eli is king and Raelynn is Queen even if she isn’t acting like it at this moment. Why are those two arguing?” Queen Amelia comments.

“You know how those two are. The joys of being twins.” Eli muttered.

It all made so much sense now. Xenton and Raelynn were siblings. I should have known. They act like my idiot brothers. Eli led us to a patio where a large table was set up. I thought Amelia and Carver were going to join us but they explained that they had already made previous plans when Eli had told them that we would be coming over. The said their good-byes as the left. Eli gave us a tour of the house, which I find funny. The damn place is more like a fucking castle. I am so fucked if I get separated from him and Reign. This place is huge and I am already lost. He introduces us to a few people as we continue our tour. Someone catches my eye when Eli introduces us to one of his most trusted advisors. There is a guy standing on the other side of the room watching us, well me specifically. I try to ignore him but I can feel him watching me. I don’t want to draw any attention.

“This is Volotor. He is a distant cousin on my fathers side.” Eli says.

“It is a pleasure to meet you, Alpha and Luna.” Volotor drawls.

The way he says my title sounds fake and slimy. This guy gives me the creeps. Now that I am closer to him, which also creeps me out, the feeling that I have seen him before starts to slither into my mind. His eyes flash as a memory starts to filter through my head. His eyes I know I have seen before, but he doesn’t look like the guy that I can somewhat remember. I give him a weak smile as Eli has us continue on our way. I can feel him starting at me until we walk around the corner. I giggle as we walk into a large room where Xenton and Raelynn are standing. They are arguing which causes Eli to roll his eyes. I laughed as we watched them.

“I feel your pain.” I drawl.

“Thanks, they usually aren’t this bad.” Eli sighs.

"It's like Rory and Vance only one is a girl." I giggled.

We have spent most of the day here and I have to admit it was fun. Everyone was nice, well most everyone. There were a couple of the women that shot me some scathing looks. I am not sure why. Okay, fine, Reign, my big bad alpha is sexy as fuck, but he showed no interest in them beyond being cordial. I catch that same guy from earlier watching me as we walk with Eli out to Reign’s truck. I have felt his eyes follow me everywhere the whole day. I would have asked him what his problem is but I don’t want to make a scene. Well I should say another scene. I had let shit slide most of the day, but one of those vampire bitches wouldn’t leave Reign alone and I had enough. I put her in her place. I ripped into her when she wouldn’t remove her slimy hands from my alpha. When she refused I kicked her ass. She tried to paint me as the aggressor, but Eli was having none of it. Raelynn explained that she was obsessed with Eli and Raelynn believed that she was trying to make Eli jealous. Well it back fired terribly for her. I have no idea what is going to happen to her and to be honest I don’t fucking care.

“My feisty little copper flame.” Reign grumbled.

“I will not apologise. That dirty cunt had it coming. Stupid bitch shouldn’t have touched what is not hers.” I hissed.

Reign turned around as I started to climb out of his truck. I giggled as I climbed on his back. I slapped his shoulder when his hands slid under my ass to hold me. Mauku and Kekipi smirked at us as we walked in so I flipped them off. I am sure everyone heard what happened. It’s not my problem, bitch had it coming.

Zenos

Things had gone quiet these last few weeks. After finding out what Eros did I was pissed as was his mother. I had spoken to her asking if there was a way to rebuild the bond between them, but Dobrita told me there was no way since Ellie had found and been marked by her second chance mate. I pray that he will get a second chance mate of his own. Amir was still keeping us informed as to what was going on within the pack, but it appears that things have calmed down there as well. I have pulled all my guys from the islands. I want them to think that we have given up on kidnapping Kodi. For the time being I want the pack and her watched. I need more information on the pack and how it would be possible to get her off the big island without every fucking alarm going off.

“Does she leave the pack often?” Lamar asked.

“Yes, but all the places that she frequents are in the busiest parts of the city. The only place she frequents that is located in a somewhat quiet area is this café. The owners are human, but I am damn certain they know of the supernatural.” I answered.

I was still looking into that café as well. There was something strange about, but I couldn’t put my finger on what bothered me about it. I had sent a couple of my people in there. The two I sent in there were women as to not raise suspicion. They looked like college students which I noticed did frequent that café. It wasn’t to far from the college campus.

“I need her to go to somewhere that no one would suspect she would disappear from.” I groan.

“I think I can help with that.” A low smooth voice commented.

I looked up to see Volotor standing there. Well, shit it has been a while since he came around. He had been working with Dobrita and I for years. He was there the night that Randy’s house went up in flames and he is the one that saw the girl, who we now know was Kodi leave the house.

“It is good to see you again my friend.” I told him.

“It has been way to long.” Volotor replied.

“You said you could help, and I would like to know how you can help.” I comment.

“Reign and Kodi visited the castle today. I was surprised to see her. I had always had a feeling that she was here on one of the islands, but I could never find solid proof. Eli told them they are welcome to visit whenever they want. I think I could arrange for her to disappear from the castle. By the time anyone figured out she was gone it would be to late.” Volotor points out.

That plan has potential but I do tell him that I want to observe for a while. I explain I want things to cool down before we try and kidnap her. Then it hits me. Once we have her Eros can force mark her over Reign’s mark and make her his. I could care less that they are cousins and I don’t think he would care either. I run my plan by Volotor and Dobrita and they agree. In truth they really aren’t related. I found out a little bit of tantalising information. My mother isn’t my biological mother. My biological mother is some fey woman that Dad had a brief fling with right before him and who everyone thinks my mother got together. Mom was pregnant but their son was still born. My biological mother had snuck me in as a replacement for him without their knowledge. I have no idea how she managed to do that, but she did. I have no idea where she went after I was born, but I have a feeling that she is dead. I explain this to Volotor and he is shocked just as I was when I found this out.

“Does your father even know about this?” Volotor asked.

“I don’t think so. I also don’t think my biological mother was full fey, but I can’t prove it. I don’t even have a name for her. I happened to over hear someone talking about it when I was in town years ago so I did a little research of my own and that is when I found out about her. No one seemed to know where she came from or where she disappeared to.” I answer.

The five of us sat there for a few more hours and started to come up with some sort of plan. It is still very rough but I feel somewhat good about this plan. There is only one big problem with the plan and that is Kodi herself. We have to find a way to immobilize her without hurting her. There is no way we can pull this off if she is able use her powers. I am strong as is Dobrita. Volotor is also very powerful, but none of us are even close to the power that girl holds. Dobrita says that she will look into a way to immobilize or sedate her, but it could take a while. Time is something we have more than enough of. I want every t crossed and I dotted before we set this plan in motion.
